Finally, I have watched the Cameroon game four times as I write. My takings:
1) Onazi is grossly underrated by Nigerian fans. His all action style and hustle is unmatched. I mean, this guy was chancing the bigger Cameroonians. While Mikel was on the pitch he made sure to release the ball on time to Mikel.
2) If Cameroon decide that because they are home they want to rush Nigeria, they may even lose worse than they did at Uyo. Infact, if I were Broos I'd tell my players to be patient just as they always were at AFCON and CONFEDS. I don't know why they decided to rush Nigeria.
3) After South Africa, Nigeria is the next best counter attacking team in Africa. I would have said we are the best, but SA has mastered that act so perfectly.
4) Although, it's a heart warming news to hear that Aina has been cleared, I won't touch that team except for injuries.

I expect us to qualify in Yauonde with a win cos I don't really see Zambia winning in Constantine due to the deep-freezing cold.

My brother I tend to stay away from any argument wey no de add value e.g. Iheanacho vs Ighalo, training drill vs game day. How e take epp Naija. Glad for the win. I said it that Naija would win based in the time we played them. Had it been we played them in February or 2 weeks after confeds e for hard us. But any time span more than 2 months resets a team's chemistry.

A win in a Yaounde and a Zambia and Algeria draw over 2 legs 2ould make Naija the 5th team to qualify for Russia. Can't wait.

We shouldn't peddle lies just to press home a point. Here's a link to the SA team list yesterday, tell me anyone you can recognize. But you just responded to this guy "same team".

Truth is that even our strongest squad with Mikel and Co. may be humilated by SA. We just want to fail to realize that they have caught up in terms of having a formidable team.

Icons you been de Kickoff? I can never forget ome JudgeDredd guy like this. It was epic. If what we use here is ak47 and rocket launcher, kickoff was nuclear bomb. On kickoff, men de leave ball just to insult people's full life.
But we should try and at least tone it down on here tho...

Icon4s:
Not that I am encouraging insults here but what we see here as insults are like complements when compared with what we saw at Kickoffnigeria and Kickoffghana.

That one na international war!

Thank God those sites have been shut-down because as SA beat us eh I for no fit sleep for one week! Those were the days that I could utter any words to defend my beloved country. Ow, that was a time we were being branded as "Super Chickens". Then I fit kill any person wey mentioned that name.

Well, gone are the days.

We should try not to take anything that happens here too seriously. That is how I cope.

We do not have a final say. We are just discussing and sharing opinions.

Talking about victimization and being in almost every body's wrong books. I think I was the first person here to fall into such a situation.

The way I criticised Iheanacho's hype here? I almost got shot with e-guns because of the phrase 'he is not yet there'. I even received a one week ban 'for comment made on sports section' of which I don't understand why till date.

I was about the only person that criticised the Manu led 2015 U20 class here. In fact I recall how I warned us here against Brazil while making reference to Chile '87. Some thought I was high on something.

Nobody wins a prize for winning an argument here. Objectivity should be the watch word. If you know how close Emmanuel Amuneke and I were while growing up you would wonder why I should come here to criticize his 2017 U20 selection.

Sometimes I feel for forgiveness (sincerely) but he should also try not to get too sentimentally attached to issues here. Nothing we discuss here is executed anywhere so it doesn't matter.

Forgiveness you no receive jabs here reach me o. So just calm down. TheSuperNerd is what he is: a young and intelligent analyst. Some times he gets carried away by the passion to defend his points and in the process words that may sound unpleasant to some will start flying. But I also respect him for something. He knows when to stop. I am making reference to forgiveness and TheSuperNerd because their argument today led to the current "bruhaha" we have this evening.

And Forgiveness, you have declared war on me but I just dey look you. I have decided not to quote you or respond to your jabs because I don't take them serious. That's the truth.

Nuff said. Where are oga Joseph1013, terzurum5, Okpekyandega and which other one again sef?

