That's not true.
This girl is 18years old and she must have gotten married at early age below 18. This is very common in Northern Nigeria.
She must have been experiencing torture and abuse from the husband. When things like this happens, we tend to blame the gender in skirt and ignore possible events that could have led to that action.

From "gender agenda", 76% of underage housewives in North experience abuse from all angles from the so called husbands. 16% lost their lives in the abuse.
This is why government is clamouring for equal rights when it comes to women in the society.

Come to think of it, wetin 18years dey find for husband house? This husband sef fit be around 50+ of age.

You see this underage marriage is a very serious issue, mostly in the North. That's where you will see 10years old getting married.

At times I just laugh at some things about Tribalism and Religion. There is no word as "Muslim North''. It makes no sense at all.
It is only when propaganda and sentiments wants to play out that you hear such words. Imagine words like "Muslim East", "Christian West", etc

TBH our healthcare system in Nigeria these days is nothing to write home about. I think Agbo and local herbs will eventually be a good option in this country. Hospitals/Clinics now are like death traps.
Patients will not die before going to hospital but immediately they get there....... they kpai! Hospitals now are like killing machines. Quackery, carelessness, "money-first" syndrome, lack of facilities, JAPA moves , F.G. inconsistency on workers welfare,etc .....all these are issues.
