Romelu Lukaku apologised to Scotland boss, Steve Clarke after scoring a brace in Belgium’s 3-0 Euro 2020 qualifying win over Scotland.

– Nigerians have reacted to the report that another looted fund by late Gen. Sanni Abacha is set to be recovered

According to a report made public on Tuesday, it was disclosed that another looted funds belonging to late Nigerian former Head of State, Gen. Sanni Abacha has been seized from a Jersey Bank Account.

The report added that the money was ”derived from corruption” during the military rule of late Gen. Sanni Abacha in the 1990s, according to Jersey Civil Asset and Recovery Fund.

It was disclosed that the money amounted to the sum of £210 million and would be shared between Nigeria, Jersey and the US.

Nigeria’s U-20 team have reportedly refused to vacate their hotel in Poland over a bonus row following their elimination from the World Cup by Senegal in the round of 16 stage of the competition according to a report by owngoalnigeria.com

Players of the Flying Eagles have insisted on the payment of their bonuses before leaving their hotel and have already deliberately missed their flight back home.

The players were scheduled to return to Nigeria on Tuesday morning but missed their flight after refusing to leave their hotels before payment of their bonuses.

According to the report, pleas from the team officials fell on deaf ears as the players maintained their stand.

It remains to be seen how soon enough the issues will be resolved and the team return back into the country.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has now fulfilled their 25-year old promise to former Super Eagles coach, Clement Westerhof, for leading the Nigerian team to world glory as are back as 1994.

The minister of power, works and housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola who made the presentation on behalf of the FG said it was regrettable that it took so long for the government to redeem their promise.

A passionate mother has blasted her son’s father for the merciless beating of their 1-year-old child while he was in custody of the father.

The unidentified woman had threatened that the man will never set his eye on the child again for leaving the little boy with a bruise after his session of punishment.

According to the mother, the father had claimed that the boy played out of the store and went missing for some minutes, he decided to serve the little boy some portion of punishment which left the kid with a bruised back.

Information reaching iDONSABI indicates that President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the N8.91tn 2019 Appropriation Bill into law.

The president assented to the bill on Monday, in the presence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Danjuma Goje; the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo-Udoma; and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang and other government officials.

Speaking, Udo-Udoma revealed that the federal government will be hosting a pubic presentation of the signed budget on Tuesday, 28th May 2019 by 10:30 am at the Main Auditorium, Federal Ministry of Finance, CBD Abuja.
