FURTHER UPDATE ON THIS
Had some business around the Post office yesterday, so I decided to branch and check on my guys there.(as I sometimes do)
Upon entering the office, one of them was already holding out an item slip(must have seen me coming from the distance through the window).
I was at first surprised and confused(because I only have 2 active orders, with "custom clearance started" update since early April, which had not changed), so I asked to check the slip, but couldn't recognize the tracking number.
Had initially thought it was my Nothing buds 2a. Only when the attendant brought out the item to the counter that I figured out it was my tablet with December 13 “Arrived at local airport“ update.
I quickly checked AliExpress but there was no update. It was when I checked postal Ninja that I saw the update on April 21.
(I had stopped checking the tracking update on postal Ninja after it stated tracking stopped.
I had given up on the item being delivered, and wasn't monitoring the situation as I had gotten the tab elsewhere.)

I was not notified, I guess they felt I'm always aware of my item arrival.

As it stands, I have received 11 out of my 12 order from December. Only the Nothing buds 2a left.

Yea, TGG is weird, however, they delivered all 3 goods at different times when Temu sent my orders through them.

What’s their delivery timeline like? Is it like the normal 2 weeks SpeedAf does?

I have someone that made a Temu order this week and was assigned TGG, I don’t even know how to track the shipment

Hello everyone. Aliexpress process my refund very early today. But has no ARN number.

The last refund i collected was on feb 7 on a Saturday and i was credited in like 5 hours to my virtual $ card. It has ARN number.

But the case with this is different, no ARN visible where it’s meant to be

Omoh! Crazy to think you didn’t later get your tablet and had to settle for refund sha 😞

You are most likely not to pay customs duty tho.

So put your mind at rest.

2 weeks is still a lot tho, mine got cleared about a week to when I’ll be eligible for refund. So keep your hopes high, they can still have it delivered.

My December orders are just coming in randomly. Some over 100days already.
2 left out of 12. Once I pick them, it will take long before I have any business with Nipost.

Lemme guess, out of the remaining 2, the tablet is one of them right?

So since I took delivery of my tab, no one else has gotten their item that came through NIPOST?

The standard one not the one with matte glass,

Seems the one with matte glass will be the better option cos the glare on this is mad crazy - all my other devices have a matte finish

I’ve been battling the random Chinese languages in all sorts of weird places and I don’t want to covert it to global rom.

Like I said before, I am yet to encounter any Malaysia post item with duty

Some came with duty - reason why the woman feared mine might have duty was cos someone picked a delivery yesterday and was had to called back to come and pay duty, it was a POS Malaysia item too - a laptop - so yeah, some items pay duty.

I’ve picked up my order.

Price of my item was declared way lower about 20% of the actual cost, I don’t want to talk the price make e no be say dem Agent dey here (even if dem declare the actual price I should still be duty free) and the actual model was not written on my item - they just wrote tablet device and its weight - they delayed me a bit cos the women on the counter feared there might be duty on it, I didn't say anything I just allowed them do their thing and eventually all I paid was 500 Naira.

True, even with bad shipping experience, I don't give anything below 4 star, and add "Yet to receive the order" as comment.
Transferring your displeasure to someone who is not the source of your unpleasant experience is not logical.
Funny thing is some of them would not drop a review if they had received their order, but are quick to give a 1 star rating when things go south.

And when some of them get their items eventually they don’t go back to change those ratings or something.

🥲🥲 i learnt there was a fire on feb 23 in the server room, maybe mine was affected, but what i don’t understand is someone else that our item landed together, cleared 5 days later.

I remember saying i got a transit update on feb 21, 22 mornings, and most of u here said it was just a reminder, i know it wasn’t.

I do get aliexpress offers and promotions msgs but this one different, it led me straight to the tracking page, and after those 2 days, i never got any of the same notification again

Just have some form of hope - seems items have been getting cleared these days - at least, that is some positives so far.

But you know how customs sef fit dey move for here - I’ve asked them for customs declaration tho, so if dem wan ask anything, it’ll tender it to dem customs so I’ll be duty free 😃

I was quite suprised when i check twitter too, i guess we're just a drop in a bucket or most Nigerians don'0t use aliexpress anymore.

My thoughts exactly - most people order choice items now and maybe dem Dey avoid any form of shipping that has to go through NIPOST.

I called NIPOST customer service not too long and they told me my package is with Aba post office that I should go there to take it but Aba post office is saying that they don't have my package with them..
I just tire ohh

Probably send a person to Aba PO and let the person call their customer care, put it on loudspeaker and let the staffs at Aba PO listen to the call themselves - make we know who’s lieing.

The annoying part of something like this is if it’s updated on the tracking and you were not able to get the items from NIPOST, you cannot collect refund for the item after buyer protection ends.

This nipost issue is also making some stores stop shipping to nigeria, or for expensive items like phones. That lenovo store will probably soon stop shipping to Nigeria, I'm very sure of that.

Lots of stores are already doing that, either they quote shipping prices that’ll chase you away or straight up say they ain’t shipping to Nigeria except it’s little items - Nigerian reviews are denting the reputation of some of these stores.

Is there no way we can voice out our complaint to the Aliexpress management of the inefficiencies and unethical practices of Nipost.
This delays have continued and grown worse, because they've not been checked or cautioned.

Even if we all try to voice out, AliExpress might just resort to refunds and coupons to affected users and die the matter. I’ve checked twitter to see if there are other complaints by other people and to my surprise, there isn’t any - twitter will have been the best place to voice out on the inconsistency of NIPOST.
