I already read it up. The issue here is same thing that has discouraged other states like Delta, Rivers, and Lagos. To transmit to a wide range of locations the IPP needs the expensive infrastructure of Transmission Line Network. The less forward thinking regions are the ones holding us back here. South africa's Power ministry along with Eskom has already started large scale investment in Nuclear generation despite the already enormous nuclear electricity generation south africa currently commands . That is what i expect from my power minister.

Imo state university teaching hospital was on the list of the ten best teaching hospitals in Nigeria, better than Anambra State university teaching hospital, until three years ago when Rochas Okorocha hatched his plan to relocate IMSUTH from Orlu to bribe Owerri, so that Owerri shall not raise eyebrows over his private Eastern Palm University which Okorocha as governor built in his hometown, Ogboko, in Ideato South Lga.
Okorocha started hatching his plan by refusing to reconstruct the road to IMSUTH; making IMSUTH lose accreditation for some courses; frustration of the doctors and allied health workers in IMSUTH, building diagnostic centres in Owerri, diagnostic centres which could have boosted IMSUTH in Orlu.

He believes people don't follow his footsteps.

Enugu(capital) remains the most developed city in SE. Neither Awka nor Owerri come close to this city. To be frank, comparing Awka and Enugu is like comparing Onitsha and Lagos. Enugu's beauty, serenity and class of people do not measure up with 'developing' Awka. Precisely, where in Awka is developed: Okupono, Unizik Juntion, Amawbia, Eke-Akwa and its environs? Or is it the touted 'New Awka', which is still at its nascent stage? Where are neatly paved walkways, adorned with greens in Awka?

Fellas, I am not from your region, but it's obvious I know more than you guys- yeah, I travel a lot. And on the other remark on who developed Enugu, It's up to you dudes to decide. But please, do not paint your gross ignorance around here by hallucinating that Awka is more developed then Enugu (Capital).

Anambra, in its entirety, is the most developed 'state' in the East. However, if you narrow down your comparison by looking at sub-cities, all your cities (towns) come next to Enugu(capital) and Owerri. But it is in my firm conviction that Awka will overtake Owerri soon, only if Rochas keeps with his style of leadership and your rich kinsmen start thinking... #LetBuildAwka#