In the next 3 months I expect to see hin with Mohawk with his head fried and all that. Nithing against the hairstyle as I've also worn it in the past but I'm just trying to point something out that Nigerian players tend to lose focus once they've gone abroad especially this newer generation players. I hope Obinna is focused cos I see massive potential in this boy. I really liked his MF combo with Matthews and idowu in Senegal. Talking of Idowu where is that very disciplined number 4. That is too disciplined that I know he could go his whole career without ever scoring a goal but u damn sure not to concede as many.

Lemme state it here, I am afraid of this CMR team to the bone marrow. What they did to Egypt is what they did to Australia - they wear the hell out of you with their super running. Infact this team can run for 120 mims non stop. The Aussies at some point couldn't run with the ball. They resorted to short and aimless passing.
After watching CMR, I'd put Musa or Etebo on Echejile's wing for support as they have the strength and stamina to pace up and down.
If Germany doesn't pick a result today against Chile, watch how Bassagog would yeye Jonas Hector when they play. That's how good we'd realise this Bassagog guy is.
I can't seem to recollect their number 3 Zambo Anguissa at the Nations cup. But wherever he surfaced from he's made CMR a whole lot stronger.
Truth be said, I de fear them oooooo
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 6:00pm On Jun 22, 2017
Iheanacho and 9 just finds a way not to sit well with me. I chose the false 9 role for him cos Etebo and Moses have goals in them coming from the wings. But if Iheanacho should play 9, then i may sacrifice Ajagun and bring in Ideye to support Nacho. I'd just play 2 MFs.

Mickael2:
I don't need to tell you that I will switch Onazi with Ndidi. and if you play a false nine, you need another player who can score very well playing in one of the wings so that when the false nine moves forward the winger can take up his position and still score, So I'd rather just have Iheanacho in the 9 role or if he doesn't pick up form by then I'd bring in Kayode
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 2:51pm On Jun 22, 2017
I thought I was the onky person probably over reacting regarding Iwobi. I'm glad someone else would place Etebo in the wings ahead of Rohr. Well I believe Ndidi is a great talent, however I would utilize him in the LB position for now (afterall he played there for Genk in his initial season). There's something about Onazi's game I like when he plays with Mikel. Mikel lacks energy and pace but Onazi has that in abundance and seems to always pass to Mikel when they play together. So in Lieu of that, I'd like to see a team of:
Ikeme; Shehu RB, Balogun & Troost CBs, Ndidi LB; Onazi DM, Mikel (anywhere in MF), Ajagun (AM/CM) Etebo/Aluko (LWF), V.Moses (RWF), Iheanacho (False9). We'd play without a point man. We'd just using roamers going forward.

Mickael2:
nice one.

however I believe we can be able to give Mikel a free role in the team. that is he will neither be the AMF or CMF he plays wherever he finds himself at that particular time, in such a scenario I would advocate for Ajagun's inclusion. Aluko is good as an AMF but as an all rounder ie CMF and AMF combined I think Ajagun gets the nod truth be told he isn't bad at all, not to mention his work ethics too, he hustlers for the ball and even before he wins the ball he has already seen who he is going to pass the ball to. I think he can do what Etebo did against Algeria while also adding creativity to it so that Etebo can start playing his natural position for us, the LWF and Iwobi? Well he may have to start working really hard
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 2:00pm On Jun 22, 2017
I like this Ajagun's style of play a lot. I have 2 answers to this - My fantasy and what I know Rohr would do. In Mikel"s absence

1) My fantasy would be either Ajagun, Aluko or drop Nacho to the 10 role. Nacho has the ability to pass and score. Aluko would give you a crazy work rate and some passint, Ajagun would give you guile and passing range but forget about him scoring. My pick would be Aluko anytime anyday.

2) But reality in Mikel's absence would be Rohr would play Etebo or Iwobi there. Iwobi has started making me mad these days that I don't even want to see him in the team for a while. As for Etebo, he just showed in the SA game that he's just a hustler only. My pick depends on the opposition. African opponents - Etebo. Any other continent I could manage Iwobi.

TheSuperNerd:
Ajagun won't play against Cameoroun naa.... we are talking about Mikel's Absence....

If Mikel is not available, then who should be brought in for the AM role? There is Iwobi... but he is played as the team's left winger/left wing forward..

There is Aluko... but haven't been invited yet.

