Been a while I was last in here. No dey easy Ooo. we dey find work till work keep us very busy.

Okay with regards to your question, I wan talk something.

It's better we learn how to use the Search Engines such as Google.com , Nothing bad coming in here to ask for clarifiications from probably those who knows better BUT first make an attempt at helping yourself.

Nobody wey dem born with knowledge. We all learnt in this world.

I dey talk am so as to avoid you guys having People forming Alpa & Omega on-top small basic things you could have known yourselves.

Some people go even give out huge projects to the wrong person just because the person was able to tell them a couple of things. When in essence, a sinple google search could have told you much more.
Who knows, mayBe even those PROs you're expecting to spoonFeed you did a googleSearch to copy what they told you.

Person fit go copy something tell you, without telling you some other things, mayBe they didn't know.

@dbshaywhy , just understand that everything has got it's PROs and CONs hence you need know and understtand both sides to take an informed decision. Should you deligate that to a marketer or one looking to get paid by you, then you run risk of being taken advantage of.

If I were in your shoes, I would NOT go for a High Frequency Inverter . AnyOne who understands transformers, should probably know why. To know why yourself, feel free to use the search engines - they would tell you much more than most people would tell you in here.
I've done my search already, but wants reviews from those that are already familiar with it, be it installers or the user. Thanks sir

Good day my able professionalsl
I want to fully upgrade my solar system to 48v and I have been eyeing this GROWATT SPF 3500 ES 48V INVERTER.
Here are my concern, I read it online that it's a high frequency inverter, of which 50/60Hz was stated in its sheet.
I need clarifications

Better you use 6mm for your PV input and 25mm or 35mm for battery to inverter(16mm at the least)
Growatt state that
2 awg for battery input
8 awg for pv ń ac input and ac output.

Good day professionals,
Can single core coleman wire (say 4mm and 6mm) be use?
4mm.... A output and input
4mm....pv input (about 8 pcs of 435w jinko solar panels)
6mm...battery to 3.5kva Growatt 48v ES.
Is Growatt better than felicity?

Hybrid is your choice here, work with @Zeestone99 or @Valto to give you a reasonable quote and inverter within your budget.

3.6kw SMS Sunmate inverter could work with your stated load and even accommodate near future expansion but don't load the inverter more than 70% of it capacity at any given time to prolong it lifespan.

Your hybrid inverter should be any of these based on your budget:

3.6KW 24V SMS Sunmate Inverter
3KW/3.3KW 24V SRNE Inverter
3KW 24V Felicity(I don't know why this is dangerously high in prices now).

Noted, thanks very much, but you only stated for 24v, is 48v not advisable or a waste,

Cc. Valto already flagging 48v 105ah lithium battery and a 6.2kw 48v hybrid(I think this is China product, hopefully it's durable)

> I will always recommend Hybrid over External CC (Except for High-end CCs).

> For High end Inverters, choose among: Huawei, Schneider, Deye.
For Voltronic based Inverters go for: Growatt, MPP Solar, Felicity, Senre, (Many More in this class.

> If you must opt for external CC, go for an 80A to 120A CC. (e get why)

> For Battery (Patented): Huawei, Deye, Dyness, nRuit, Blue Carbon, Felicity, CWorth, ETC
> For Battery (Assembled): Contact @Valto straight away.

> For Solar Panels: Make sure 6pcs (I recommend 12pcs) will be enough to charge your battery to full while carrying your loads simultaneously.
Considering that Pmax (NOCT) of Jinko 550w is about 409Wp, 6x409=2,454Kwp, Which might not be sufficient for you on an cloudy day. But 12x409=4,908Kwp (Fair for daytime Charging and Loads), moreover 12pcs of Jinko in series is still in the safe zone for a 500V PV Hybrid Inverter during an STC.
Grid is no longer an option or alternative to dark or cloudy days.

No heavy appliances in use, no ac, no heater, no microwave, more so, not always at home during the day from Monday to Saturday except Sundays

Thanks for your input... Am not always at always during the day from Monday to Saturday, except Sundays.
With my rough calculations, instantaneous load in the when back can never exceed 360w, while over the night, 80w with century rechargeable fan(mains will be on wen notice its getting low)

My budget 2.2M

A 43 inch lg smart tv 65w

Xboom 720 W RMS 80w

Good morning professionals and end users...

1. What other good brands of inverter can you Recommend.

2. What can you say on Growatt inverter SPF 48V 3500/5000kva ES?.

3. Does jinko 550w panel comes as 12 or 24v?
Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dbshaywhy(m): 10:47am On Mar 02
bassdow:

Question: 3. Can I still use the former set up alongside, the panels and the cc excluding the battery and inverter.

