Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why You Are Not Getting Called After Applying For Jobs by deb(m): 8:28am On Sep 04, 2017 |
bizza45: Not in all cases. So many people I know including myself have gotten employed by multinationals and we knew nobody or got any connections there. My first advice to young applicants desiring to penetrate the big shots is to first develop Themselves land become too good to be ignored. It's already a competitive world. Corrupt politicians children and relatives all also want to work and they have their advantage, you now have to create your own advantage by developing and learning to be skillful at your trade. Learn to volunteer or take jobs from smaller companies to get experience. No established industry will employ a rookie except they are planning to train from scratch, and even at that you still need some experience to be considered or get that edge that you need. |

Hala: See this one giving excuses for armed robbers. Are you encouraging people to go and steal whenever they are jobless? Only you are responsible for the state of your life. If you are jobless today it is your fault and not government. And until you begin to have such mindset that you're responsible for where you are, you will never rise to great reckoning in life. There are people in worst situations in life than you or any of those bazstards killing people around, yet they turn out better because they decided to be responsible for their own success. There are people with lesser opportunities than most of these lazy people going about stealing yet they took their destinies in their own hands and created a success story for themselves. It all starts with deciding with what to do with your life and be ready and focused enough to achieve it. Successful people think in terms of long term and work towards it with short term daily achievement. One step after the other. If you don't know what to do, go into farming, laundry or sell something act a middle man for services and be paid commission. There is no excuse to steal in this life it is just sheer laziness. Nigeria youths want the lifestyle of wizkid and Olamide and they think those guys were just lucky. No you are wrong. What you see of them is a result of hardwork. Olamide and wizkid did not become whom they are overnight. When you have a purpose and you work hard at it, your success will announce you and it will seem like an overnight success in the eyes of a lazy man. You have to earn the life that you want and you can't get it by stealing and robbing people. 4 Likes |

b Adaowerri111: Lol. Blatant lie. Did you watch the same video? The officer escaped, I am sure and the body language of the robber proved it because as a trained officer even though he ran out he kept on shooting and unsettled the stvpid robber. It was obvious that the robber wasn't getting a clear shot at him as he was also afraid for his own life. Having one of his colleagues down also was a psychological disadvantage for him. I suspect that the guy at the back of the car is fotified with bullet prevention charms else he would have been the first to go down as the officer bullet shattered the car mirror twice with follow up shootings. 3 Likes |

moblix: I tire o. They have forgotten that most of the upper grades in Nigeria are paid for and the guys with lower grades are usually the once who read and did not get the favour of corrupt lecturers. We deliberately refuse to understand our own environment in Nigeria. If anyone wants the best for his business in a highly corrupt society like ours, its best to ask all applicants to put their first class papers aside and measure the true IQ and level of emotional intelligence through series of interviews and test/essay. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Daddyboy012: So easy to twist the brain of a Nigerian. Later they will say that Nigerians are smart people. I mean, just look at the statement I quoted above; that is the level our intelligence has been reduced to. I will try to educate you the real illiterates and ignoramus. First, I will ask you a simple question. What does the concept of leadership mean to you? I ask this question because an average Nigerian youth who makes the loudest noise don't have an iota of an idea of what leadership truly means. What they think in essence about leadership is equal to occupying a "big" position and authority which gives them the "bossy" Master and the follower-slave mentality. However, true leadership is borne out of the influence you wield and the respect you command from people across board irrespective of your place or position anywhere you find yourself. True leaders are visionaries, they pave the way for others and their natural followers are happy to respect them, and carry out their orders without any exertion of force on them. Leaders are usually successful in their own right and so they don't demand respect the way a Governor Ajimobi the "constituted authority" maestro was seen demanding from LAUTECH students. We need to clearly draw the line between Leadership and rulership. The reason why we are where we are today is because we have not managed to produce any true leader in Nigeria. Therefore, those of you casting aspersions on TuFace need to really keep your mouths shut and face the reality that everything rises and falls on leadership. Before you exonerate PMB from all the corruption going on around him especially with the so called bail out fund that some state governors have been alleged to be embezzling already, you need to ask one reasonable question, if they (governors) truly have the fear and respect of PMB will they have the audacity to go ahead and siphon the state bailout funds? Therefore, for anyone to now ask TuBaba why he is not going against the governors instead of PMB is a very stvpid and highly irresponsible question. Last time I checked, tubaba don't need Nigeria anymore than majority of the foools who are castigating and calling him illiterate. |

bhouze: It is rather a shame on your government that they cannot provide ordinary electricity for people that want to do the show. If you are a business man who need to cut cost and you intend to do a show like big brother, will you rely on PHCN or spend excessively on fueling for 3months while you can easily go to a location where electricity is readily available? Those guys are not stvpid like most of you. It's high time we started demanding from our government to do their job and leave private companies doing everything creatively to survive in the harsh economy. They are still managing to get your citizens employed so what is your problem? Think, think, think. And what is wrong with NTA starting a show that will captivate the entire Africa? They are just big for nothing bunch of mediocres. 4 Likes |
