It's really been hard trying to purchase stuffs from the Internet true legit means. Most bidding sites and online stores put stern warnings that bidders and buyers from AFRICA and most particularly NIGERIA are not allowed to participate .
What is your own suggested solution to this yahoo boyz stigma.

Is true, even here in Holland. A dutch online marketplace were people buy and sell has banned Nigerians. You see advertisements of mobile phones and in the subject written: No shipping to Nigeria!
Anyway, that is why we decided something must be done. We are working hard to launch our website www.2deal4real.com as from october. We are serious! The website will be both for Naija's at home, but also in diaspora. Our goal is to bring sellers and buyers together, no matter where they are. Since it seems we are not welcome to most online marketplaces, soon we will have our own! The best thing: Most of our services will be for free. I am just wondering wich nairalanders are making their money on sites like Ebay. I use to sell clothes (new and used), carstickers of the Nigerian flag, carparts, rugs, books and more. Anything I think I can sell, I sell. Like to hear what you use to sell.

I have been doing business on  Ebay for years and it works out very well. The problem is that many sellers on Ebay (at least here in The Netherlands) don't want to do business with Nigerians (in Nigeria). And quess why,  My advise: if you know a (reliable) person in US/UK with an ebay account, let him purchase it for you. But you can also wait till october 1st 2006, because than Nigeria (and Nigerians in diaspora) will have their own kind of Ebay: www.2deal4real.com. Stay tuned!
