I don't think you capable of enlightening me. I am well aware of the Rivers, Delta, and Lagos challenges that predates the Nnaji challenge. I bet you don't understand the deep details being paraded here.
I'm not in any contest or in any drama being paraded here biko.
I only correct the anomalies being paraded here when I see one. Which I have done in your own case.

Everybody that know Awka will attest to it even the haters.
But sometimes you just have to play along with the haters just for them to leave your neck so you will be less disturbed and remain focused.

I already read it up. The issue here is same thing that has discouraged other states like Delta, Rivers, and Lagos. To transmit to a wide range of locations the IPP needs the expensive infrastructure of Transmission Line Network. The less forward thinking regions are the ones holding us back here. Time will fail me to go back and dig deep into my own posts and provide you with my own take on this similar issue.
I have done my own part in enlightening you.

I have nothing else to contribute than being happy for the Abians and the environs, they need it for their business to flourish.

Legal Issues can always be resolved in court, as long as Geometric power is on the side of the law they SHOULD win.
The real heavy duty here is the creation of the infrastructure and funding .Legal issues can always be resolved
Yes, fashola did well here but sorry if i don't clap too much, with some airheads already trying to count it as one of his legacy projects as an act of desperation when the man has not even added a single MW yet.
South africa's Power ministry along with Eskom has already started large scale investment in Nuclear generation despite the already enormous nuclear electricity generation south africa currently commands . That is what i expect from my power minister.
OK sire. You had a point though.

You must be high.
What has fashola got to do with a company investment that predates his govt.?
Let him go and add 1MW to Nigeria's current generating capacity and then maybe you can worship the clueless man then.

Imo state university teaching hospital was on the list of the ten best teaching hospitals in Nigeria, better than Anambra State university teaching hospital, until three years ago when Rochas Okorocha hatched his plan to relocate IMSUTH from Orlu to bribe Owerri, so that Owerri shall not raise eyebrows over his private Eastern Palm University which Okorocha as governor built in his hometown, Ogboko, in Ideato South Lga.
Okorocha started hatching his plan by refusing to reconstruct the road to IMSUTH; making IMSUTH lose accreditation for some courses; frustration of the doctors and allied health workers in IMSUTH, building diagnostic centres in Owerri, diagnostic centres which could have boosted IMSUTH in Orlu.

He believes people don't follow his footsteps.
Oga akpotu, according to Abagworo who for years has been hinting the intention of Okorocha to remove IMSUTH from Orlu to Owerri.
Why can't I find imsuth in top 5 state university teaching hospital in Nigeria?

Enugu(capital) remains the most developed city in SE. Neither Awka nor Owerri come close to this city. To be frank, comparing Awka and Enugu is like comparing Onitsha and Lagos. Enugu's beauty, serenity and class of people do not measure up with 'developing' Awka. Precisely, where in Awka is developed: Okupono, Unizik Juntion, Amawbia, Eke-Akwa and its environs? Or is it the touted 'New Awka', which is still at its nascent stage? Where are neatly paved walkways, adorned with greens in Awka?

Fellas, I am not from your region, but it's obvious I know more than you guys- yeah, I travel a lot. And on the other remark on who developed Enugu, It's up to you dudes to decide. But please, do not paint your gross ignorance around here by hallucinating that Awka is more developed then Enugu (Capital).

Anambra, in its entirety, is the most developed 'state' in the East. However, if you narrow down your comparison by looking at sub-cities, all your cities (towns) come next to Enugu(capital) and Owerri. But it is in my firm conviction that Awka will overtake Owerri soon, only if Rochas keeps with his style of leadership and your rich kinsmen start thinking... #LetBuildAwka#
I agree 100%
I'm not arguing
Awka is developing with the speed of light that can catch up with Lagos in a matter of time.
Awka is the new emerging city.

Abagworo:
Is hotel now signs of development? The important thing is tbe badic infrastructure which Awka lacks completely. No roads and portable water.
Guy hope you know that it is only the Ifite road that leads to Unizik that you are snapping from different angles and portions...

You know what, we appreciate your effort in helping us call out the government for our stead, I pray they now understand we are serious when we were complaining before it went this worst.