There is Ajagun... also haven't been invited.

After the Cameroun games, we ought to look at how we can integrate a player for Mikel's role should he be absent again.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 1:45pm On Jun 22, 2017
He had a good chance in Holland and in Turkey. But now that's he's in Hungary he should forget it. Going to Hungary doesn't speak too well of his talent. That's just my opinion. I think I currently rate Omeruo better than Otigba cos Omeruo missed games in Kasimpasa due to card suspensions. But Otigba was benched fot the second half of the season. I think he played only 2 league games from January till May. Infact when he was playing last year they were losing a lot. But when they restored Titi back to the line up they stabilized their winnings. That says a lot of his defending. In Hungary? I doubt Rohr knows they have a league.

TheSuperNerd:
Don't mind some forumites here.... I too have been clamouring for Otigba but fact is his performances and stats last season are below par.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 1:40pm On Jun 22, 2017
I didn't need to watch to the end to know that Ajagun is a damn good AMF. He is that connector btw MF and Attack. He passes very well, he's always on time to pop up and shoot. I watched a couple of his games last season he was good but his team was just too leaky in the back. Well he's on loan from Panathanaikos. I hope they sell him. But as for SE, lets forget it, he won't be invited as long as Mikel still states that he's playing for SE. Rohr may never put a newbie in that AM position after what SA did to us. If na you, you go put new person there? But Ajagun can make a good case by going to a top team in either France or Belgium, he has the talent to succeed there. E.g. could be Marseille, Nice, Genk, or Liege. I'd be glad to see him in SE but I know Rohr won't invite him

And whatever makes u happy as well. If you feel Ndidi was the CMF and Onazi was the DMF, that's possibly ur opinion and how you choose to draw the formation up. Let me explain something, no coach gives out his team shape to any tv pundit. All coaches or designated team personel do leading up to a game is that they hand out the names of the 11 players. What(how)ever a skysports, fox, bein, espn choose to arrange the team list is down to sheer speculation oir their pundits. That's why ever station does a simulation and state "here is how we THINK they'd play". Coaches sometimes do explain their approach after the games. That's how we know Conte switched to a 343 formation cos he explained it. Same with Wenger cos they explained it... But based on what I saw in the SA game, Onazi was a CMF to me and Ndidi was supposed to be the DMF, but did he play like one? That's up in d air to be debated. No one on this forum knows what happened except to speculate how the MF was set up. Except Rohr explains how he set the team up which I have not rest at this point. So if it makes u happy that Onazi was DMF or even a defender, that's your view.

Mickael2:
first you said there was no DMF now you are saying we had two DMFs whatever makes you happy bro
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 9:40pm On Jun 20, 2017
Naaaa. Ndidi and Onazi started oit as the DMFs, if there's a case to be made then it was even Onazi that was more advanced of the 2. Ndidi only started going forward more when we were losing and Onazi being the person with more stamina had the ability to pace up and down the MF. When we were losong there was no designated DM.

Mickael2:
please name one actual team that plays without a dmf. how can you have two dmfs in a three man midfield? that means you either do not have a Cmf or an Amf which does not make sense. if after watching the match three times you still did not notice that Onazi takes up the dmfs position when the ball is in our side of the pitch then you need to watch it again the fourth time. please football isn't fifa where Messi can run from defence to attack and score,

So we gats men here that play FIFA?. Lol. I haven't touched konami or PES in ages, cos in North America, FIFA is the dominating game. I miss my PES days. Lol

TheSuperNerd:
Looollll.... this one made me laugh oooo.....
cheesy

So you play EA's Fifa, Konami's PES and First Touch's Dream League eh? cheesy

Lots of formations don't come with DMFs but you and I know that in some of these formations, DMFs are present but not by the name "DMF" but "CMs/CMFs"

Example in the 4-3-1-2 formation... the "3" there represents three CMs .... but normally a coach in reality will put a ball playing DMF as one of those three and he will play centrally in front of the defence.

