To interest you, 5 of my friends with no history applied for Canada tourist visa Oct 12 and did biometric 18th, of Oct. Got a request to submit passport Dec 22.



I won't like to talk further about mine...

But all you need to understand is that you have to submit necessary documents to enable you get a desire request.


Also often times when your appointment is taking to long before getting response from them it is 90% certain you will be granted Visa. But people who get refuser get it very fast within few days/weeks.

When did those your acclaimed friends submit and did biometric?

You can never submit ur application on oçt 12 and get date for biometric attendance on oçt 18, that is pure lie.... don't take us for a fool here,we are bot a kid....

I have been asked to submit my original passport for my visa.
I applied for visitors visa from the UK in August 2023 to attend a conference.

I only have UK student visa on my naija passport. I haven't visited any other country in my life.

I submitted my 20hrs per week 4 months pay slips as my POF alongside my bank statement. I barely earn up to £300 weekly and I had less the £2k in the statement I submitted

The conference in question was from a reputable body and in my field of study. The organisers gave me an invitation letter to use for the visa application and they refunded me the conference fee when it was obvious I couldn't attend the conference due to delays with my visa.
Note: the conference date has passed.

Enrollment letter from my uni
Conference invitation letter
Payslips
Halifax bank statement
My naija passport I think.

the way some of you come here to talk rubbish ehn. I came to Canada as a pr in june 2020. I stayed outside canada for a total of 39 days. So by end of July I completely the 3 years. Applied for citizenship and will become a citizen this month.Desist from putting mouth in things you don’t know 🤣

If the country no favour you wait for the 3 years. Become a Canadian citizen. Use the passport to move to USA, Singapore, Dubai etc. A colleague from 9ja just moved to the USA with same company. Got a big salary increase. The Canadian passport is still a good deal 😁

You cannot become a Canada citizen in 3 yrs,you can get permanent resident after staying for 2yrs,full citizen with Canada passport after staying for 5yrs,not 3yrs.....
