Pets / What Is Unique About "Pure White Siberian Husky, With Blue Eyes". by Debbie34: 10:57am On Jun 14, 2023
A pure white Siberian Husky with blue eyes possesses several unique characteristics:

Coat Color: The pure white coat of a Siberian Husky is relatively rare compared to other color variations in the breed. It stands out and adds to their aesthetic appeal.

Eye Color: Blue eyes are not very common in the Husky breed, making them a distinctive feature. While many Huskies have brown or multi-colored eyes, the striking blue eyes of a pure white Husky can captivate attention and give them a unique appearance.

Visual Contrast: The combination of a white coat and blue eyes creates a visually striking contrast. This contrast enhances the overall beauty and allure of the Husky, making it even more visually distinct and eye-catching.

Cultural Significance: In some cultures, the white coat and blue eyes of a Husky are associated with myths, legends, and symbolic meanings. They may be seen as symbols of purity, beauty, or even spiritual significance.

Pets / How Often Does A Female Lion Take Care Of Her Cubs After Giving Birth To Them? by Debbie34: 7:15pm On May 20, 2023
A female lion is truly a dedicated mama, going above and beyond for her adorable cubs. From the moment they're born, she devotes herself to their well-being, creating a den where they can bond and grow. Those cubs have quite the appetite, let me tell you! They guzzle down up to half a gallon of milk every day, keeping their bellies full and happy.

As the cubs mature, their lioness mama becomes their teacher and mentor. She imparts valuable survival skills, teaching them the art of hunting and how to handle those pesky hyenas. It's like a lioness boot camp, preparing them for the wild.

But here's the fascinating part: the lioness doesn't do it alone. Oh no, she has her very own support system, her pride. The other lionesses in the pride lend a helping paw, taking turns babysitting the cubs and even producing milk themselves. It's like a feline co-op, where everyone pitches in to raise those adorable little ones.

So, you see, a female lion's love and dedication extend far beyond birth. She nurtures, protects, and guides her cubs for several months, giving them the best possible start in life. It's a beautiful and heartwarming sight to witness a lioness caring for her precious pride.!

The Wolverine and the Honey Badger are two of the most aggressive and tenacious animals in the animal kingdom. Despite their different environments, both animals share some similar characteristics that make them feared by many. The Wolverine, which is a sub-Arctic forest creature, is larger and stronger than the honey badger, which is a sub-tropical desert animal.

The honey badger is known for its fierce fighting spirit, but the wolverine's larger size and the added protection of its thicker fur would give it a decisive advantage in a fight. The Wolverine is basically a honey badger's attitude and ferocity upgraded into a larger, stronger body adapted to live in a subpolar climate instead of a tropical one.

Wolverines are known for their ferocity and tenacity in hunting prey. But even they can have a tough time taking down certain animals, like the Honey Badger. If Wolverine and Honey Badger were to meet, the Wolverine would not be able to kill the Honey Badger and would eventually retreat and move on to another prey and that's because of the Honey Badger's ability to fight non-stop.

I heard Hippo is ferocious too?

While hippos are known for their incredible strength and aggressive behavior, they may not match up to the sheer ferocity of a wolverine. Wolverines are known for their tenacity and willingness to take on animals much larger than themselves, including bears and wolves. That being said, a hippo could certainly put up a fight if it felt threatened or cornered, and its powerful jaws and massive size make it a formidable opponent.

The Wolverine is so special that despite not being the biggest or having the strongest bite, it still evolved the most fierce temperament in the animal kingdom and is the most ferocious beast roaming the surface of our Earth.

They have Incredible Strength: Despite their relatively small size, wolverines are incredibly strong and can take down prey much larger than themselves.

The wolverine is an opportunistic predator, meaning it will attack most animals it encounters.
As a result, its diet consists of dozens of different species, including squirrels, mice, lemmings, beavers, moles, rabbits, and many others.
The wolverine even occasionally preys on other predators like coyotes, lynxes, foxes, and wolf pups!

They have been known to kill moose and caribou, and can even move the frozen carcasses of these large animals.
When there isn’t any prey around, the wolverine also indulges in plants and berries. Finally, this mustelid is also a scavenger, feeding on the dead bodies of animals.

It has a very high metabolism, which means that they require a lot of calories to survive.

Wolverines are highly adaptable and can survive in a wide range of habitats, including the tundra, taiga, and alpine environments. They are also able to travel long distances in search of food and can survive in harsh winter conditions.

Wolverines are fearless and will not hesitate to take on predators much larger than themselves, including wolves and bears. They are known for their aggressive behavior and tenacity, which allows them to defend their territory and food sources.!

Do you think the Honey Badger is more aggressive and Ferocious than the Wolverine? What's your take?

Make sure to watch the Video to see the aggression level of the Wolverine.

Pets / From Elephants To Crocodile: Meet The 6 Animals That Could Defeat A Rhino" by Debbie34: 1:28pm On May 06, 2023
What animals Could beat a Rhinoceros in a fight?

Welcome to our video where we showcase some of the most powerful and intimidating animals in the animal kingdom. In this episode, we'll introduce you to six different animals that have the strength and ability to overpower a rhinoceros. From massive elephants to stealthy crocodiles, you'll be amazed at the sheer power and dominance of these creatures. Get ready to witness some of the most incredible feats of strength and agility in the animal kingdom.

Rhinoceroses are a family of large, plant-eating mammals with five different species, including Black Rhinoceros, White Rhinoceros, Indian Rhinoceros, Javan Rhinoceros, and Sumatran Rhinoceros. The Black Rhinoceros is native to Africa, has tough skin, and two horns, while the White Rhinoceros is also native to Africa, has a square lip, and is the largest of all rhinoceroses. The Indian Rhinoceros has a distinctive skin fold down its neck and back and is found in India and Nepal.

Javan Rhinoceros is the rarest species with one horn, found in Indonesia and Vietnam, while the Sumatran Rhinoceros is the smallest species with two horns and is native to Indonesia and Malaysia. Unfortunately, all species of rhinoceros are threatened by habitat loss and poaching. Despite their size and power, there are few animals that could defeat a rhinoceros, and this video will reveal which ones they are.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqhzM5DRoCY

6. Elephant
An elephant would win over a rhino in a fight. Elephants are larger than rhinos, and their tusks are twice as long as those of rhinos.

