I think you did the right thing in throwing her away. |
Poster, Learn from my own mistake. That woman can never change. She has not changed at all. That was how my own wife left me for a year plus without any genuine cause. She came back begging after one year and some months. I accepted her back after many people came to begged me. Three weeks afterwards, she was back at her old habbits. Just yesterday I called and told her that I am throwing her out if she make any slightest mistake. To tell you the fact, women never changes. Eja to ti gbe ko se ka. Beware!!! |
I want to thank you all for your advice. You are all wonderful. I think HISCHILD really take the time to give out the quotations from the Bible. Thank you all. what i will do is login to Nairaland site and let my friend read all your advices himself. I'll sure get back to you as soon as there is any development. |
Fellow Nairalanders, Please, what advise will I give my friend who complained that his wife will not talk to him in the house? They have been married for Nine years and he has been trying to pretend that all is well, but he says he couldn't bear it any longer. The complaint is that they live as cat and mouse in the house. The wife doesn't talk, play or discuss with him. Their only routine communication is good morning (in the morning) or welcome (When the hubby comes back from work). But she cooks his food and serves him when she feels like, not when he needs it. No any other form of communication exist between them in the house. It is only the wife and their only child or the hubby and the child. When the wife goes to work, she comes back whenever she feels like, and will never give any explanation even if asked why she comes late. When I met and asked her why she behaves like that, she claimed her husband receives calls from women in her presence but the husband claimed she always assumed any women that calls him is his girl friend, even if it is his business partners called. The husband claimed he has begged her not to behave like that in the house several times to no avail. Anytime the husband tells people to help talk to his wife (like myself) she claimed he is revealing the affairs of the family to the outsiders. Now, the hubby is fed up and told me he needs a divorce. Should I tell him to go ahead with the divorce? |
To me, that is not marriage. At least there got to be trust and love. If it happens to me, I will divorce the wife straight away. Reason been that such woman can kill the husband. (O le gbabode) Please borrow me the English of Abode. Such a woman is not fit to be one's wife. Haba! Kilode!!! |
ode - remo, i don't think you are a politician, which Ogun will ACN sweep? Go and sit down bo, PDP own Ogun now and forever. |
hei man, watch your tongue. |
Food For Taught by Otunba Soji Badejo DR. BASHIRU ADEYEMI AKINYEMI GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANT FOR OGUN STATE. It is an obvious fact that Ogun State is a key player in the Socio-economic development of our dear nation. The State had equally contributed immensely to the political stability attained so far in Nigeria. It’s Socio-political and economic sacrifice in our democratic struggles, are enormous and shall forever remain evergreen in the nation’s history. It is in this context that the Gateway State deserves a seasoned, tested, experienced and enlightened mind to take over the mantle of leadership at the state level. Consequently, Dr. Bashiru A. Akinyemi rightly fit into these criteria. If experience, academic attainments, exposure to local, national and international developments and policy issues is anything to go by, Dr. Bashiru Akinyemi certainly qualifies to be the next Executive Governor of the gateway state (Ogun State, Nigeria). By providence, he has a very rich family pedigree and stint across the isles of progressives and conservative political school of thoughts. Dr. Bashiru Akinyemi has a great passion for people-oriented programs as well as manpower development side enabling environment for Socio-economic development. This American trained attorney and economist knew what it takes to ensure meaningful livelihood. If given the opportunity, the gateway state, no doubt, will continue the sustainable development. He is a man that belief in continuity of existing developmental efforts as well as putting in place needed expansion in terms of coverage. After listening to him, one was left without a doubt the impressive goals he already had in his blueprint for our great state. The State’s closeness to the nation’s commercial capital is a strong conviction on his belief that Ogun State potential is yet to be fully tapped. I was marveled having been privy to the lofty developmental objectives he has in stock. Holistically, is positively disposed to working with the Federal Government on infrastructural developments. Special efforts shall be placed on roads construction and maintaining the existing ones. He’s of the new that a healthy working arrangement between all tiers of government, the entire citizenry will benefit immensely and have a sense of belonging. Having cut part of his political linkage under Pa Abraham Adesanya while he was part of the associates in the chamber and by extension to Chief Obafemi Awolowo, he definitely knew what the people want, how to carry everyone along, and mostly allow more participation in governance from the grassroots to the top. To this end, therefore, the community development Associations and the Traditional Council will be strengthened. He is a man that attests to the great achievements of the current administration under Otunba Gbenga Daniel as well as past administrations in the state. He abhors no room for bulk-passing, blame sharing, political acrimony or media hype. His philosophy is let your efforts speak for you. Governance is about quality service delivery. These are some of his watchword and philosophy. Please Visit www.akinyemi4gov.com for more information. by deagleng. 08050942373

