A40:That their defense is just beautiful even considering they missed Robertson yesterday I think one of them should move to the bench probably Melo. He's the most underwhelming so far mainly from all the work he put in the off season. Also, he appears to be the shooter, catch and shoot, streak and a decent guy off the bounds. Him and Felton will smoke people... |
Thunder vs Pacers. Have to take a quick nap not to miss this game. Two teams that contrast each other One team is having a surprising bad season while the other is having a surprising good season One team chokes a lead while the other team is one of the best in comebacks this season One has bad 4th quarter performances while the other does the opposite Then if that isn't enough, we have Ygtrece vs Oladipo Can't wait... |
SmooshCHN:Yes oooo Watch this space for awa championship ring ![]() |
SalamRushdie:Read through the thread. 3 people from different parts of Ketu have corroborated the original guy's story. What is there in 22 hours that I should be proud of or lie about? Izzit uninterrupted? |
SalamRushdie:Oga, shut up if you don't live in Ketu I stay there and I get 22 hours of light daily..n |
We are on a 3 game streak!!!! 62-20 loading...
|
VivaLaByke:More trash Are you talking about the guy that's the best 3 point shooter this season? Or the guy that has the most efficient 4th quarter this season? Or the guy that drops 6 more ppg more than Lonzo while playing less minutes? The guy that has made Celtics offense better? That guy? Like I said before: Tatum's 4th quarter is bigger than Lonzo's career. Take am how you like am |
TooMuchSauce:We dey hope say the guy go improve. But for someone that isn't top 5 in rookie rankings anywhere, getting more hype than Simmons, Mitchell and even his fellow teammate istew mush. Akant take it... |
For all the moves Celtics made, they kept Marcus Smart. The annoying part is that he thinks he's Allen Iverson... |
VivaLaByke:You shoulda passed it to Super Saiyan to make that shot ![]() https://thumbs.gfycat.com/MealySparklingCrab-size_restricted.gif |
VivaLaByke:Just look at what the rubbish you're typing. Is this amateur hour? So Tatum na walking corpse abi? Tatum's 4th quarter alone is better than Lonzo's career. See it as you deem fit The DeAaron Fox that is getting outplayed by a midget named Frank Mason IIIThank youuuuuuu. I was trying to remember this guy's name. This second unit dude that destroyed Cavs Lonzo dey 8th position now Dennis Smith Jr is currently not a better overall basketball player than Lonzo Ball....The NBA doesn't agree with you... Analysts no agree with you... Even LeBron James no agree with you... But sure na one Byke from Nairaland has a better opinion. Let him use his playmaking abilities to play the 4th quarter This is my own ladder here, for now: 1) Simmons 2) Mitchell 3) Tatum 4) Kuzma 5) Markannen 6) Dennis Smith Jr 7) Frank Mason III 8 D'Aaron 9) LONZOOOOOOOO, Super Saiyan. Next ![]() |
VivaLaByke:This debate stopped the moment you said Lonzo is better than Taytum. You can add D'Aaron and Dennis Smith Jr. How many remain? Okay, Lonzo pass Jordan Bell cos of the minutes. Congratulations, you win, hin dey 7th position... 8.6points per game.Sorry oooo. I didn't know he has a new career high. Along with his 32% FG, 25% 3 point and 47% FT, he's really come a long way. Ndo. You win again He did not play the fourth quarter yesterday because Jordan Clarkson was hootttt and it made sense to allow him finish the game so we could get the W.You mean Lonzo was playing bad you guys didn't want to get the L? Issa lie. It hasn't happened before. I refuse to believe... Worry about your franchise getting up to 25wins this season.Ha. Mr 60+ wins, sir. I hail you sir I can see you on top of the conference and heading to the playoffs. I apologize again It wee not repeat itself ![]() |
VivaLaByke:The Simmons is going to the All Star and playoffs. He's putting up good numbers for a first year PG and will be rookie of the Year. There are at least 7 more rookies behind him before your Saiyan Worry about your 3ppg rookie that cannor play 4th quarter. Tanxs |
Who watched that Rockets 4th Q?'That team no wan give up that no 1 seed ooooo. CP3 and Harden playing together na the most dangerous backcourt this year abeg. Ben Simmons needs to work on his jumper. This is modern NBA; midrange is so needed. If you don't know this now, we have a longer winning streak than Cavs and Celtics. Bulls are about to go 62-20, therefore we are gonna get that ring. Loading, baybbbbehhhhhhhhh ![]() |
Roland17:His return has been shifted to Saturday unfortunately ![]() |
Roland17:The guy go dey for minutes restriction aha But Brown and Morris nko? |
Kawhi will be back on Friday against Celtics. Finally... |
rotimi9:Correction. Harden is 3rd in assists. The Curry injury may take him out of the race. The Isaiah Thomas comeback may take Bron out of the race. The only way I probably see Harden threatened is if Kyrie picks it up... |
UlrikVandram:
|
UlrikVandram:Sure. Rockets can keep up with Celtics... |
osazsky:Lol. Manchester United don qualify since. You sabi wetin be head to head? They have that over Basel already |
Eruditor:Nah, with him. Spurs won't even reach 60 wins if he doesn't play. Good news is He'll get to play before the week runs out hopefully. IT is coming back the following week too. Fingers crossed |