The elephant has the power to easily lift a car, thus it can easily flip a rhino onto its side and use its powerful tusks to stab its underside.

In the past, when they were in musth and more aggressive, elephants killed rhinos.

Dead rhinos began to show up after teenage male elephants were moved to Pilanesberg National Park.

They appeared to have been killed by elephants because of the injuries on their necks and shoulders.

An adolescent elephant in musth usually loses the fight or soon gives up when faced with a large elder elephant, which causes them to lose their musth.

The young elephants never lost their musth since they were so much larger than the rhinos; as a result, they behaved like wild adolescents.

So adult bull elephants were introduced, and the teenage elephants calmed down within hours.

Rhinos are strong and capable of taking a lot of punishment, but they lack the maturity to contend with a young elephant.

They wouldn't have a chance against a huge bull elephant in a fight.

5. Tiger
Here we will talk about the Bengal Tiger and the Indian Rhinoceros.

Bengal tigers usually hunt smaller prey such as deer, pigs, and buffalo, but they have been known to occasionally hunt Indian rhinoceroses.

The hunting process can be challenging for a Bengal tiger, as rhinos are known for their tough skin and powerful horns.

Typically, a Bengal tiger will try to ambush the rhino and attack it from behind or the side, aiming for the neck or throat to disable the rhino.

The tiger may use its powerful front claws to grip the rhino and its back legs to try to bring the rhino down.

Once the rhino is down, the tiger can use its sharp teeth to inflict fatal injuries.

However, it's important to note that Indian rhinos are generally able to defend themselves effectively against Bengal tigers and other predators.

Bengal tigers and Indian rhinos typically avoid each other in the wild, and actual attacks are rare.

4. Lions
The pride of lions is typically known for hunting large prey including rhinos.

However, hunting a rhinoceros is a challenging task and requires a coordinated effort from the entire pride.

Lions hunt in groups, with the females doing the majority of the hunting.

When hunting a rhinoceros, a pride of lions will typically try to surround the rhino and isolate it from the herd.

Once the rhino is isolated, one or more lions will attempt to distract the rhino while the others attack from the rear or flanks.

The lions will use their powerful jaws and claws to try to bring the rhino down, aiming for the neck or throat to disable it.

Once the rhino is down, the lions will use their sharp teeth to inflict fatal injuries.

It's important to note that rhinos are large and powerful animals that are well-equipped to defend themselves.

They have tough skin and sharp horns that can cause serious injuries to predators.

Hunting a rhinoceros is a dangerous task for a pride of lions and is usually only attempted when other food sources are scarce.

In general, rhinos and lions have evolved to avoid each other in the wild, and actual attacks are rare.

Don't forget to subscribe and press the like button! Thank you!

3. Hyenas
Hyenas are social animals that live in packs, consisting of related females and their offspring.

These packs can range in size from just a few individuals to over 100 individuals.

Hyenas are known for their powerful jaws and sharp teeth, which they use to hunt and feed on a variety of prey, including zebras, wildebeests, and even buffalo.

Overall, hyenas are fascinating and complex animals that play important roles in their ecosystems as both predators and scavengers.

Hyenas hunt in packs and use their numbers to overpower large and powerful prey.

When hunting a rhinoceros, a pack of hyenas will typically try to surround the rhino and attack from multiple angles.

The hyenas will use their powerful jaws and sharp teeth to bite and cling to the rhino, trying to bring it down. Once the rhino is down, it's over.

You will realize that in such a fight, there is a huge risk that a number of hyenas in the pack will lose their lives.

2. Hippopotamus
The size difference between a hippopotamus and a rhinoceros is minimal, with the hippo often being larger. They are certainly longer in length than a rhino.

The hippo's enormous mouth, which can open wider than a rhino's head, is capable of inflicting severe injuries on the rhino.

Contrary to popular belief, rhinos are not indestructible tanks that charge into battle.

Their fights with other animals are usually comprised of several minor jabs and are not as fast-paced as one might think.

This is due to the rhino's limited eyesight, which makes it difficult for them to engage in a full-blown fight.

In contrast, hippos are known for their short temper and tendency to become agitated easily.

Male hippos, particularly alpha males,

engage in constant life-and-death battles with other giant male hippos over access to mate with female cows and with massive 20-foot crocodiles.

As a result, alpha male hippos have extensive experience in fighting.

If a hippo were to encounter a rhino, the rhino would not have enough room to gain momentum and headbutt the hippo.

Its best option would be to use its horns to swipe at the hippo.

However, the hippo's tusks, made of ivory and stronger than rhino keratin, can be just as large and powerful as the rhino's horn.

The hippo would use its strength and bulk to knock the rhino into the mud or onto the riverbank, where it would either drown or be torn to death by the hippo.

Furthermore, the hippo can open its jaws and tear the rhino's face, even on dry land.

1. Crocodile
A rhinoceros-crocodile encounter is not a common occurrence, but it can happen if they are both in close proximity to each other, such as near a river or water source.

In such an encounter, the outcome would depend on several factors, including the size and age of the animals, their level of aggression, and their past experiences with each other.

If the crocodile is large enough, it may try to attack the rhino from the water, using its powerful jaws and sharp teeth to try to bite into the rhino's legs or underbelly.

However, if the crocodile perceives the rhino as a threat to its young or if it is cornered and feels it has no escape, it may attack the rhino.

If a fight were to break out between these two massive animals, it would be a very intense one, but only one can emerge victorious.

Because of both animals’ features, the fight would be a pretty close call, but the saltwater crocodile would eventually win.

The saltwater croc has a strong tail it can use to its advantage.

Although its powerful bite might have trouble penetrating the rhino’s skin initially, the skin would eventually give way.

From Elon musk’s response, it was clear that he was an agnostic but not an atheist.

As an agnostic Musk neither believes nor disbelieves in God since the existence of God cannot be proved.

The physics guru only believes in facts and science

In the interview, Musk revealed that he accepted some of Jesus’s teachings on love and forgiveness

However, the genius was quick to criticize how Jesus chose wine over water in a wedding

The interviewers were amazed at Elon’s criticism of various biblical accounts

Elon Musk said

Let’s just say that I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated for mankind. You know, there is some great wisdom in what is in the teachings of Jesus, uh and I agree with those teachings, and things like turn the other cheek are very important as opposed to an eye for an eye.

