Alot of people has brought this issue to my office. It happens when fingerprint hardware stop functioning. The best you can do is to take it to carlcare or get a bad phone whose fingerprint sensor is working. Then it will be used to fix your own.

Another advice: Take it to a repair center. Ask them to disconnected the fingerprint. You will soon start experiencing hotness and hang on logo due to that little piece of hardware which is faulty.

On September 14th, I bought a new phone
This phone was the Pouvour 3, a tecno product
This phone has been giving good reviews (which I later found out that they were all false by tecno marketers.) And I fell for the reviews. I fell hard
Unboxed the device and the first turn off was that the phone overheats like mad.
The 5000mah battery was a phony.
And there were no fonts! Can you imagine?
Android 10 is out but I'm still stuck with android Oreo for months.
I spent 40k on this phone and it disappointed. Worst money I have spent. I have been scammed.

I regret buying tecno. Pes 2020 lags and PUBG lags too.

Infinix hasn't pushed update to S4 of recent so i don't think it's an update issue but she should screenshot and share her "Security and location" settings that's where the fingerprint management is. I need to confirm what she posted before i can suggest solutions to her.
