Dembele is so far looking like that elusive successor.

For now he's the closest since the past 10 years to anything that could ease off Messi's burden.

Maybe after Ney sha.

Dembele is the future. What he needs is a coach who will bring out the best in him and make him independent of Messi, and of course a good brain to keep him disciplined.

When I posted this since last year September that #PasstoMessi tactics is all about Messi creating and scoring @ the expense of other players in the team, some mofos here tagged me a Ronaldo fan.

I noticed this way back in 2012/13 when Messi scored 91 goals and no other forward scored up till 25 goals. MSN changed that tactics, Neymar scored like 40 goals that season and we won treble. Since Neymar left, we went back to #PasstoMessi tactics which can NEVER delivered UCL.

That's why Argentina will NEVER win a title as long as the tactics is #PasstoMessi tactics. Messi will score all the goals and assists, but Aguero, Higuain will put on Suarez's current form and play rubbish.

Our problems are...

1. Suarez

2. #PasstoMessi even if you are facing an open net.

3. #PasstoMessi has reduced the creativity of our midfielders especially Rakitic and Busquets who used to play killer passes before

4. I can't remember the last time our wingers or full backs cross the ball for players in the box to tap home

5. No plan B tactics or players on the bench to change the game in times of need

6. All the 5 problems above center on just one man... EV

Also my main fear is the ball movement.. Barça's game has always been about quick movement of the ball with quick thinking players.. The ball isn't moving fast enough and so it's difficult controlling the game throughout so the next thing is to return default setting which is pass to Messi.

Quick ball movement will solve this issue short term.

EV has killed most creative aspects of our players as everyone now #PasstoMessi even if there's an open net to score. Like someone said, we're stuck with EV till 2021.

Big teams in Europe are seeing this clearly and they know very well that if they can mark out Messi, they'll have a chance of winning.

Dembele is the only player when fully fit to play with his brain without depending on Messi. Despite playing for 15 mins and not fully fit, he had a shot on target, something Suarez couldn't do in 90 minutes.

All things being equal, Dembele's form and EV's formation will be very crucial in this perilous February - May season.