An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind so forgiveness is important and treating people as you would wish to be treated, love your neighbor as yourself- are very important.

And Jesus was obviously very pro-alcohol because one of his miracles was turning water into wine, yeah that was like they were having a party they ran out of wine and they’re like let’s keep this party going – good stuff.

Who can solve this problem of wine — we’re at a white club, freaking stores closed and Jesus is like I got you covered.

Bring water now, let me turn it to wine, let’s keep this party going...!

The Interviewer was shocked to learn that Musk doesn’t pray.

He asked Elon – Do you pray?

Elon Musk Responded

I don’t – I didn’t even pray when I almost died of malaria.

In the Gospels...

(The miracle is told of in John 2:1-11)

Jesus' presence at the wedding at Cana emphasizes both personal and communal nature of the New Covenant. And His turning water into wine so the celebration could continue demonstrates how the New Covenant of service and forgiveness is a happy, joyful one.

Pets / Re: Pitbull Isn't The Strongest Or Most Aggressive - Stop The Pitbull Stigma by Debbie34: 4:52pm On Apr 08, 2022
maxevans:
Dog Fighting is Termed Animal Cruelty.

Today, In some parts of the world, dogs are pitted to fight one another and this is termed animal cruelty.

Dog Fighting should be discouraged and frowned upon.

Dogs are loving, cute animals who would give their life to save the people they love. Killing and eating dog meats should also be discouraged.

Dogs are pets, they should be considered a family member not food for your pleasure. There are so many other meats you can eat from. Why eat dog meat?

According to premium times Nigeria. Do you know that Nigeria is the country with the third highest dog consumption rate in the world.

Do you know there are 4 Types of Pit Bull Dog Breed.

The American Bully

The American Pit Bull Terrier

American Staffordshire Terrier

Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

The American Pitbull terrier is said to have the strongest bite force of 235PSI , significantly smaller than that of a German Shepherd at 238PSI.

So, Is pitbull the strongest dog?

No

Kangal is the strongest dog, mostly due to its size and bite force of 743psi, a bite force stronger than a lion

Is Pitbull the most aggressive dog?

No.

There are so many aggressive dogs that attack people and these breeds of dogs have been banned in many countries.

According to cheatsheet

PetHelpful reports that the pit bull is banned more frequently than any other breed — despite the fact that it’s not actually a singular breed.

The term “pit bull” actually applies to several breeds and mixes of breeds, but all of them face stigmas as “aggressive” and “dangerous.” PetHelpful notes, “Every time there is a biting incident, especially if it is serious, a pit bull is blamed. It does not matter if the dog is not a pit bull. If no one knows the dog breed involved, if no one identifies the dog, it is assumed to be a pit bull.”

Pit bulls get the blame not just because people have a bias against these dogs, but also because they’re biased against these dogs’ owners.

Anyways, the aggressiveness of dogs is solely due to how it’s trained by its owner.

Some owners train their dogs to be Wild and aggressive and this could lead to fatalities and casualties.

Are all Pitbulls Wild and aggressive?

No.

I have a Pitbull that’s loyal, sweet, and playful, and would never hurt a fly.

Why are humans so afraid of Pitbull dogs?

The media is to be blamed, there’s a lot of exaggeration about the strength and capabilities of a pitbull.

Every dog breed has the tendency to be aggressive and vicious, there are so many dog breeds that are stronger and more powerful than a pitbull in terms of size, strength, and bite force.

I have heard a lot of rumors and exaggerations about Pitbulls so I decided to clarify the Stigma and misconceptions.

Please feel free to make your own findings and comment your opinions below.

Pets / Re: Rottweiler Vs Pitbull - Which Is Stronger? by Debbie34: 6:02am On Feb 24, 2022
maxevans:
Are you torn between a Rottweiler and the American Pitbull terrier?

Which would make a better pet?
These two dogs are different but quite similar in a way.

The Rottweiler and the American Pitbull Terrier can send fear down your spine by just their countenance. Mere looking at them is scary.

People who own the American Pitbull Terrier and Rottweiler would tell you otherwise. These breeds of dogs can be very sweet, overprotective, and make great companionship.

It's sad to note that these breeds of dogs have been greatly misunderstood, especially the American Pitbull Terrier (APBT).

These dogs are similar in temperament, they are playful, sociable, and great companions all around, only if trained well.

In the wrong hands, they can be overprotective and aggressive towards humans and other animals.

It all depends on how these dogs were brought up by its owner.

The Rottweiler is always on the guard of strangers and can be overly protective of its surroundings and family.

Whereas the American Pitbull Terrier has a playful nature with anyone including visitors, only if trained well of course.

Size
The Rottweiler is larger than the American Pitbull Terrier(APTB) and this size can be a negative side effect as it tends to have health problems.

Breed Comparison

While Rottweiler has a Protective, Loyal and confident personality.

The American Pitbull Terrier has an affectionate, agile, and loyal countenance.

The American Pitbull Terrier is an agile dog that was bred for energy, and work. Having the tendency to work long hours non-stop.

Whereas the energy level of the Rottweiler is within average level but below that of the Pitbull Terrier.

The American Pitbull Terrier tends to have a longer lifespan of 12-16 years.

while the Rottweiler has a lower lifespan of 9-10 years.

Rottweiler weighs more at around 80 - 135 pounds while the American Pitbull terrier weighs less at around 30 - 65 pounds.

Male dogs tend to weigh more than females.

Rottweiler is also taller by a height of 22 - 27 inches

Whereas Pitbull's height is around 17 - 21 inches.

The health of the Rottweiler is well within average. Due to its size and height, it falls short of certain health issues.

The American Pitbull Terrier dog is well above average in his health condition.

How much do a Pitbull and Rottweiler cost?
The price of Rottweiler in the USA is $1500 and upwards, they cost more than the American Pitbull Terrier.

Whereas the price of the American Pitbull Terrier is $800 and above.

Breed History

Understanding the history of these dogs and why they were bred will enlighten you on so many things.

Let's begin with the Rottweiler

History of Rottweiler
We can trace the history of the Rottweiler back to the Roman empire regime and this implies that they are one of the oldest recorded dog breeds in the world.

This dog breed according to science is believed to have descended from the lineage of the ancient Mastiff-type dogs.

The Rottweiler was bred with the sole purpose of herding cattle alongside armies.

Their duty was also to guard and protect cattle from thieves, robbers, and wild animals.

