I just marvel at the way pple who are supposed to be matured, responsible and cultured will come to a supposedly matured site like Nairaland to throw abusive, denigrating and insulting words at one another just because someone's views and opinions about a post run at variance to theirs. For heaven's sake, one is free to hold an opinion, good or bad, as long as it does not affect another member's integrity. The best others can do is correct or enlighten in a way also that does not injure the person's psychology but the converse is the case here. Once a comment is made which is perceived to be wrong, words like idiot, mad, and other more denigrating ones are freely used. Too bad! |
I get this promo sms almost every 3 hrs but I simply ignore it and delete because nothing good can come from MTN and co. They will rake in 200m to pay someone they know 2m. My hard - earned moni will never be part of that sacrifice. Tufiak!!! |
Arrant nonsense! How does this translate to cheaper call rates and data subscription to the subscribers who are the end users? When customers were being held by the jugular with frustrations all over their faces NCC looked the other way but now that they need money in their coffers to share for the yuletide, they are imposing dubious fines! Instead of them to come up with a clear - cut instruction to these oppressors to come down substantially with their tariff across board. All the fines put together isn't up to the amount each of them makes in few hours or even less. NCC has lost its relevance in the scheme of things joor. It should be scrapped! |
Clean BlackBerry Z10 for sale. Am in ado - ekiti. ..08034260079 |
A clean BlackBerry Z10 for sale or swap. Bought new and about 3 months old. Works perfectly. 08034260079. ...call and whatsapp |
Utter rubbish! Those of u commending this thrash n crap are responsible for all these networks taking us for granted. Glo tried my foot! 350mb for 1k! What a review! Glo, a very stingy indigenous company leading other foreign coys in the league to milk us dry! Why is the cost of Internet services so high in Nigeria? Adenuga once boasted that the amount he made in profit from Conoil in a month, he made from Glo in a week! Isn't that instructive enough for us to know that these guys are making an input of 1 but getting an output of 1000? Why are some of us having a kind of "suffering and smiling" mentality. As far as am concerned, am gonna keep bombarding them until they sell 1g for N200 because even at that they will still be making a huge profit margin. Garrulous task masters! |
Pls where I stay, Etisalat does not have a 3g network but only Edge. So how do I benefit and enjoy this package still in terms of speed and others? |
I have been using it and it is what am using to make this post. Most CCAs don't even know half as much as we the customers. They are blackheads. All they know is bastardised grammar. Fools! |
Should we plug our phone and standby it? I think this is just an isolated case |
Thread owner and others, why reply this fool thereby giving him undue attention. He will feel he's important when he is not. That is a pointer to the fact that he is either an undercover agent for one of these repressive ntwk providers or a tor bb owner. Can't u feel the envy and bitterness in his posts? He sure needs pity and not attention. Pray for him for his finances to improve so as to be able to afford an android device and be able to run it. Very soon, the isps will come out with a favourable android plan and then the likes of this anti - progressive will take a good dive into the lagoon! |
If they like let them increase it to 1000%. I care less. I hate glo with a passion. Imagine an indigenous company leading others in the group to unleash harsh market on the subscribers! MTN and other ISPs are following the culture of glo. Glo is very stingy, unnecessarily expensive but with poor service delivery. Dubious promos is their trademark! What they give u with the right hand, they'll quickly take back via the left. Ole (thief) onijibiti (swindler) |
Which 7-day free browsing are u talking about? Does MTN give even a day of free browsing? |
Apologise for what? And which ISP did he rubbish? Tell me one ISP that is not worth much more than rubbishing in Nigeria. If u are conveniently pleased with their services, I wanna tell you, millions aren't. Apology my foot! |
The last poster is damn right! Airtel actually sent the sms and they were really prepared to effect it. The garrulous and arrogant defence of the threat by one of Airtel's recalcitrant agent on nl lends credence to this fact. However, the counter-threats, counter - intimidation and above all, sense of reasoning and superior arguments by the teeming Nigerian subscribers are all that is keeping the implementation of the sms on hold till date (if it is true that it is on hold because I don't browse with Airtel. I hate the network). I personally made it a duty to post at least one intimidating comments on the Airtel's fb page per day just like many other subscribers. That is the strength of collective responsibility. NCC is a toothless bulldog, so we should hold our Internet destinies in our hands. |
Pls anybody from ado - ekiti using this yet should comment because Etisalat does not have a 3g network here yet and without 3g u can't enjoy android surfing. |
Yeye! Utter rubbish! I no want. MTN? The wicked irresponsible network dashes u something and u are excited? MTN that will give u something with the right hand while the left is ever ready to snatch it back. believe me, there are one thousand and one ways through which this can happen 1. You can be frustrated by a snail - speed browsing with the awoof until u abandon it with about 950MB unspent! 2. After spending 20MB, u can discover the awoof isn't browsing again. Check ur balance and what do u see?...0.00MB! 3. You can outrightly receive an sms congratulating u for the 1GB awoof, immediately check *559# only to see no free data! 4....and so on! I had severally been given such stuff and most times, I couldn't use them. Useless network |
