His children are rich and having the time of their lives.

Why not remain there and be waving until they hear that Tinubu has landed in France??

So, the gov is such powerful to resist impeachment even when his sins are glaring? I think you preach good governance and corruption - free society? angry
His sins are glaring?

The most glaring thing is that the members of the house of assembly that are supposed to impeach him already decamped from their party PDP and lost their seats automatically.

That is the most glaring thing my friend!

You boasted that not even Tinubu can remove Fubara buh when he did it, you started calling it illegal. I'm not a fan of illegality but in politics, only few games are rough are illegal. At the end some will cry while some will celebrate.
That's why I say you are naive.

Why didn't Fubara make that statement while he was still fighting and winning?

Person make political statement just to massage Wike ego, you are here saying even Fubara said

Guy you no sharp at all oohh.

See how politician dey take your head play tennis.

Just answer this question;;
Are you saying a Governor can be impeached and removed from office without the CJ if the President doesn't approve?

And I'm telling you that Wike would've impeached him whether legal or illegal. Tinubu just soiled his hand unnecessarily.
And I am telling you Wike could never impeach Fubara illegally with Tinubu's backing..

No state Governor can be illegally impeached without the backing of the President..

So stop saying Wike would have impeached Fubara illegally.

Rather say Tinubu would have impeached Fubara illegally..

Is it so hard to understand?

Just imagine Lagos assembly illegally impeaching Sanwo Olu without the signature of the CJ of Lagos and imagine that Tinubu likes Sanwo Olu!

Tinubu go just arrest all of them, lock them for kiri kiri.
Politics › Re: We Are Ready To Work With You - Rivers APC Tells Fubara by ddippset(m): 10:07pm On Sep 02, 2025
For emphasis;;

Those 27 lawmakers;;;

1. Went to Federal High Court and swore Affidavits confirming their defections.

2. Announced during plenary sitting and read their letters of defection...

3. Announced their defection in TV.

4. Had a welcome party at Polo club by the APC chairman.

5. Tinubu called them his new children in APC and he couldn't pursue them.

If these 27 lawmakers were on the side of Fubara in this fight, that same Supreme Court that told us there was no proper defection would have sacked every single one of them and sent them to prison for perjury...

1 million percent.

I rest my case!

Una too brag and that's why you dey always complain when things goes the other way. Who told you that they can't imoeach Fubara without the consent of the state's Chief judge?

What they needed was to sit, state his sins, and pronounce him impeached then the police (FG's institution) will finish the rest.

What next, he goes to court for interpretation, and they'll drag it till December 2027, and you know what the outcome of the judgement is- a mere paper work so never say never cause politics is a brutal game.
I understand your point.

An illegal impeachment can happen but a legal constitutional impeachment was never possible.

All that illegality you described above can only happen with Tinubu's approval.

That is why we say Tinubu saved Wike.
Politics › Re: We Are Ready To Work With You - Rivers APC Tells Fubara by ddippset(m): 9:41pm On Sep 02, 2025

You are arguing emotionally. The person I responded to said Tinubu saved Wike. There is. Toni g Fubara could have done to Wike because the SC judgement had rendered him impotent. That is the point I am arguing. I said no Tinubu did not save Wike because at that point there was nothing Fubara could do and he had snookered himself. You can argue that Wike could not have impeached Fubara and you may be right but also could be wrong but Fubara himself was snookered. Therefore to say it was Tinubu who saved Wike is wrong. That is the point I am arguing.

Please before you quote me, follow the trail of the conversation. The guy said If not for Tinubu, Fubara would have dealt with Wike and I said no. Fubara had become powerless as a result of the Supreme Court ruling. Whether or not Wike could have impeached Fubara is conjecture at this point and immaterial to the discussion.

There is a) Wike dealing with Fubara and b) Fubara dealing with Wike. 2 different things.

We know Fubara was powerless to deal with Wike, assuming but not conceding that Wike could not have impeached Fubara, At best the situation was a stalemate. So back to my original post Tinubu did not dpsave Wike as there was nothing Fubara could have done to Wike as a result of the SC ruling. He had already lost his battle with whether or not Wike could have impeached him.

I want to take you out, you want to take me out. We both hire assassins. There are 2 separate assasination attempts going on. I don’t know why people can’t get this basic concept.