They were traveling butchers back in those days in a certain town called Rottweil specifically in Germany.

These butchers were so impressed with the Rottweiler guarding ability and aggressive nature that they decided to use them to protect their resources (money and valuables) as well.

They would tie their money and valuables around the Rottweilers neck with confidence that no one would steal it.

This bred got its name from the Rottweil town in Germany - it was commonly known as Rottweiler Metzgerhund in Germany which means 'Rottweiler Butcher dog' in English.

The Rottweiler was then used for several other purposes such as moving heavy objects in farms and homes and in protective services especially.

The Rottweiler was commonly used as Germany Police dogs even till this day.

In this modern-day, Rottweiler has been adopted into homes as a great family pet. It was ranked 8th most popular dog breed in America by the American Kennel Club. A well-deserved position out of 193 other recognizable breeds of dogs worldwide.

In addition, Rottweiler has been mixed with other pure breeds of dogs like the Rottie-labrador mix

Now let's talk about the history of the American Pitbull terrier.

History of Pitbull
The Pitbull isn't really a breed but a descendant of Terriers and Bulldogs lineage.

We have four breeds of Pitbulls.

The American Pitbull Terrier, American Bully, American Staffordshire terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Pitbulls are energetic dogs bred for fighting a long time ago until fighting became outlawed.

Pitbull was bred for herding and exercising and they also make great companion dogs.

The American Pitbull Terrier is considered to be vicious and a dog that has a bad reputation for violence and aggressiveness, but such is not the case.

We really don't know the popularity of the American Pitbull terrier because it hasn't been recorded by the American Kennel Club, however, this breed of dog is greatly popular in America.

Appearance
Both the American Pitbull Terrier and Rottweiler are greatly different in appearance.

The only similarity they have is the bad reputation mentality that humans have of them

The Rottweiler is obviously taller 24 - 27 inches tall whereas the American Pitbull terrier is just about 18-21 inches tall.

The Rottweiler is so much heavier than the American Pitbull terrier

Weighing 135pounds whereas the American Pitbull terrier weighs just about 65 pounds.

This is almost twice the size of the American Pitbull terrier.

Do you think size matters in a fight between Rottweiler vs American Pitbull terrier?
The American Pitbull terrier is also leaner in comparison to the Rottweiler.

The Rottweiler has a distinctive black and tan color and there's a rust color over his eyebrows, snout, chest, and legs.

The American Pitbull terrier has an array of colors from blue, red, grey, white, and brindle colors.

Rottweiler and American Pitbull Terrier have short coats, the Rott has a slightly longer and softer coat than the APBT.

With both having straight and shiny coats.

Both breeds make great family pets as they enjoy cuddling and snuggle time with their owners.

The APBT tends to be more playful and loving than the Rottweiler.

Rottweiler loves and adores his owners but can be overprotective and curious of strangers and this is because of his guarding nature.

The Rottweiler spends some time on patrol duty, monitoring his environment and being on the lookout for strangers.

The jaws of a Rottweiler are powerful and can tear the flesh off and this is why it is recommended that you buy your Rottweiler a chewing toy for teeth exercise.

The American Pitbull terrier makes the worst guard dog ever.

They are friendly and playful and would joyfully invite strangers into your home and play with them.

A similar breed that makes terrible guard dogs are the Golden Retriever.

The Golden Retriever is considered a great dog for first-time dog owners.

The American Pitbull terrier can feel great sadness and separation anxiety if you don't spare some time to play with them.

All the Rottweiler needs are his toys and a little cuddle and that's all.

The Rottweiler can be alone and on patrol for hours without needing a cuddle or snuggle.

If you need a dog who loves to play then the APBT is what you need.

They are great with children as well.

Take note:
The APBT dog is considered a fighting dog, it was bred for that purpose.

Police have recorded instances where criminals used APBTs to guard their drug hoards and even used them to assault police officers on patrol.

This APBT dog was trained by his owner to be aggressive and to carry out dirty criminalistic duties.

And so yes, an APBT can be very aggressive and dangerous in the wrong hands.

As a result of this, many states in USA and countries have adopted the Breed Specific Legislation (BSL). Both the Rottweiler and APBT have tendencies to be very aggressive and so these laws apply to owners of this dog breed.

EXERCISE
The average exercise time for both Rottweiler and APBT is 60minutes.

They are both energetic and agile and so require intense exercise, especially the APBT because they are more energetic.

The APBT loves to play fight with his owner, loves to play frisbee ball, or any agility exercise such as biking, running, jogging, jumping, etc.

Make sure to supervise your children while they are playing with these dogs because they are strong and powerful dogs.

As earlier said, the bite force of the Rottweiler is more powerful than that of the American Pitbull terrier because its bite is said to tear the flesh off and cause serious fractures and injuries.

The bite force of the American Pitbull Terrier is said to be around 235pounds of pressure

Whereas the bite force of the Rottweiler is said to be around 328 pounds of pressure.

Note
Do not abandon these dogs for long, they will become destructive if you do. They need companionship and playtime.

So consider looking for another breed like the Golden Retriever if you can't take them out for daily exercise.

And if you're the lazy type who can't spend time with these dogs then get ready for a lot of repairs because these dogs are strong and can cause a significant amount of damage to your home.

Training
Both Rottweiler and American Pitbull terrier dogs are intelligent, their training requires that they should be mentally and physically stimulated.

The Rottweiler and APBT are easy to train by their master because they desire to serve and please.

Make sure to get them acquainted and socialize with them at an early age.

Especially the Rottweiler because it has a guardian attribute.

And both dog breeds aren't fond of other dogs, they tend to lash out when confronted by other dogs.

And so it is important that you train them properly at an early age so they become sweet and loving dogs all around.

Positive Reinforcement Training:
Always use positive reinforcement techniques to train your dog, never shout at them, never force them, never beat them, always use hand signals, hand movements, eye contact, and always reward them with treats once they pass any tests. This is greatly essential.

Health
As earlier mentioned, APBT is healthier than Rottweiler and thus tends to live longer.

Rottweiler's lifespan is around 9-10 years at best while APBT lives for 12-16 years at best.

Some health concerns that affect APBT are Hip Dysplasia, Cerebellar Albiotrophy.

Hip Dysplasia is a pain in the hip joint that can lead to crippling tendencies and arthritis if not properly treated.