A neat Samsung Galaxy S3 and BlackBerry Z10 for sale in Ekiti. .Ado - ekiti to be precise. The Z10 is less than 3 months old while the s3 is about 6 months old both neat and in perfect working conditions. If u are interested, please contact me via 08148694101. Thanks |
Beautiful idea! I want to suggest that we copy whatever we post there on their pages and paste here for us to read and strategise. They will definitely feel the heat and have a rethink. Guys, pls bombard them. Here is what I posted on the Etisalat page: Etisalat, your network services are the poorest yet you reel in self over estimation of being among the best! When you first started u were very fantastic but a little later, u decided to join the bandwagon and am sure u are feeling the pains now. You remain stagnant in a dynamic gsm world making urself pleasant with the obsolete 2g services when in other saner climes, they are researching on 5g! You concentrate on the mega cities leaving other places with very poor services yet u spend a whooping sum in advertisement and publicity for products and services that are substandard! You hate android users with a passion yet u over pamper the bb owners with their device that will soon go into extinction! I can only pity u for not learning from the mistakes of ur sister brand, Airtel which has been sold several times and yet unable to find its feet due to poor market strategies and harsh customer relationship. You will soon go the way of Airtel if u fail to heed our advice. improve on your services by upgrading to 3g to start with, everywhere in the country. then come up with a favourable and affordable plans for the android users such as 3 gig data for 1k or even less and see how u will smile to the bank. Jettison this advice and u are doomed! A word is enough for the wise. |
I don't even have one let alone breaking it. What will I do with such a useless network as Airtel anyway |
If truly ur bosses are here also on nl and they close their eyes to ur rudeness and recklessness running ur mouth like a water tap, then it leaves much to be desired and speaks volumes of the kind of hierarchical discipline in this organisation called Airtel. Time will tell |
Read the forum very well, bro. |
....u claimed u did want to be insulted, yet u insulted us when u called the legitimate complaints of a people "rantings and irateness". Violence begets violence, and insult too is reciprocal. A good back end staff which u laid claim to should have a good sense of dousing tension and calming frayed nerves, not a garrulous, boisterous and reckless type like u. Let's wait and see what happens to Airtel in the months to come. Back end staff my foot! |
I hate this guy's guts! He talked as if he owned Nigeria! Sheer arrogance and loads of disrespect to those whose monies pay your salary! Any fault of urs? Nay! We have an insensitive government in this country so, network providers like Airtel and others can choose to hold subscribers in servitude. If not, this charlatan in the garb of a lousy customer care agent wouldn't have come here to insult the sensibilities of multitudes of subscribers just because he can speak some grammar. He bluffed too much for my liking! U claimed u did ur survey or whatever before coming out with this obnoxious transfer and u concluded it wasn't going to have any negative effects on ur subscriber base! How naive and be clouded ur sense of reasoning are! You tried, albeit in an infantile fashion, to compare ur moribund Airtel to MTN that has remained so stable and has stood the test of time. Recall how many times Airtel had been sold over each time with a change of name and yet it's still struggling to survive? I don't and won't ever use Airtel sim for anything. For ur information, the worst MTN signal is better than the best Airtel signal and so it is all over the country. A yoruba adage will say "A nroju j'eko obun, obun tun nda eko e kere" meaning we are forcing ourselves to eat the pap made by a dirty woman, yet, she makes it expensive! If truly u are a CCA, then you are a bad one and a good example of how not to be a CCA. Pple like u will bring misfortune to the organisations u represent because u don't know how to appeal to the sensibilities of subscribers who indirectly put food on ur table. If Airtel is sold again, you are doomed! |
I don't understand u plz. |
some people are evil - minded like the evil governor himself. They see the PDP's gesture to the poor widow as mere propaganda and feel the woman does not deserve the largesse from the PDP except they gather all Edo widows and give each 250000! How many of the widows suffered the same humiliation ,persecution and harassment this woman passed through in the hands of the shortie and his wicked foot soilders? How many of them had their whole wares, their entire means of livelihood siezed by these oppressive governor in the presence of a helpless crowd? This woman deserves much more than the PDP is even offering. I knew people will be quick to draw some unsavoury political inferences out of this kind gesture but it shouldn't be so. All Nigerian politicians may be the same but let us commend an act such as this |
Hmmm! When it comes to ntwk signals, ilesa is nowhere to be found. All networks are as good as inexistent in Ilesa. ilesa is my hometown and ordinarily, I feel nostalgic here in ado where I work and I should be happy each time am home - bound going to Ilesa but when I remember the sorry state of network signals there I am sad. For MTN, there is no clear - cut 3g network in Ilesa! Even the 2g that is available is not good enough to open the Google homepage let alone a large Internet page! U can't even make ordinary calls with ease! That is how bad it is in Ilesa. The reverseisthecase in ile-ife. Paradoxically ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola the incumbent governor is from ilesa! Shame! |
@drogba what do u mean by accumulated 6gb over 2 months |
I had my note 2 rooted but now I learnt Samsung is rolling out the android o's 4.3 to the international version of note 2. This 4.3 has a lot of nice features. Pls how do I unroot my note 2 so as to be able to update to 4.3 over the air? |
But I don't think the bbcday works again on the android. They will promptly deduct ur money but it won't work. |
