If you do mistake settle the dispute, shi shi you won’t get - keep your refund request open and let Aliexpress be the judge - if you settle the dispute, Aliexpress can’t step in to save you o

Not a mobile phone or Tablet again,

Seems none of us that ordered tablet or phone is getting it cos all items that moved passed airport these days are buds, watches, headphones, speakers, tv boxes etc. no mobiles or tabs.

Just keep a close tab on the package tracker. Two items I ordered, one since November last year and the other was in January this year, all arrived my doorstep yesterday. They had tracking number LPxxxxxxx and it was delivered by nipost. Just be hopeful.

Please if I may ask, what type of item are they? Mobiles, Tablets or other stuffs?

If so, what would you say about my package landing in airport feb 20, someone else package in this forum also landed feb 20 same time, same day, yet they got cleared like 5 days later, mine almost 2 weeks no update

The way NIPOST works can never be predicted - all forms of delivery timelines is majorly based on assumptions. All na to just hope one gets delivery of ordered items.

Update was provided on them, the ones he hasn’t gotten hasn’t been updated and I believe if the one that hasn’t been updated was already at the PO but hasn’t been updated, he’ll have collected it as well.

No one can say yet - chill till buyer protection expires, if not delivered by then, we can then assume all sort of things might have happened to it and if lucky, it can still get delivered after buyer protection ends.

But then, what’s happening is just proving what I have observed earlier right, so far what you ordered is either a phone or tablet, chances of it not getting delivered is high compared to smaller items like watches, EarPods, tv box or sticks etc.

Mine reached airport by Jan 30, till now not cleared, I’ve zeroed out on it, if dem like make dem deliver, if dem like make dem no deliver am - I’ll get refund last last.

I texted NIPOST other number on their site, they responded and said isn’t in the country yet, same response I got when I mailed them.

I messaged POS Malaysia, they said they can’t pinpoint its exact location cos it was only routed through them.

Btw, i messaged nipost on whatsapp and asked if there’s a way to speed the wait process at linehaul, don’t care even if i have to pay some random person, i choose need it to be legit and clear my stuff.
The responder gave me a number and said i should call it tomorrow, i asked how should i address the number when i called, they just said “call the number”

Could it be legit or sus?

I messaged EMS Nigeria one time like that, they gave me a number that belongs to NIPOST, it’s even on NIPOST site, I texted the number and till date not a single reply and all messages were delivered.

So probably they just might have some ways of fast tracking items if you do well and pay them (Naija Stuffs) 😃

BTW, this tracking is your Dec 13/14 items that arrived at airport, haven’t you gotten refunds for them?

Probably you didn’t see the dates well,

It’s a month and 3 days from airport arrival to handed over to last mile delivery and there’s about 80% chance it’s not a tablet or mobile phone he ordered.

see what im saying? I no it’s an update that is not showing yet, probably something is going on at ncs. It only shows that notification when there’s a new tracking update, but i checked and it hasn’t updated yet

It doesn’t mean anything, it’s just a routine notification from AliExpress.

Just have patience - there is still well enough time for them to deliver if they want to.

SpeedAF is very stable and trusted to some extent.

I still do not understand AliExpress rationale behind still using posting to deliver some items. Is it that they don’t some basic data checks to see the rate of delivered items to the rate of refunded items when sent via post especially to Nigeria?

I feel SpeedAF should be able to deliver most of the things sent via NIPOST so far the price of the item is under $300 which is generally duty free.

It’s a random package update - check postal ninja, if there’s an actual update, you’ll see it there.

Welcome to the wait! It’s always very swift for it to reach Airport but will be stuck there for God knows when - sometimes till the buy protection ends and you have to settle for Refund!

If possible go to your nearest PO and try padi one of them for there to be on the lookout for your item - you just might be lucky 😀

They don’t disappear yes, it’s with NIPOST 90% of the time they just don’t see it as their responsibility to deliver it promptly

It can't be tracked at Nipost. They will tell you it's an ordinary item e.g mails,letters and correspondences. Items that are trackable are the ones registered and starts with R e.g RE, RT, RX, RR, depending on the country it is coming from. The best they can advise you is to check your nearest post office and you may be lucky to find it. I don't know why AliExpress keep sending expensive and high risk items without registering them. Items gets missing or stolen and they make the customers dissatisfied and they keep on refunding. This is very bad of them

Major reason they keep using small items route to ship packages is cos of customs problem. Most of the mails ain’t meant to pass through customs - if they use registered package and it goes through customs, it might even be worse cos customs can charge up to x3 the cost of the item as customs duty. Unless you have receipt of purchase and you know someone that knows someone, one will pay huge fees as customs duty.

Some of the gadgets that are being shipped are declared as accessories if need be just to bypass customs cos they are duty free.

In some cases, NIPOST do collect customs charges on some items if it falls under what duties are meant to be paid for.