Another health concern that affects the APBT is Cerebellar Abiotrophy

This happens when the organ of the brain that controls its balance and coordinate movement is damaged and hence cannot stand or move.

The Rottweiler also suffers the same fate of Hip Dysplasia including Elbow Dysplasia.

Rottweiler also commonly suffer from a disease called Dilated Cardiomyopathy,

This happens when the heart of the Rottweiler becomes thinner and dilated heart walls and thus its heart cannot function properly resulting in heart failures.

In addition to that Rottweiler also suffers from Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis

This is a condition that results in blockage of blood flow.

Other aimlents of the Rottweiler is Osteosarcoma, Bloat, and Lymphoma.

Nutrition
Rottweiler tend to eat more food than the American Pitbull terrier

The Rottweiler has less metabolism and so they must not overeat because they have the tendency to suffer from obesity.

The APBT has a higher metabolism rate and so it is less likely for it to put on weight.

Grooming

APBT is very easy to care for in terms of grooming.

All you need to do is brush it once a week, bathe it once or twice in 2 months.

Rottweiler needs more grooming, you would need to brush them once a week, and bathe them every 6 weeks. This will ensure their skin is healthy and shiny.

So in a fight between Rottweiler vs Pitbull - Which is stronger and more powerful?

Who would win in a fight - A Rottweiler or A Pitbull?

The Rottweiler is taller in height 22 - 27 inches.

The Pitbull is shorter in height 17 - 21 inches

In terms of size, the Rottweiler weighs 80 - 135 pounds

In terms of size, the Pitbull weighs 30 - 65 pounds.

The Rottweiler has a bite force of 328 pounds of pressure

The Pitbull has a bite force of 235pounds of pressure.

The Jaw of the Rottweiler is said to tear off flesh

The Jaw of the Pitbull isn't so strong.

The Rottweiler was bred to guard farm animals and fight off thieves and wild animals.

The Pitbull was bred for fighting, herding, and exercising.

In my humble opinion, I don't think a pitbull stands a chance against a Rottweiler.

The Rottweiler is at an advantage in terms of height, size, bite force, and strength.

If A Pitbull vs Rottweiler fights, the Rottweiler dog will win and defeat the less strong Pitbull dog.

Thanks. Please endeavor to share and comment your thoughts if you enjoyed reading.

Pets / Re: Have You Heard Of Zebra Spider? The Most Beautiful Spider In The World by Debbie34: 9:59pm On Jul 22, 2021
maxevans:
Animals are given names based on their color, appearance, markings, and other characteristics. The Zebra Spider gets its name from the fact that it is black with white hair and white color stripes, just like a zebra. They are sometimes known as Jumping Spider of the Northern Hemisphere.

Because of its agility, the name Salticus was taken from a Latin term that meant “dancing,” and Scenus is a Greek word that means “theatrical” or “decorative area.”

According to Wikipedia, male spiders have a larger chelicera than female spiders; males are about 5-6mm long, while females are about 5-9mm long.

It is crucial to note, however, that they are members of the Salticidae family, which means they have an enlarged anterior median eye, as well as large anterior and posterior-lateral eyes in comparison to the small posterior median eyes. These numbers indicate that the zebra spider has eight eyes. Fearless Nature of Zebra and Lion in the Wild

One eye, in particular, the exceptionally big anterior median eyes, is used for superb binocular vision.

HABITAT

In locations like North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Arctic, they are frequently spotted in close proximity to humans just like Cockroaches and wall geckos. During the day, zebra spiders can be seen on window sills just behind the curtains and on walls, plants, and fences outside.

They feed on

Small spiders
arthropods
small and large mosquitoes
and small moths are among their favorite foods.

The zebra spider catches its prey in a variety of ways.

The zebra spider uses its enormous front eyes to find and pursue its prey, crawling slowly approaching them before pouncing on them.

This hunting strategy has been compared to that of a cat. Their keen vision allows them to calculate the exact distance needed to leap and seize the prey.

They leap to their prey with the help of a sticky silk thread, and if they miss, they climb up the silk thread and try their luck again; ants are unpalatable to them.

Reproduction

When the male and female are close enough to touch, the male will wave his front legs and moves his abdomen up and down, in a dance that the female will finds appealing—only then will she agree to mate.

Afterward, the female will stay with the egg sacs after mating and guard them until they hatch. After their second molting, the fingerlings are most likely to abandon their moms and fend for themselves.

Do They Pose a Threat?

These spiders aren’t aggressive biters and won’t bite unless they’re handled or threatened in some way.

They do generate venom, which is used to immobilize their food, but because the spiders are so little, the venom is only likely to cause minor injury to humans.

Are they venomous?

Humans are not harmed by zebra spiders. They are frequently misunderstood as hostile due to their leaping activity (they jump more than they walk).

This is a natural behavior for them, and they will not bite unless they are frightened or provoked. Most people will only experience moderate irritation if they are bitten.

Agriculture / 11 Profitable Tips On Starting A Successful Livestock Farm Business by Debbie34: 8:25pm On Nov 11, 2020
Livestock farming goes along with cultivation of crops, some farmers prefer livestock farming because of the opportunity to major on one or two livestock animals. This in turn generates lots of income to the farmer.
Livestock animals include sheep, chickens, cow, grass cutters, rabbits e.t.c
There's high demand in livestock farming due to its meat, it's rich in protein and nutritious to the body. A very profitable business to venture into. It is however, important to have basic knowledge of the business so you can be successful and hence make great income yearly.

(1) Know your Environment

You have to ask yourself a basic question. What do people in my community want? This will enable you to make right decisions.

Take note. You will not make money, if you focus your attention on goats when your surrounding people prefer poultry instead.

For instance, you will not make more profit; in a situation whereby you focus on only pigs where most people around your area prefer poultry rearing.

Therefore, before starting livestock farming, it is advisable to consider your environment for successful livestock farming.

(2) Have a Purpose

Being successful requires setting a goal and achieving it, You must know what you want and how you plan on achieving it. If your plan is to focus on dairy and meat purposes, then your choice of animal should be goat or cattle. Your decision is fundamental in starting up livestock farming because your decision will determine what farm resources and equipment is required.

