What is EFS folder and where exactly is it located on the storage?

Hmmmm! I want to believe it is true sha. However I wanna ask the reason why after normally subscribing to BBCDAY and immediately I try downloading a file then mtn data just gets disconnected and re connected at random in order to frustrate my download when actually I have not reached the fair usage limit! This is grossly unfair callous and wicked from mtn

Jidesm is a victim of circumstance...an honest representative of a dishonest and fraudulent network provider! Everything about mtn is fraud and deceit. Many times in the past mtn will tell me immediately I recharged my account that I had been credited with a bonus of certain amount but on checking using the appropriate code I won't see a dime there. I had been told severally to load at least 100 naira and get an instant bonus of 500. I did but got no bonus! U will send an sms that fails to deliver yet ur account will be debited! You will have an active data subscription yet mtn will continue charging ur main account! It is an endless list. Mtn is the only seller who his client will tell that he has finished using the last product he bought and wants to buy another one and the seller will say no u can't buy another one until I set u free! Stupid network

Jidesm is filtering the questions and problems to know which ones to respond to. There are quite a bunch of them that are beyond him. I only pity the guy. He is really trying his best but the fact remains that he himself sometimes does not know more than the ordinary customer becos the network he represents is shrouded in mystery. I have asked a lot of questions from some customer care agents and got the funny response of "I don't know either" meaning that there are a lot of operations and activities of mtn that their cc agents are either not aware of or outrightly can not explain!Yet they must keep their jobs. We have asked jidesm severally here how to deactivate an active but "dataless" sim on bis so as to re subscribe but he has cleverly avoided it possibly becos his employers have changed tactics of which he is ignorant. If not a suicidal business strategy, why would a client say pls I have exhausted ur product I bought, clear me so I can buy another one and the seller would say no, u can't buy another one yet until the time allocated to the previous one expires! Arrant nonsense!

All the reasonable pple on nairaland have spoken and they spoke my mind....all of them!The most pathetic thing is that this man Suntai is completely oblivious of the toy his handlers led by his wife have turned him to. Women love power much more than their hubbies who actually own it. And from history, the wives of most of the dead leaders actually killed them albeit unconsciously. Yaradua was inadvertently sent to his early grave by Turai because of her lust for power grip. That man spent weeks outside his aso rock residence in a vehicle "dead" but alive thru live support gadgets while his avaricious and power-crazy wife slept inside until the doctors from Saudi became home sick and disconnected the support machine and the man was certified clinically dead! Hauwa and her co-collaborators will end up quickening her husband's death but by extension hasten her own exit from the government house. Then the stubborn hen would still go home to roost!

He hasn't done anything wrong or out of the ordinary. Except that he was hasty about it and I think the haste was borne out of his passion to assist his fellow nairalanders. But next time do crosscheck and be doubly sure of your claim before rushing to make public ur findings. kudos

@jidesm why this selective treatment of pending cases for God's sake. To be fair I think u should have started the treatment from where you paused. I said I needed to re subscribe for bis but the current one is yet to expire. How do I get it deactivated to do a fresh sub pls?

Jidesm pls how do I deactivate my bis subscription that has reached fair usage threshold but still active so as to make a fresh subscription?

For those of you who complain of regular disconnection and reconnection of mobile data on mtn with droidvpn,it has nothing to do with network signal or droidvpn server. The simple truth is that u have reached the fair usage limit and yet ur active bis subscription still subsists. So mtn frustrates u by intermittently disconnecting the mobile network signal and reconnecting same almost immediately especially when u want to make a download or load a large page. To confirm send STATUS to 26100 and see if u are not within the fair usage limit. Or better still, get another sim put it in ur phone and subscribe to BBCDAY and see if there will be disruption of network till u get to the threshold or not. Yeye network!

Its total rubbish! Do u call that compensation. Now listen: since mtn has put a data cap on every single plan it means u still can't use more than the limit of the cap. Why did they not add data value as compensation if they were sincere. Means If ur subscription was on fair usage threshold before the disruption, the compensation doesn't have any impact on ur sub. Foolish stingy network!

Thanks Jidesm but the response u gave wasn't commensurate with the issues I raised. If u read the last part of my post I wrote there that I did try to subscribe to the same BBCDAY on a friend's bb yet to no avail. I will also like to point mtn attention to the fact that the number of the pple using Android and other devices currently outweighs that of those using bb. Bb is fast disappearing into oblivion and mtn is still hanging on to the archaic tradition of dedicating a special and very favourable plan to this fading device! In a sane clime where innovation, foresight and customer comfort drive the network providers, even more favourable plans would have been given to android and iPhone users considering their growing number but the opposite obtains here. Mtn is a too rigid, customer unfriendly and highly deceitful network. Consider the lousy WAO weekend stuff in which mtn purportedly doubles ur recharge, but it is a fraud because u will discover that the rate at which they deduct ur moni almost triples the normal deduction. if u load a 200 card and it doubles to 400 it can't sustain a 4 minute call before it finishes. Mtn has the most enemies among the Nigerian subscribers. To me it is a network of last resort

@jidesm I loaded a recharge pin and I was given a bonus of 1500 on the line which mtn said was going to expire that same day. To my surprise when I made calls instead of deducting from the bonus account mtn was deducting from my main account until the following day wen the bonus expired! On my second line I have a 300 bonus which had been there for over a week now but which I have not been able to use. What is wrong?
Secondly I have been trying to subscribe to mtn bis on my android since yesterday but no response. I tried on a friends bb but same problem!

Don't know if this happens to u too but for the past 2 weeks now droidvpn on mtn bis has never been stable here...even with premium subscription. The moment u are loading a fairly large page, downloading a file or streaming a video u will just notice the data connection disappears followed by droidvpn disconnection and eventual disruption of whatever u are doing and immediately it will reconnect again with the return of mtn data network but u will have to start whatever u were doing all over again.
pls lets discuss this to find the cause and possible solution.

For the past 2 weeks my droidvpn connection has been cutting and reconnecting almost every minute. The network from mtn will first go and come with the droidvpn disconnection and reconnection. U can't even download a 2mb file successfully or load a newspaper page smoothly without a cut in connection. pls what is responsible and how does one correct it? I have an active bis and premium droidvpn subscription. Thanks

Pls guys a friend sent me a link to sideloading for android applications on my z10 and on getting there i saw beautiful applications quite alright but each time I clicked install button it says "can't install z10bars.net..." and when I downloaded it the reply was "can't open...." Please what do I do

You cannot possibly get used to a phone or know all the features of it by merely reading the abstract on the net, via adverts or just picking a friend's phone and running ur fingers on it for a few seconds or even minutes. You need to actually own the device urself. You've got to own a SGS3 and S4 for a detailed, objective and credible comparative analysis of the two powerful devices. I own both and by virtue of that I believe I am in a good stead to speak authoritatively on both and with my vast experience in phone use. To compare S4 with S3 is to say the least a gross mismatch. comparing S4 with SG Note 2 would have been a bit more appropriate (becos I own this device too). S4 is light years ahead of S3 in every sense of the statement and that is the reason I desperately want to sell off my s3 to use only the note 2 and s4. The 2Gig RAM, 13 megapix camera, increased battery power, screen clarity and many other innovative features of the S4 can NEVER be replicated in the S3 variety via a mere upgrade or software update. Except someone is telling me that u can update nokia asha to function exactly like the lumia variety thru same update!