As for portable water, you will know that Anambra doesn't lack portable water as no report of patient with cholera or any other associated water borne disease for quite a long time.

So stop your propaganda as you just making fool out of your old age.

Okay, let me play with your ignorance a little and help you derail your thread; however, to be candid, I loved the thread before your people started attacking each other.

So tell me, in what ways are you better?

Please do not tell me you developed everywhere in Nigeria while neglecting your home.

Explain yourself as if your are my supervisee defending your thesis: flaws, lies, overt ignorance of the facts, inferiority complex due to fear, etc., are all allowed. Go ahead, tell me what makes you or your region better? Be constructive with your arguments, even when it is overt that your are not sounding apt.

Go ahead!
Guy to tell you the truth I don't understand you,
So if he start answering you now some imo touts will start saying Anambra are boastful people, arrogant and are supremacists.
I don't want that so stop bringing in confusion by fanning the Ambers of division among brothers.

We are better the little way we are and are not comparing or competing with anyone or tribe or state or country and neither are we proving it to any asshole. I can't fathom your business with imo and Anambra rift or what you stand to gain.

Why not get lost and disappear from this thread already. huh

@dEastActivist, I love your kind; you are truly patriotic.

Maybe you should call your people to order.........I am neither your problem nor target.

As for the Afonja thing, do not bring it up! I did not force your people seeking a life of comfort and security outside the East. But if your house is in order, supported by unity and development, the East is a place to be. Take Enugu for example.
Of course I'm patriotic is engraved in me if you must know, and also you will never be the problem if you had stayed put and let sister state sort themselves out.

I will consider that at the boldened.

Comfort outside east? I tend to disagree
Anambra alone has edifices for relaxation all around the hinterland built by individuals no state govt funding, this is something you can't take away from them, they huzzle overseas but chill at home when the need arises. This can also be said for other states in the SE, you can take iheanacho for example, the star boy. The first place he is building his mansion is in his hometown. So that's it.

Igbos are seen everywhere huzzling but don't take away the east(home) from them as they don't joke with it.

Nigeria as a country is underdeveloped so don't make it seem like is an east problem BC the problem (development lapses) can be felt in every corner of Nigeria even in the capital Abuja let alone Lagos or Kano.

When buhari was appointing his northern friends...

The APC zombie afonjas said "buhari has the right to choose who he is comfortable to work with, am in support, sai buhari"
They also made comment like this. " As long as is in the interest of the country, am in for it"

So for this reason, any zombified afonja especially tinubu dogs that will condemn buhari is a renowned hypocrite and a nitwit that should be kicked to oblivion.

'Emotional insecurity'! Uhmm, I kind of love the usage of the term. But trust me, I don't experience any from this side of the planet. So tell me, how does it feel like to experience one? Because from the posts of your people (I did not post those things up there), anyone from that
region (SE) is bound to experience a form of this emotional insecurity you talked about, dude.

I live in a clime where there is love in diversity. And for the remark I made earlier about Imolites being more civil; yeah, they are. Go look up reputable corporate Staff profile, you have them well represented than any State in the East
At the bolded, We are proud of them.
We are first Igbo before state divided us, so is not even bad acknowledging the root.
Even you cannot differentiate between an Anambra origin from an imo origin if you see one tomorrow except you ask.

As for being emotional insecure, I have seen a lot of it here on nairaland being displayed by your comrades. When you hit on them hard and the pressure is too much to bear, They will always result in spiting you with their superstitious belief thinking that's your weakness just to feel secure and achieve what I call fake orgasm Just like you are doing now.

But what am assuring you is this, this Same IMO people are first of all Igbo, and they will be the first to smash your afonja head on the floor when the need arises...

Keep on massaging your new imo short term love till it dawn on you real soon.

As for the Ibadan qualification, I laugh at your gross ignorance. No wonder Imolites are more civil and knowlegeable than the Omambalas!
Brother why are you pouring your emotional insecurities?
Oh to feel better?
Or to make the IMO people side you ?

Anyway is for those that will buy into your gimmick.
Igbos are one but nah time will tell you when you go against the Igbo interest and watch the same people pound on you as an afonja irrespective of state.

As for now enjoy your new imo ally.