(3) Choose a good location

Deciding on a location depends on whether you're going into large scale or small scale livestock farming. A farm land for cattle will be different from rabbit farming. A rabbit farming can be practiced in surrounding areas, whereas cattle farming must be practiced in secluded areas, far away from human houses. Cattles are known to carry flies around and so will be unhygienic to have them in close proximity with humans.

If your plan is to venture into extensive livestock farming, choosing a location in the rural area will be the best option because cost of land is cheaper and there are big farm lands there.

Before you finally conclude your decision on choosing a location, ensure that the location you choose is mobile i.e easily accessible by cars. This is an important factor to consider

The location as well as the place you choose should be carefully studied, A question of does it rain frequently in this area, should i be concerned about heavy rainfall and flooding.. All these factors must be considered before arriving at a conclusion.

(4) Feed Properly

(cool Obtain Loan

One can obtain loan through bank, relatives, governmental organizations, partnership organizations e.t.c.

A business plan will help in facilitating your loan, because it entails the breakdown and analysis of your livestock farm, including the how much needed to start up e.t.c

It is advisable to interact with agricultural business on how to obtain loan.

(9) You'll need a Veterinary doctor and a Nutritionist

A veterinary doctor will carry out a monthly routine on your animals ensuring they are in perfect healthy conditions.

Anything pertaining to the health of the animal is the responsibility of the veterinary doctor. Your animals needs to be active and agile for optimum production. The nutritionist job ensures the animals are well fed and given balanced rations. All these are essential and important for high quality products. Ensure they are well vaccinated, treated and given balanced rations.

(10) Have a Business plan

Before starting your livestock farming, ensure you draft how you want your business to run. Knowing about your strength, weaknesses and opportunities must be stated, including possible damage, miscellaneous expenses, as well as relevant information on the kind of livestock farming you want to operate

Expenses are incurred at the beginning of livestock farming before you start making money.

Pets / The Family Life Of Tigers In The Wild by Debbie34: 12:24am On Oct 12, 2020
Do tigers protect or support their old age mother?
At the point when an individual tiger (regardless of whether male or female) and its kin become old enough at around two years of age, they leave their moms at once and head out in a different direction – at the end of the day, when tiger development is reached, no more family existence with Mom; it’s presently an ideal opportunity to grasp lone autonomy (for most tigers, in contrast to people, family ties are not all that sacrosanct).

(Domestic cat mothers do this as well. They chase away their kittens after they reach a certain age.)…

In fact, all felids, including leopards and jaguars (and to be precise, the ones that lead a solitary lifestyle, unlike lions) do the same with their cubs too, chasing them away when they become of age.

I Guess there’s no such thing as sacred family life in the world of cats, eh?

Thus, all alone, the striped felines adventure all over into the woods, numerous kilometers from their mom’s region, in order to begin their own lives, looking for another turf to lead over and another family to set up.

Tigers aggressive nature, a vicious battle to the death
Truly, it might happen that if her offspring won’t leave regardless of their development, a tigress can rapidly turn very forceful, at a point that she will fend them off, to compel them to escape the turf promptly – should she get together with them again later on, an awful fight to the passing will undoubtedly occur…

Anyway barbarous this conduct is, researchers accept that it really establishes an insurance to abstain from inbreeding and its negative effect (especially when the explicitly sexually aroused sub-adults starts to desire for their own moms!), just as conceivably deadly competition with the moms’ next litter…

It is clear, then, that family life is over once tigers reaches adulthood. And the fact that the mother tigress is now of old age makes no difference – in fact, it only worsens the situation even more

Sufficiently sure, a grown-up tiger (regardless of whether male or female) is at its most weak when it’s old (around 10–15 years, the greatest tiger life expectancy in the wild), as it’s no longer as solid nor fearsome as it used to be, and now gets itself helpless against assaults from different tigers, including its own children and little girls who long for power!!!

Machli dethron her mother
It’s quite serious, and I give you a solid example: India’s most acclaimed tigress, the late Machli, rose to control by ruthlessly assaulting her own mom, deposing her and banishing her out of the Ranthambore Lakes (a prime tiger natural surroundings in Central India), as found in the video above.

Satara dethron Machli
A long time later, it was Machli’s chance to become deposed, and hence expelled, by her little girl Satara, presumably the most predominant of every one of Machli’s offspring – it fundamentally happened in light of the fact that Satara’s savage quality (touched off by an insatiable hunger for power) was more than what Machli’s mature age could suffer, which inevitably prompted her giving up without a fight[1]; frightening however genuine stories of competition and terrifying but real tales of rivalry and betrayal in the world of tigers..

Son steals food from mother Machli
This event, alongside maturing, a wrecked tooth and a harmed eye, caused Machli to lose quite a bit of her quality and adventure a long ways past the spot she once called home. Before long, as though things couldn’t deteriorate, Cheroli (her prevailing child from her third litter) appeared, not to pay a benevolent visit for old fashioned Mommy, however to take food from her!…

Machli, mindful of the peril, endeavored to oppose by fending her competitor off, however without much of any result – the slicing paw to-hook tussle brought about the male mercilessly hammering his mom down and smacking her jaw, in the long run beating her and delivering her unquestionably more decrepit than any time ever.

Every one of these occasions demonstrate that tigers in the wild, after arriving at adulthood, leave their matured moms for good, and never care for them (not to mention ensure or uphold them) – indeed, whenever given the opportunity, they may take part in a fatal battle with their own folks (counting the one that brought forth them), to assume control over the seat. Nature genuinely is brutal, eh?

So, what happened to Machli, You asked?

After brutal fight with her daughter and son, Machli was rendered far weaker than ever, and just prowled the forest on her own, without establishing a stable territory; and she was unable to hunt for herself (which only increased the weakness along with her old age).

So park staff members provided her food — something that sparked controversy among tiger experts, who despised human intervention and wanted to let nature take its course.

In August 2016, Machli was critically ill, and then died. Thanks to her popularity, she was cremated in accordance with Hindu traditional rituals in a public ceremony.

The link you posted is actually a Cheetah, maybe it's a mistake from the site as Leopards and Cheetahs are easy to differentiate ( for me), Cheetah is slim and also way taller, while Leopard is more muscular but not taller rather longer body....

100% correct...The mistake was from the youtube video...for more clarity, here are some pictures below

A cheetah and a leopard don't look alike. They don't even have the same patterns. And they are way different in their builds (cheetahs being elongated and slim, and leopards being stocky). By the way, a lion will kill a leopard with the same ease as it kills a cheetah. Also, Lions can climb too, but not as adept as the leopard.

