Now isn't the time to groom a defender from la masia. We need a quick fix, bartra won't mature in another 2 years. I mentioned hummels, david luiz, kompany, thiago silva, vidic, dawson. Any experienced defender who isn't beyond 28 is ok for the next couple of years while bartra and co mature. Or should i add joseph yobo,kolo tuore,gallas,demicheles,cavalhoa,ferdinand? Who else can we buy? Maybe wes brown too, if he still exists.

Thiago silva is good, hummels is equally good. Even the vidic and kompany that you guys say are not good; if we had any of them this season we won't be where we are today.