Other formations without the actual DM tag is the 4-3-3, 3-4-3, 4-4-2 flat (4-4-2 diamond always has the DM tag), 5-3-2 and so on... but in such formations... one of the CMs must act the role of DM too... wink

Look at the 4-3-3.... Check out Barca's 4-3-3... check out Madrid's 4-3-3, that third midfield player playing centrally and closer to the defence is actually a DM... more like a ball-playing DM but on paper and in games he is labelled as a CM.

So I hope this helps shaa.... I no be coach ooo... loooollll
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 4:50pm On Jun 20, 2017
Everyone's bashing Onazi saying he did not do his primary ho1b as the DMF., that he was running around. Well I saw two DMs on the pitch against SA Ndidi and Onazi. Except u are Rohr or own Rohr's hear no one should say Onazi was the DM cos no one can claim to know that. I can also claim that Ndidi played rubbish cos he was the DM, but I already see people typing to refute such claims that he was not. Well, i stand by my fact that Onazi was not the DM. A team can play without a DM. If you feel that's a lie, why does EA sports have fifa formations without DMs? We too de claim coach for this forum just to drive home a point. A coach can change a formation and nobody knows what Rohr must have told the MFs during the game. So we should cut onazi some slack. I was one of the people really upset with him after the game in the heat of my emotions. However, having watched the game 3ce, I'd have loved to have 3 Onazi's in MF on the day. He was by far the best in terms of presence, passing, mobility. Ndidi was happy passing to the opponents or not even anticipating passes. Let's just at least be humble to call a spade a spade. I'm not saying Onazi is better than Ndidi, but when it involves that SA game Onazi was miles better than Ndidi

In all honesty, I'd not advise Nigeria to attack CMR in any of the legs. We are ahead on points so ot boils down to them to attack us. Worse case scenario is we take 2 points. If Algeria does the double over Zambia then they'd be 1 point after us. If Zambia does d double then they'd be one behind is as well. So we should be smart about these CMR games.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 2:27am On Jun 19, 2017
I read it and afraid catch me... Well when can Naija have a MF like Vidal? He was in defence, on the wings, in attack. That guy was everywhere. I see Naija winning thw away game more than the home game. If CMR sits back in Abj it'll be hard for us to break them, we don't have the technicality and the swiftness in passing to that. Our passes are to lethargic to open any defense up.

Has it ever occur3d to anyone that Onazi could be a great LB/RB. Apart from the "wayo" PK they awarded against him in 2013 ANC, Onazi excelled greatly in the RB position against Zambia. Alaba was converted from MF to one of the best FBs. There are many more players like this. I say this cos I think Onazi could excel very well in thr problematic LB position. He has the energy to pace up and down all game, he tackles very firmly, we can manage his passings if he's in the opponents box.
Also, we seem to underrate Ideye a lot in Naija. Ideye is one attacker that makes a nonsense attack lime look like they have swag due to his link up play. Although, he misses a lot but his movement is a source of concern to most opposing defences. He worked perfectly with Emenike, Iheanacho and to some extent with Musa. One of my regrets watching SE is that I never got to see Ideye and Martins play together. To me these are the best linkup attackers that Naija have had in recent times.
With that being said, my ideal teamexcluding injuries would be:

Ikeme; Shehu RB, Balogun & Troost CBs, Onazi LB; Mikel and Ndidi MFs; Etebo LM/LW, Moses LM/LW; Iheanacho SS, Ideye FW
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dedebanky85: 1:25pm On Jun 15, 2017
The old center forward is very needed. Last I heard they are still active in club football. I bet when a new player comes up next year, you'd clamor for Iheanacho to retire as you'd classify him as "the old center forward". Only in Nigeria you see this kinda quick discard of players

TheGoodJoe:

Come on Collin. The old Center forward. Really? We have seen teams do well without the old center forward style of play and maybe you are yet to notice that playing an old center forward requires a team reducing building from the back and relying on long balls.

That is defending deep and lounging the ball to a huge man to hold and distribute it.

This is more of a call in change of style and the question is that, are you sure the Ideye and Ighalo can offer more than we have at our disposal?

If that is the case, bring them to camp, screen and drill. If they come up tops, they have my nod but if they do not beat Osimhen in camp, it is a disservice to ourselves dropping a promising youngster with huge talent and better quality for old legs.