Eruditor:Lol. KAT na the real hype. That guy has been abysmal like I predicted after that Jimmy trade. No iota of defense in that one. Defense has always been a strong factor for a player. If you're not so good offensively, defense has helped built some players. A player in top 3 of both with a peak season ahead of him shouldn't be trifled with Then again, I don't think Spurs would have had a better regular season than Rockets. Kawhi can give them an extra 3 wins considering the Ls they have had. But some of those same games they lost with him (OKC for e.g) - Just like Harden (Rockets beat GSW first regular season game last year 132-127).I don't know about which team finishes better but from the games Spurs have played on the road, 4 extra wins woulda been possible with Kawhi. Remember when Kawhi was healthy 2 seasons ago and Spurs ended up with 67-15? Spurs would probably go 65+ wins this season from what I've watched. As for CP3s inclusion you are right; but then Rockets had that patch of Ws where they won without him. I think he adds only only max 10 more wins to their last season's of 55.I see Rockets finishing with 67 wins this season don't know about you. In fact, I see three teams finishing 65+ wins in WC if all players were healthy. But injuries aren't a myth Actually GSW have the best defensive efficiency and points differential. We are on 283 to Rockets 250 but they have 3 games to make that up easily. In the same way, they can win those games by 10 each and still be 3 behind. Or even worse, can lose one of those games and have only 1 game on us.The points differential I meant were game averages. Rockets have Warriors beat there I am actually not making my case for GSW. On current form, the deadliest teams should be Rockets at 1, and Celts at 2. For the very fact that they too have played many teams people thought would beat them yet they won. Recall, they lost by 3 or 1 against Cavs in game 1 of the regular season - at Cavs ground after having lost Hayward on the same day.I'm using CURRENT form to access their potency. I believe if both teams meet right now, Cavs would have the upper hand again. |
Eruditor:Harden has been making his point I do agree about that. However, Kawhi brings something that he doesn't, a better defense. He's also better in efficiency and close out games. There were projections prior to the season on these players: Kawhi, Giannis and Harden were meant to have a peak season while others were said to keep up with the momentum. Only Kristaps has done more than he should. If Kawhi were healthy, he'd be having a Giannis season on a Spurs team that's 5-6 on the road. That'd be on par if not better than Harden. Though Harden has contributed to their blowouts this year, CP3 intake has more to do with it. I already put the numbers last season when Harden had little to no difference on their +/- even with their 50+ win season. Well, CP3 is averaging a crazy assist/TO ratio in his 8 games for Rockets, where they are 8-0, made 18 or more 3s and hold the highest differential of any team. Harden has never felt much relief. If everything stays the same, you can bet on that MVP... Will ITs presence reduce Bron's number? It is supposed to, but then everyone said so when the trades were being made - including after Kyrie left. The consensus was, that he was on his way out to LA and would only push himself in the playoffs. Time has proven that fractionally untrue. What would you have LeBron do when you're 5-7 and sitting outside the playoff spots? He'd to put up crazy numbers especially in the 4th to get back into playoff contention. Or that game against Wizards following a 3 game losing streak? Not only him, Love and Wade have been insane throughout this run. All of them especially Bron have their minutes in the red mark plus their usage rates are through the roof. These stars adjusted to make up that 20+ ppg player that's missing. Are the Cavs the second deadliest team in the world right now? Highly contested considering the teams they are beating are being pummeled by others as well. Pistons, Hawks, Bulls are ninnies no offense to them. Philly just lost a home game to Phoenix. Wizards got blitzed by Denver Nuggets. These teams are playing Cavs at opposite sides of the form sheet. I can't make a case for them. They're on a 12 win run, blowing out some teams people thought they'd lose or be close. Lose Curry and Shaun Livingston and you'd agree a 12 game winning streak is a big deal. I'd place Celtics 3rd and Warriors after them mostly because of Kerr. I definitely agree that Rockets are the deadliest team though. But then, they are using little rotations and playing their star players to a halt. The regular season is a marathon.CP3 running the second unit is ingenious. Harden and those showers are lighting everyone up. If they'd better shot selection in their transition plays, then they'd be something. I never thought I'd see the day Fun fact; number of games with 130 points and above this season? Nearest contenders Rockets have (2). Rest of NBA together ( I think 2 too - need to check) GSW have (5). And this is supposed to be a bad season.Number of points don't matter if you get to win by a close game in some of them. Rockets have the best point differential and I think second best defensive efficiency. I still believe Warriors will have the top seed only if Curry is healthy. Let's just hope the MRI will show up as day to day. |
Mehn, I blame Kawhi and IT for making this MVP a two man race... Everybody knew this was Kawhi's year. Spurs probably would be 1st in standings and that guy would lead the MVP race or be tied at 1, whichever. And IT for letting Bron have historic numbers. An old Bron with an improved jumper is gold. Even Love's 100% post op is back. Wade sef don dey play like that Wade we sabi. He's the 6th man of the Year currently. The Cavs are the 2nd deadliest team in the NBA RIGHT NOW (behind Rockets); not Warriors or Celtics. Abeg it's late for Kawhi but IT should do and come back, reduce Bron's numbers and consequently blow this MVP race open. Make next week reach abeg... P.S: If we're talking about the word, MVP in the definitive form with the impact and numbers this season, it's Curry. Too bad there are other players putting up "spotlight" stats |
Curry, 2000 3s in his 597th game. 8th player to ever do so. Best 3 point shooter on the planet. Debate a wall... Just hope that ankle is okay Warriors: King of the 3rd.... |
For a supposed leader that should "carry" his team in the absence of AD, Cousins is doing a bad job. 7th T and counting. Appalling |
Man like Kyrie... |
UlrikVandram:Shattap!
|
Booker.... Just small play oooo |
Lonzo dropping a 1/10 performance this half......yet again. One good game deserves as much hype as his many bad games Byke, coman watch your franchise bayyyybehhhhhhhh |

;DYou play too much, haba now. Lonzo has mad potentials though; Jason Kidd had a similarly tumultuous start in his rookie campaign - so that's an easy excuse for the Lakers faithfuls.