Thanks, You're right... I hope the picture below helps for those who find it difficult differentiating them

Nice post OP... it's TRUE what you said Tigers being more powerful that jaguars. The jaguar is strong but size matters in battles like this & a tiger is far bigger than the jaguar. So there's just no chance for the jaguar...

By the way, the video you attached; its actually a cheetah the lion killed, not a leopard.
Actually, you're right...the animal looks more of a cheetah than leopard, but youtube calls it leopard...hmmmn
These animals look so similar, it's so easy to confuse them for one another....Although, There are instances were a lion hunted a leopard up a tree,
Leopards get lucky most of the time because of their ability to climb trees, unfortunately for Lions they can't climb

A jaguar will kill tiger hands down but it will be an extremely blood fight.
Jaguar is actually the strongest among the cat family. .
I completely disagree with you 100% and i will show you a video to prove my point( Visit link below to watch a male lion killing a leopard.)
Before i send the link for you to watch i need to state that a leopard can kill a Gorilla...Take note: A Gorilla is stronger than 20 adult humans combined)
Now you can go and watch the video and see for your self how a lion single handedly took out a leopard..the leopard fought back ofcuz but a lion is bigger, stronger and skilled in battle...Only a tiger can contend with a lion and live to tell the tale
The only advantage of a jaguar is bite force and that alone can't help it, i'm sorry my friend but a tiger will destroy a jaguar in a matter of 2 minute tops.

I loved reading through your article...you did a great job, What about silverback Gorilla and Hippopotamus?...I believe both animals can kill a tiger too, you should include that in your article...

Good question, Leopards oftentimes prey on Gorillas, A Leopard will stalk a gorilla and kill it, it is not uncommon at all, so if a leopard can kill a gorilla, a gorilla is definitely no match for the much bigger, and stronger tiger...
I agree with hippopotamus though, hippos are very territorial, stubborn and aggressive, they have very large jaws and big massive teeth, It will literally kill anything that crosses it's path... But there are no instances of tiger attacking Hippopotamus, Lions can cuz they move in prides.
The hippo has all of the physical advantages over a tiger, as tigers usually hunt alone and may weigh 500 pounds, as compared to the hippo weighing 4,000 pounds. The tiger might be able to scratch the hippo up some, but it's not likely to manage to do much damage

Pets / 10 Animals That Will Kill A Full Grown Tiger by Debbie34: 3:52pm On Sep 05, 2020
It may surprise you that there are actually quite a few animals that can kill a full grown tiger. Bear in mind many of these animals kill tiger in self defense but some do prey on tigers in specific circumstances. I will try to include a source for most animals, and hope this answer helps you out. Some of these animals may come as a surprise...i'll put a description link below for you to see my sources...Enjoy

Here are 10 Animals that will Kill a full grown tiger

(1).Indian crested porcupine

(There is graphic content of a tiger heart impaled by a porcupine quill. You have been warned.)
It’s obvious porcupines have a powerful defensive weapon in form of their quills. These spiky protrusions can cause terrible wounds and sadly for most animals they don’t know how to remove them. I will always remember the time I almost ran over a porcupine when mountain biking. That would have been a painful wipe out! As for porcupines killing Bengal tigers here are a few incidents....visit description link below to see sources.
As you can see if the porcupine get’s good hit with its quills the tiger can end up dead. Sometimes these incidents make you wonder why the tiger even hunts these spiky devils!

(2).Water buffalo

“My mother makes me feel like a Nigerian. Whenever I leave she says “bison”!”
It’s no secret that water buffaloes are aggressive beasts that won’t hesitate to charge anything they perceive as threats. Bengal tigers like to ambush these guys as they can be a handful when facing them in a head on conflict. When the ambush goes wrong let’s just say things don’t often go in favor of the tiger.
Chart shows that one tiger killed by a buffalo in a study to determine how humans influence tigers. It may not seem significant but it was the only prey animal to have killed a tiger during this study. I think that speaks volumes about buffaloes being a truly deadly prey animal.

(3).Ussuri brown bears

It’s easy to see why brown bears would be able to kill tigers due to their size strength and power. In Russia Ussuri brown bears and Siberian tigers come into conflict and tigers even hunt the bears which make up 1.4% of their diet. Large bears also may engage tigers and try to steal their food.
During telemetry research in the Sikhote-Alin protected area, 44 direct confrontations between the two predators were observed, in which bears were killed in 22 cases, and tigers in 12 cases. This shows that if a bear feel threatened it won’t hesitate to defend itself.

(4).Gaur
Gaur are like water buffalo but I find them to be even more frightening. They have massive muscles and are know to be quite aggressive towards aggressors. Naturally when these guys come into conflict with tigers the tiger doesn’t always come out on top.

(5).Saltwater crocodile
Crocodile says “I dare you to come closer.”
Tigers love to swim and you know what else likes to swim? You guessed it, crocodiles! Crocodiles are the dominant predators in the water and once it get’s a hold of a tiger the cat is pretty much doomed. Visit link below to see sources and watch video of actual incident
The tiger may be king of the Indian jungle but the crocodile is the king of India’s waters.

(6).Indian rhinoceros
Rhino says “If you try that again Mr tiger then you will feel what its like to have this horn up your ass!!!”
Indian rhinos are huge and won’t hesitate to damage an attacking tiger. Tigers have quickly learned that hunting these animals is way too dangerous and only prey on them as a last resort and even then they will only go for young, injured and sick animals.
This conflict shows that the tiger should not be underestimated when it has to fight for its life. In the fight that ensued both the rhino and tiger were killed!A Royal Bengal Tiger and a Rhinoceros Found Dead in Kaziranga...I could only find one source of the incidence, link below will take you to it.
Sorry I couldn’t find more sources of rhinos killing tigers but like I said they don’t fight much. Even with the lack of evidence its is easy to see that Indian rhinos could kill tigers.

(7).Asian elephant
I think this animal needs zero explanation. Being so much bigger than the tiger , having a powerful trunk and if you’re a male having tusks comes with some perks. Elephants have nearly no predators as adults but the rare time a tiger picks a fight with one boy is it for a scare.
There are close to no cases of elephants killing tigers for one reason. The tiger is too scared to attack it. Still, I was able to find one case of a tiger trampled to death by a wild elephant.(source in the description link below)

(cool.Wild Boar
Wild boars are actually pretty dangerous and will kill attackers by brutally mauling them to death. Tigers are no exception and are killed on some occasions by these animals.
Here is a case of a boar killing a tiger by goring it to death. (Description link below)

(9). Moose
Moose says “You better not be thinking of attacking me!!!”

