We have neva had it this bad in our entire history..
For the first time, all major challenges are having internal party issues and court cases
From Apapa to Gombe to Obio Akpor.
Make no mistakes about this, every party has one form of internal crisis or another. No perfect party.
The ruling party should not be using State institutions like the Presidency, The Judiciary and The Security forces to fuel these crises in opposition parties.
Even APC had their own crisis when they forced Ganduje to resign before his tenure.
If Ganduje was an opposition party, APC would have used him to cause crisis in the opposition party... |

Registering a fresh unknown party shouldn't be too hard since all the ready-made alternatives are a no-go.
This would save all of them this mess. They tried to register a new party from the beginning.. Remember ADA? But Tinubu and INEC kept frustrating them and didn't want to register them. That's why they had to form alliance with an old party. |

You're talking of Buhari right? Buhari that even his family members were losing elections? Well, Like you guys always boast, Tinubu is not Buhari... Tinubu would never lose that way.. Besides these judges know what they do,, they are not fools. They give opposition one favourable judgement and give 20 unfavorable ones. They are not fools,,, they know how well to cover their tracks. |

In this country today proof means nothing.. Courts are useless, the only judge you should listen to these days is your conscience! If in your conscience you believe that a man who willingly submitted his resignation and came back 4 months later to say they forged his signature.. If your conscience tells you his is correct, so be it. |

Afrojuju2017: An order is not a judgement, it was also in blatant conflict with the prior orders and judgements of the federal high court and at least another high court which had not been vacated.
Seyi Makinde was told by Saraki to delay the convention and allow them to resolve for fundamental legal issues, but they wanted to work to an already concluded decision because of Wike, They tried to beat Wike in his game and they found they were way over their heads that was their primary error.
They should have just played along with Wike and then undermine him at the convention that is how a smart bunch work. Saraki is not the law, neither is he the court. What he told Makinde is of no consequence,, Afterall he's just another Wike slaveboy, a snake. Even his own father had a taste of his treachery! And then you keep saying an order is not a judgement! So is an order meant to be disobeyed because it is not a judgement? What's going on with you man?? An order is given a day before the convention ordering them to go ahead with the convention,, So are you saying they should have disobeyed the order because it wasn't a judgement? Haba! . You are already cornered in this argument but you don't know how to swallow your pride and just say;; "Yes I was wrong, there was indeed an order to proceed with the convention" Give it up boy!!! 😁 |

Afrojuju2017: Please go do your proper research, just some thousand of naira would allow you to do a legal search at the Oyo State high court.
No final judgement was given by the justice before the Ibadan convention , what they had was an order.
It was a faux par for Seyi and Bala to have conducted that convention. God forbid. Whether order or judgement,, You don't even need to go to Oyo high court to remember that an order or whatever was given a day before that convention, giving them permission to proceed. That "order" was given the day before the Ibadan convention and clearly states; "proceed with the convention" and "INEC monitor the convention" And you're still here saying what I don't know. |

This is the handiwork of Tinubu and APC. Anyone who cannot see this is either pretending or very low in intelligence..
For the first time in our history all the major political parties have factions and crises at the same time, same election period. You call that a coincidence?
Some might say it was a court order, but we know that script.
There is no political party without Internal issues but when a ruling party uses Federal power to fuel the crises it becomes demonic.
Even APC had problems when they removed Ganduje before the end of his tenure.
If what happened to Ganduje was in ADC, PDP or LP,,,,,,,the ruling party APC would have put their hand to use Ganduje to break up the party. Ganduje would have been urged to go to court to scatter the party.
Tinubu, his enforcers and his APC should leave opposition parties alone to handle their problems, they should stop using state institutions to fuel crises and divisions in other parties.. |

Usually they don't give people in detention chance to leave to do personal stuffs but they accord him that honor and then took him back to detention to answer for his case.
If anyone will regret anything, it will be the uncouth El-Rufai that use his mouth to land himself in more trouble thinking he can use sensationalism to evade EFFC probe.
El-Rufai is a nobody where Tinubu is roaring. In terms of political weight, El-Rufai is below Tinubu in all metrics. El Rufai is greater than Tinubu in integrity and honour. Afrojuju2017: Did you bother to read the text that you are quoting It explicitly states the "Federal court in Oyo has granted an ex-parte order" an order is not a final judgement, no one goes to court to seek an order and then operates based on the order, you go to court to get a substantive judgement.
You also ignored the part where it stated "pending the determination of the motion on notice"
It's the reckless granting of ex-parte orders that is the problem with the judiciary. Oya did you not see this one or you pretended not to see it? This is the one that came on November 14th, just a day before the convention.

The court only gave an order of Mandamus compelling INEC to attend the convention it didn't give a final judgement before November convention.
It was a tacit action by the judge who was only a few months to retirement. This is from the Nation newspaper November 5th 2025. Screenshots, couldn't get the link.

Afrojuju2017: There is no judgement that says that a court can not act as an abitrator where a party member approaches a court to pray that his fundamental rights as a member of a party have been infracted contrary to the constitution that binds that party.
One must remember that a political party is a public institution and as such can no abitratrily eject a member without appropriate party laws and process.
So this idea that a court can not interfere in party actions is flawed because the court can interfere in any actions taken by a political party to ensure such is in compliance to the party constitution what the court can not do is impose a choice on the party outside the party constitution, effectively the court can not manufacture a new set of rules for the party to resolve a complex situation even if done in good faith.
If I am a member of a political party and I feel cheated and I conclude I have defence under the party constitution I can go to court.
A political party and it's members do not enjoy immunity from court action that flouts the basic principles of our constitution I agree with this wholeheartedly. But the courts have judged contrary to this on very many occasions. And I have always argued with this. As late as last year the Supreme Court gave a judgement that the leadership of a party is strictly an internal party affair. (I will search it and give more details) Even in Wike's Rivers state sef. Emeka Beke was elected APC state chairman for a 3 year term in 2022. As soon as Tinubu took over, Ganduje obviously under the coercion of Wike unilaterally removed Emeka Beke who was validly elected and put in Tony Okocha. The excuse Tony Okocha and Wike were brandishing about then was that it was an internal party affair. |