You take out my assassin so my attempt to eliminate you has failed is separate from the assassin you sent to take me out is not up to the task and would have failed if a 3rd party did not arrange a truce.
grin grin grin

You're so naive..

Supreme Court this, Supreme Court that.

Which Supreme Court?

No be that one wey dey Abuja headed by a Lagos woman?
grin

If those 27 lawmakers who announced their defection during plenary sitting, announced it on TV and swore affidavits on oats at the Federal High Court that they had left the PDP..

If for instance those lawmakers were on Fubara's side and were against Wike, can you swear that the Supreme Court would not have sacked all of them?

If it was Wike and Tinubu that conducted that same LGA election that Fubara conducted do you think this same Supreme Court would have nullified that election?
😂

When we say Tinubu saved Wike, it goes beyond just the state of emergency he declared, lol.

It goes ahead ahead ahead..

Use your brain boy.

SO YES TINUBU SAVED WIKE.

Believe what you want. The facts are out there.

Did the Supreme Court rule that the suspended legislators must be recalled?
Did the Supreme Court rule that he must represent the budget and reconfirm all his appointees before the full assembly, did the Supreme Court say he was operating like a dictator
Did the Supreme Court rule there was no government in rivers state?
Did the Supreme Court rule that he was operating illegally by spending without a budget?

The thing about this world is that facts are sacred but we are free to believe what we want.
And when Fubara was in the process of implementing the Supreme Court judgement, the legislators started dodging and dodging cus they wanted to impeach him by every means, under the directive of Wike of course!

Then when they saw that the chief judge was firmly with Fubara and they couldn't carry out the impeachment, they plotted the state of emergency.

The SOE did not save Fubara from impeachment, they simply couldn't get the impeachment.

For an impeachment the state chief judge is just as important as the entire 27 legislators.

El Rufai is an intellectual who is a performer, an achiever and has got more integrity than the average Nigerian politician.

The only blemish you can find on his reputation is his tendency to be a religious bigot,,
Most Northeners including Shetima and Ribadu are bigots as well.

The only difference between is El Rufai and most Northern politicians is that hoesn't pretend about it, he embraces his bigotry with his full chest.

Most APC terrorists are just angry at El Rufai for very obvious reasons.

These are minions who were not on the scene when the likes of El Rufai were striving to get Tinubu elected.
Kwacham's greatest achievement in life is CONTESTING for senator and governor.

And who is Ribadu?

Ribadu himself would tell you he is not on the same level as El Rufai politically and intellectually.

I do not want emergency rule in Rivers State.

I want Fubara to be Governor of Rivers State and Wike to go to Abuja and govern Abuja.

What I do not want is Wike being Governor of Rivers State and being Governor of Abuja at the same time.

Victory for democracy. Rivers State has been even more peaceful since the state of emergency was declared than during Fubara's period. The biggest losers are ipob who were low-key wishing for violence in the state.
Just like the slave trade era.

Even in South Africa there was peace when the blacks succumbed.

But when the black began to demand their rights, there was no longer peace..

During Fubara there was a struggle to liberate the state from the clutches of one godfather.

Now the godfather has conquered the state with the help of the dictator general in Abuja.

So there is the peace of the graveyard.

You're kidding right..

"He won't bend to Tinubu"

How?
Lemme guess.
1.By telling Ibas not to step into Rivers state.
2.By warning Akpabio and the Senate not to dare to confirm the SOE by using voice vote to declare two thirds.
3. By running to the Judiciary warning them not to do the right thing, and not look at Tinubu's face.

Tell us how he must not to bend to Tinubu.

Since the money stopped flowing everyone minded their business and returned to their personals.
So what was he fighting for?

Being paid or not is not the issue;;

Assuming he was paid, does that have anything to do with fighting for Fubara or not?

Don't confuse yourself everyone gets paid..

For example,, all the lawyers that were fighting for Wike and Fubara, did they do it for free?
Were they not paid?

Another example,, even Wike himself..
Most of the people on his side that were fighting for him, did they do it for free?
Have they not been given appointments or settled with contracts?
Or even dashed some cash?

Ikenga was paid, but he was fighting for Fubara,,,

Rivers people look forward to a peaceful and hitch free election.