The press have destroyed a lot of progress in Nigerian football with their rigorous calls for old legs and shortsightedness. Rohr has moved the team forward in a short time. Give the man time to work before tearing down his structure.

England's Young Lions can handle the Golden Generation tag - Abraham

England Under-21 striker Tammy Abraham insists the Young Lions can handle being called the next Golden Generation.
The 19-year-old is confident Aidy Boothroyd's youngsters are ready to take the spotlight following the Under-20s' World Cup triumph on Sunday.
Paul Simpson's side were crowned world champions after a 1-0 win over Venezuela, with the Under-21s now aiming to echo their success at Euro 2017 in Poland.
The previous group named the Golden Generation included David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney but never got past the quarterfinal stage of a major tournament.
Chelsea forward Abraham is preparing for Friday's tournament opener against holders Sweden in Kielce and believes the new crop can cope if they are given the same nickname.
He said: "We definitely can handle that tag. We have guys who are talented, can work hard and have everything. It's just about blending in and becoming one, not just thinking about yourself.
"They did the country so proud and we would love to follow in their footsteps by winning the Euros. Obviously being the Under-21s we want to show we are the next up and coming players for the England squad, so there is a bit of pressure.
"But then we have some amazing lads, so we think we can go far as well. We can't have them bragging they won and we didn't!''
Abraham, who has been linked with a loan move to Newcastle or Brighton, was eligible for Simpson's Under-20s squad but was selected by Boothroyd for Euro 2017 after scoring 26 goals on loan at Bristol City last season.
He could have been a world champion but is determined to focus on succeeding in Poland with the Under-21s.
Abraham, who will wait until after the tournament to decide his future, said: "Yes it's bittersweet, it's true. It's a great achievement. I'm sure they're proud of themselves.
"The whole country is proud of them. They deserved to win it. But obviously I'm here to win the Euros and we've got a lot of good players, so we're in with a chance.
"A lot of the boys watched the whole game at St George's Park after training. I'm proud to have helped them get to the tournament, of course, but obviously I'm so proud to be here as well.
"Hopefully what I've done all season is paying off and we can win the tournament. The boys are buzzing.
"It's massively inspiring. We're going into a massive tournament now with the Under-21s and it would be nice to end it on a blast. The boys are confident.
"We've had a great season. We just want to top off with a win. Some of the lads have played in the Premier League, in top teams, we have an amazing team. Hopefully we can show that. We're all excited and we just have to prove it.''

.........................
Tammy Abraham is already talking about being part of the golden generation of England players. Seriously, the way people talk up the prospects of some of these players dumping European countries for Nigeria perplexes me.

Is it that we haven't learnt from previous experiences that Nigeria will never be considered if such player is in the ascendancy with top career prospects.

Let's continue making derogatory comments about our home grown players and league while talking up the chances of Nigerians abroad to make babies who will represent us. Let's continue deluding ourselves.

If Tammy dumps England for Nigeria, I will quit my job and become a Thai monk for a year.

If I am an opposing coach and I see Iheanacho as the point man for Nigeria and Iwobi on the wings, I won't even pay much attention cos I know they'd be lost from the game. But what do i know. Iheanacho is the next best thing in the world since after d discovery of IT

EEGA:
Super Eagles lack quality upfront - South Africa coach, Baxter mocks Nigerian players
dailypost.ng Jun 11, 2017 9:03 PM
Stuart Baxter, coach of the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, has mocked Nigerian Super Eagles after their 2-0 loss in Uyo on Saturday in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Englishman said that much as the Super Eagles controlled the match, especially in the early stages, the team lacked the required quality upfront.

Speaking to South African media on Sunday, Baxter noted that with good cutting edge in front of goal, the score line would not have been bad for the Super Eagles.

“We are still relishing that result and it is good that we win. I am so happy because I just joined the team back and it is good we start well for the AFCON qualifiers.

“I will still say kudos to the Nigerians because they stretched us and made some dangerous movements. But if I may sound very respectful and modest, their attack was not the very best they could have presented.

“They were without quality frontline, otherwise, they could have scored in the early exchanges but like I said earlier, it is good that my players responded very well in the match,” he said.