Moose and Siberian tigers live together and have a predator prey relationship. While quite unlikely I believe it would be possible for the moose to take out a tiger. After all they have been know to kill bears on occasion. Still this guy’s killing ability is a bit speculative as not enough research has been done on interactions between the two animals.

(10). Others
Some honorable mentions include venomous snakes like cobras and of course smaller predators like leopards, wolves and dholes which will prey on younger tigers if given the chance. Finally tigers are often killed by other tigers and Lions
There are quite a few instances where cubs are eaten by adult tigers but two adult tigers fighting and one eating the other is rare. "Though history has instances of cannibalism in tigers, it is rare,"

Lions
lions often killed tigers in captivity by ganging up on them, whereas tigers tend not to form fighting gangs. Lions roam in prides of up to 30 and kill tiger/tigers( Source in description link below)

What do you think so far? please feel free to express your opinions, i hope you enjoyed reading as well...

Lions fear Rhinos, elephants and to a great extent buffaloes and hippos. So, it's not true that Lions fear no other animals.

Yeah, I guess what the writer meant is that lions can take down any animal cuz they operate in prides, although animals fight back when they are attacked, especially mother's...Oftentimes, mothers will fight back to defend her young ones and a lion wouldn't want to risk serious injury. An injury in the wild means certain death, so yes, lions are fearless in prides, but just like every other thing, it has enemies...Wildlife is fun

Lions are called king of the Jungle and here’s why?

It may surprise you that there are actually quite a few animals that can kill a full grown tiger. Lion is one of the few, in a one on one combat between a lion and a tiger it is reported that lions win 9 out of 10 fights…shocking right?.

I know you’re shocked and probably wondering how i came up with that information right?

Wikipedia gave an account of what happened while Audience watch As Lion Defeated A Tiger in the Arena...I'll put a description link below for you to Visit Read and watch video
Trainer Bert Nelson, A man who witnessed an incident struggle that happened between lions and tigers, said that a tiger would surrender ‘sooner’ than a lion.
Roman’s, placed them in a pit to fight against each other and the Lion won 9/10 times that’s why they called lions, king of the jungle. A well healthy Lion and a well healthy tiger of almost the same age and Size (pound for pound)…
I need to state however, that there are conflicting opinions in wikipedia, some opinions favoured Tiger, while some favoured Lion…
However, after much research and in depth study on the matter, i finally cracked it.

Lion’s weight
In general, fully grown male lions weigh in at around 420 pounds

Best Estimate
Estimates vary, but Saffoe says an average adult male African lion and an average adult male Bengal tiger (the most common wild tiger subspecies) both weigh in the neighborhood of 400 to 420 pounds (180 to 190 kilograms)

This animal can reach upwards of 600 pounds for males and 360 pounds for females. Ones in captivity are usually larger. The average size of wild cats tends to hover at around 300 pounds for females and 470 pounds for a male Siberian tiger.

If you put a healthy male Lion and a healthy male Tiger of the same age and size of around let’s say 400-420pounds…
Record shows that Lion will win 9/10 times in a one on one battle, now here’s what was observed…

In most cases Tigers are bigger than a lion and size matters a lot in a one on one combat. Though, tigers are bigger and stronger, lions are faster, they have a mane that protects them and better stamina.
Now tigers are physically superior but lions usually make a tiger submit which is most of the time they fight. In orther words, Tiger lacks stamina and a will power to fight longer…
Also be aware that male lions sometimes fight each other to the death, A lion is skilled in battle. Oftentimes, a male lion fight each-other for power and dominance, the weaker lion submits and flee, in some cases the weaker lion is killed during the fight..

Fighting among lions is not uncommon. Male lions often fight each other for territory and females, often to the death. If the invading males are successful in killing or subduing the alpha males of the pride, the first thing they do is kill off all the cubs in the pride.
Now you see why Male lions are built for fighting right?

Tigers are solitary( they live alone, and hunt alone) so a tiger isn’t skilled in battle and therefore lack stamina against an alpha male lion.
Tigers have to plan their attacks carefully or risk getting murdered by their extremely powerful prey. They also fall risk to being attacked by other predators such as bears, Gaur and crocodiles. Overall, like most animals tigers have hard lives despite being apex predators.
Lions are smart they know not to swim because of hippos crocs and elephants Male lions are in coalitions for 4 years which are all Male groups who fight and hunt together.

Why lion is called King of jungle?

Lions live in groups called prides. ... Lions are the kings of the jungle because of their raw power and strength. Lions fear no other animals, however, like a king lions do have enemies. The lion's worst enemy is the hyena.

Why is friends series so popular?

The primary reason behind the success of Friends TV Show was the connect its cast had with the audience. It’s an emotion that makes you laugh and cry; it’s something you can’t get enough of. The Friends TV Show is a show that most of my friends and family have watched more than 10 times yet everyone still watches it.

Phones / Re: Samsung Galaxy A51 An Alternative To Galaxy S20 by Debbie34: 3:51pm On May 12, 2020
maxevans:
If you're a fan of Samsung phones, but your budget simply won't stretch to a Galaxy S20 plus, then Samsung's mid-range A series could be for you. The Galaxy A51 boasts very impressive specs for the price. There's a Samsung Exynos 9611 processor inside with up to 8GB of RAM. The software is Samsung's OneUl 2.0 over Android 10, and it's attractive, easy to use, and logically laid out. check out reviews and cool features

https://thewildanddomestic.com/an-alternative-to-galaxy-s20-plus/

The phone has a plastic back and is available in several colors, with the blue catching the eye the most, plus there's a fingerprint sensor under the 6.5-inch screen on the front. It's a beautiful AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, with very thin bezels and a small hole-punch selfie camera in the top corner.

Speaking of cameras, you get a quad-lens shooter here with a 48-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wild-angel lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. That's an impressive, versatile camera suite for a midrange phone, and it takes great photos you'll be happy to share. There's a big battery here too, rated at 4,000mAh and it has no problem lasting a da even with heavy use.

what about Samsung A71?