Answer: NO. Whenever you mix Solar Panels of different Capacities, the Solar Panel of higher Capacities, comes down to level of the Lowest Solar Panel's capacity on the string hence 200w + 100w in series would give you 100w.

yea you could start considering the VOCs but those are hacky tactics better left to those who really knows what they're doing. Even then sef, there must be looses

As for the former set up, was thinking of margin it to the new one.... Meaning two different solar pv array with 2 different charge controller in connection to one battery set up.

I'm glad you're using a brand of charge Controller that's much better than the Plenty nonesense wey full market.

hopefully, you're very much aware You would require a charge Controller of higher capacity.

Theory may not give you the needed results in question 1. Tell us your loads and we will tell you the pv capacity that will power the loads and charge the battery to full in a day plus or minus.

2. Hybrid and non hybrid are durable, efficient and stable. It's a matter of choice.

3. Panels are still ok if you wish to continue with that capacity but that 30a cc is not good for 24v or 48v system.
Thanks sir.... Will do that and get back

Good morning professionals
Thanks for those that posted that fouani is now selling jinko panels, they are as well into inverter(growat), Huawei lithium battery and one other brand lithium battery, but they are much more expensive.
I need the professional input, I already have this set up

2 200w zinox panel

1 220w tokunbo panel(brand name forgotten, just added few months ago)

30a epever mppt cc

1 220ah Mercury tall tubular battery

1kva nexus inverter.

Presently I intend full upgrade to 3 - 3.5kva inverter and lithium battery of 5kwh.

1. Will 4 pcs of 435w jinko panels mono facial suffice full charge?

2. Is it advisable to use an hybrid inverter in terms of durability, efficiency and stability, if yes, what brand?
3. Can I still use the former set up alongside, the panels and the cc excluding the battery and inverter... Thanks for your input

Dear professionals
Please, my soak away floor basement was leaking water, the floor was prepared laying nylon and pouring concrete before block setting (that's around March), we prepared 6 head pan of sharp sand, 4 pan of 3/4 down granite and 1 bag of cement, it was poured dried without water so as to soak up the water from the leakage while it blocked the leakage surface... But it failed...
What can I do or which chemicals can I use to stop the water leakage?
Thanks in anticipation.

Prinzton:

Post this in the properties section or best consult a professional.

But to help a bit. If it's from a spot, plug it using Dr. fixit but if it's an area, break the affected area then mix concrete in ratio of 1:1:2 (1 bag cement + 2 headpan sand + 3-4 headpan ½ inch granite or granite chipping + Dr fix it waterproof {either liquid or powder equal in volume to the cement} then mix thoroughly without too much water and compact.
After which you screed or replaster lightly the surface of the entire area with cement mixed with little plaster sand and waterproof cement (ratio 1:3 to one pack of Dr fixit)

Drain the water within the area then make sure to pour dry cement first to absorb the moisture before pouring the concrete mix.

Like I said initially, consult a professional for further guidance. And make we try to dey pay professional fees rather than using quacks.

Thanks for your input... I actually wants to post it on properties section... But mistakenly post it here

They're meant to work outdoors and should be waterproof. I got 2 earlier this year and from personal experience, I replaced both the same week I bought it. One did not last till dawn even after indicating full charge and both were not as bright as the other 100w I have been using for over 2 years.

PS: I no be professional

Well, I have install one already, but it's under shade, it always last till nxt morning... Infact by 2 pm daybreak, it's already full indicating green light.

But which do u now recommend I get?

1.5mm is too small for the pump.
It will work but there will be a lot of voltage drops which will increase the current draw it the pump.
Thanks bro... What's the possible solutions to this?

I will be installing tie grid solar power systems in new 3 bedroom buid... No air condition, no heater, no microwave... Just the regular appliance with 0.5 hp whale submersible pump.
Am currently on 12v system with tubular battery but will ignoring all that with new total systems...
I will love recommendations on what capacity of panels(jinko) , battery(lithium battery) and inverter (brand recommendations required) to work with.

I mean instant power coming from ur panels per hour or does it displays amp. If it does, aw many amps max av u seen on it b4? The charge controller is meant for 30a but can handle Abit higher. Say 35a. So if ur 2 200w does give u up 25a. U can add 1 more 200w. But if u get above 25a. Just change d controller.
It display amps.... And highest I've seen so far is around 8-9 amps.... On some Sundays if checked... Coz I work Monday to Saturday.

Does ur 2 panels produce up to 390w at peak. If yes, it best u change d charge controller if u wantu to add more panels.
