I fully support your take on this issue. Unless SW governors act together, Mimiko's plan won't yield result. I doubt all these APC governors that keeps following Buhari upandan will do anything. What a shame. A very big shame. The fact that some of us support Buhari doesn't mean we should lose our common sense and lose track of the Yoruba interest. |

joborskill: I laugh at the ignorance displayed by many emotionally clouded Nigerians who are against the grazing bill proposed for the Fulani cattle rearers in all states of the Federation. Let's remember that like every other Nigerians, the Fulani's have the right to live and do their business in any part of the country. It is their constitutional right as Nigerians to own grazing fields in any choice location of the country so far it is paid for or provided by the government. We ought to applaud the move made by the federal govt because it will help in ending the unnecessary violence between the Farmers and the Herdsmen. By provision of grazing fields, the fulani's will be restricted to graze on an apportioned land provided by the federal govt. It will be a crime for them to graze their cattles on people's farms once the bill is passed into law. We should not castigate every fulani herdmen as killers because of the few bad ones among them. The incidence in Agatu and other parts of the country were perpetuated by cattle rustlers and not Fulani herdsmen. Cattle rustlers are armed terrorist who steal cattles from herdsmen and graze them around the country as a cover up for their terrorist acts. The ordinary Fulani herdsmen are peaceful people and will never harm innocent Nigerians. The fulani's do not move around with weapons but sticks to guide their cattle. I observed most critics of this Bill are from the eastern part of the country. The igbos need to realize that the federal govt owns all the land and territories in Nigeria and it can decide on how it chooses to use every inch of its territory. The fulani's have every right to graze in the SE and there is nothing any one can do about it. It is their right as a Nigerian just like the igbos are the most travelled tribe doing business in every part of the country. We cannot decide to restrict all igbo traders to the east because of the attitude of few bad eggs amongst them likewise the Fulani's. Most Nigerians criticized the federal govt when they decide to create ranches and import grasses from Brazil to graze these cattles so the herder wont roam about. Now the FG is shifting plans to create a grazing site for the herders in every state which is not a bad move by all standards. We are one Nigeria and we must learn to tolerate ourselves and live in peace. We must shun the politics of hatred and tribalism. Lord Luggard saw the potentials in our diversity before merging us up to form this great country. We must not allow ethnicity to cloud our sense of judgement when the federal govt proposes law that will favour every Nigerian. We must support the grazing bill so the Fulani's can do their business in peace. BTW i am a Yoruba man from the SW. proudly Nigerian You have deep inferiority complex. 96% of projects thesis written by Nigerians (Final Year students, MSC, PhD students) are laden with plagiarism. Prior to writing projects, our lecturers here don't take the time to educate students on academic writing and academic honesty. Students just do google things, copy and paste without referencing where the idea is gotten from.
Truth is - at undergraduate and MSC level, just a modicum of write up is expected to have originated from your own thoughts and ideas while about 80% of your work is expected to be referenced because you're not solving any problem per se. it is at the PhD level that 90% of your work should be original. But this is not the case in Nigeria. |

AreaFada2: Haba! The accusation is too much na. Both have marital duties. Something they should/would have learnt preparing for marriage. If any party cannot fulfil that role, he/she should naturally seek help.
First there are things to know: was there sex before marriage? Was the marriage arranged? Was she ever keen on sex? Has it got worse since having a baby? Does she do a physically exhausting job? Has she any history of having suffered molestation? Does she suffer from pain during sex? Is she depressed? Is she even falling out of love?
These can help you see the way forward, if you might need professional medical/psychological help.
Marriage is not always rosy. Challenges: sexual, financial and all can come up at any time. Best post I've seen. Thumbs up sir. I like your approach to this issue. This is maturity at play. The elders have spoken. |

So annoying Don't mind all these Yeye ladies castigating you as if you're the culprit here. In as much as I don't have sufficient information to reach a conclusion, your wife might actually be the culprits here. She's too frigid, unromantic and insensitive to your needs. It takes two to tango. Why should the man be the only one to be romantic, to initiate sex, talk to her, pet her and all like she did the op a favour by marrying her. Truth is your wife is simply unromantic and rigid. I'm sure those times you've had sex with her, she had just lied there like a log of wood. Marriage is team work. It's high time Agip moved offshore just like Mobil, Total, and Chevron. Leave the onshore assets for the indigenous operators. Shell was very wise to divest from their onshore assets. All the NDeltans thug want is to real where they did not sow. Despite the huge amount of money invested on sustainable development of their region, they'd rather want money to be shared at the expense of development of their region. Militants have been given amnesty, and yet some have risen again from nowhere wanting to claim free money. NDeltans, which way? |

Igobang: I couldn't agree more but don't u think, perhaps for Nigeria to progress, we should give them a referendum to choose Biafra? Left to me, I can't wait for u to have your Biafra. However, Buhari is the president and he swore an oath to protect the territorial integrity of the country. Boko haram too tried to declare their own country, and they were dealt with massively. Why should Biafra be an exception? There's no secession clause in the constitution. And the president's dos and don'ts are guided by the constitution. Biafra would have been best achieved during GEJ administration because he's your 'brothet' but what happened to your voices then? They suddenly went nut I guess because u were feeding fat on Nigeria's wealth then. If you couldn't achieve Biafra under GEJ, why should Buhari be an exception? |