Sissy, My wife is yet to retun to the house as of today August 8th 2010. By the look of things, I don't think she will ever return. She packed everything she got, including brooms. Yes, I want to go ahead with the adoption as soon as i get another lady to marry. |
Poster were you totally upfront with your wife about your medical condition before you married her? or was the low spermatozoa count only diagnosed after you got married? My Reply: I did not know that I had a low spermatozoa then, I just discovered this this year. When you got married to your wife, why didn't you insist that you wanted her daughter to live with you; after all you are the man of the house and your descision should have been final especially in circumstances like this. My Response: I did insisted, but she was blunt, and to let peace reigh at home, I have to let her have her way. Have you been 100% supportive of her & her daughter over the years? So for example do you attend her school parent teachers association meetings, know her friends, go to visit her without your wife etc. Note that I am not talking about just sending money once a month to her but to consistently actively play the step dad role even though she doesn't live with you. Reply: We live miles away, but I do give her calls and send recharge cards to her but my wife did not kinow of this. When you guys started trying for a baby of your own after you got married, what was your initial attitude/reaction? and what were your family members reaction to your wife over the delay? Reply: At first I thought she was the one with problems but after several medical tests and nothing was diagonized in her I also went for medical test, then it discovered I am the cause of our delay in child bearing. My parents were not happy about this and they keep on disturbing me to marry another wife. But i told them that my wife was not the cause, but I myself. So they left us alone. I am asking all these questions/making these points because it comes across like your wife is being spiteful and you need to work out why & resolve any issues if any before trying to work on her to change her mind. Reply: All effort to let her reason prove abortive, even members of my Church talked to her but she was blunt. If your woman truly loves you, she will at least give you a very good reason for her refusal for the adoption especially as she knows how important it is to you. The fact that its "business as usual" and she can rest easy knowing the torment you are going through over this issue suggests that you may knowingly or unknowingly somehow over the years have hurt her deeply. Response: I think she did not love me. For example, she has never given me any support since we got married. She was always nagging and will not talk to me at home. Any lady she sees me with is my girlfriend ther so many reasons that I cannot express here. |
Thank you My Sister, And to the rest house, I am 40 years old and not 24, i think there is a mix up somewhere but I have corrected that in my profile. Thank you all for all your advice. God Bless you all |
Alymxyr, Silence is the best answer to a f, Your contribution shows the type of person you are. O wa lara e. |
Thank you Siena, But my wife did not allow the step daughter to live with us not even visiting us. She stays with her parents somewhere far from us. But all the same I with work on your advice. |
Thank you Alyxm or what is your name. But mind your language, as sensible as your contribution is, yet you spoilt it with calling me fool. We are not fighting here, I just need advice from sensible NL not worthless people. |
Thanks Adetoru, Even though I love her, it seems she did not love me. We've been married for 9 years without a kid, I recently discovered that i have Low sperm Count, I advice her to let us adopt a child, she refused, yet she has a daughter while she was in secondary school, the girl just past out of secondary school recently. I now seek the advice of people on this forum, when she read that, she packed out of my house. i pleaded with her she refused. For your information, this is the fourth time she is packing out of my house. I dont think I will want her back. |
Thanks House for all your advices on the adoption/my wife palaver. Truly there are still sensible people on Nairaland. But the latest news now is that my wife packed out of her matrimonial home when she read my submission on Nairaland. She packed out on 21st July. To be candid, I have not asked her to leave. I even pleaded with her, but she said no. But the irony there is that I still love her very much. I pleaded with her not to pack, but she says she had made up her mind. Don’t you think this is an avenue for me to remarry and adopt the child? |
Well Aisha, I need serious advice from this forum and i want you to give it straight. I am divorcing her anyway because she is just selfish. |
I have tried some drugs and local herbs. My wife could not give any reason for her refusal. What do i do? |
Thanks Aisha for your advice. I've done all you suggested and my wife remains adamant. She has her own child, yet she doesn't want me to have any. I am thinking of divorcing her. What do you suggest? |

Recently after, thorough medical examinations, it was discovered that I have low sperm count, yet my wife did not cooperate with me on the said adoption. Advice me, what do I do? |

Please Nairalanders, What Can we do about these policemen on the road from Idiroko to Sango Ota in Ogun State? There are about 15 Checking points of policemen. Before, they collects #20 from motorists, later they change it to #40. But now they collects #80 from commercial motors. These made transport fare very expensive. Is it a crime to be born or live in a border area? Please Help us out oooooooooooooo |