Nigeria is currently third in the qualifying group behind leaders, Libya, and South Africa and will play Seychelles, who lost 1-5 to Libya in their next encounter.

Which Tammy Anraham is in the bag? Cos thw only one I know of that was on loan at bristol from chelsea is in the English under21 camp training with them for the Euros. So you can appreciate his talent but don't mix fantasy with reality. That guy's not in any Nigerian bag and would not.

forgiveness:
Tammy Abraham is already in the bag. grin

What you are saying about Ajagun is the same you said about Solanke few days ago but you are chopping ya vomit. grin

No worries. You will soon see Ajagun. grin

Announcement! Announcement!! Announcement!!! Ghana is back, Ghana is back. Egypt fear please. The only true coach that makes Ghana play expressively is back - Kwesi Appiah. The current 5 0 scoreline is not the deal, it's how they are playing. Kwado Asamoah is not even playing sef. They were too conservative under Grant. If only Ghana can respect him just as they respected Grant, they would achieve a lot.
Siasia is as good as Kwesi Appiah, but he's only hired when there's a problem. Sia1 has never started any campaign from starry to finish at senior level. I believe he can get us to play like Ghana does under Appiah. Rohr is not bad but i believe Sia1 sets up his team to play better football.

Now that the game is gone and Rohr has not invited players for the next game, this would be my desired line up based on the players that are ELIGIBLE to represent us. Enough of this stupid fantasy football of "ifs". So I can never draw a lineup with a Solanke, Tammy Abraham, Tonorarigha and Co. They are currently playing for other nations.
4-3-3 formation:
Ikeme;
Aina (his change process is already in motion), Balogun, Troost, Amuzie.
Ndidi (DM), Azuibike Okechukwu (box2box), Mikel (AM).
Moses (LW), Imoh/Aluko (RW), Ideye.

Imoh is a hustler and a dream choice for a RB or LB cos he tracks back a lot. He knows how to beat his man and crosses with his brains as hr had the ability to perform cut backs, pinpoint crosses and shoot. Aluko is more diverse as he can score from his position and does same as Ezekiel except in defense. Tough call.
Ideye may not score but he'd helo people like Mikel, Moses get the goals. Amuzie is my choice LB, he's the most modern LB we have. Crosses very well, shoots, dribbles very well. Hedbe helped out in defense with Moses playing along with him.

This is just my 2 cents. Enough of names playing football. SA didn't have names but almost could have given our worshispped NAMES almost 5 0 yesterday.

Dude you saw all these in 5 mins shocked? Fear God abeg grin.
Are you seeing how Ghanian attackers are playing currently, that's what/how Nigerians want their attackera playing. Oshimehen didn't do much apart from one general hustle down the wings that any human being can do. Even Ndidi hustled down d wings like that yesterday, why are u not praising him for that. This is the hyping I see people complain about. I bet if you are watching this Ghanian game you'd write a novel for all of the Ghanian attackers. They are doing basic things that footballers ought to do.

TheGoodJoe:

I will take this if it came from another person but you, Im Im, I can smell bias.

Are we talking of the same Osimhen that showed strength, speed and purposefulness? Did you notice him on the flank where he went with his body against a South African and won the ball? If there was anything he showed, he is physically ready for the Super Eagles.

Braw people don't contribute based on a players ability but rather based on the clubs they play for or would I say sit on the bench for. We got it wrong. I put my list out prior to the game. I never anticipated Awaziem in the defence. He didn't play badly but he didn't rwact smartly to a non existence DM i front of him. Ekong tried his best. He was a DF and a DM in this game. We don't need to sugar coat it, some still judge sone players based on U17 perofrmance. Mikel did not get his experience playingwith Taiwo and Obasi at the same tine without no guidance. He got the d experience overtime playing with some stalwarts andsubsequently got the experience

Icon4s:
Wonderful contribution especially the sentimental aspect. So very shocking.

Rohr should explain to Nigerians why he picked Awaziem ahead of Omeruo in a game like this.
That first goal was the turning point in the game.

How can a CB jump to head without knowing the position of the player he was supposed to mark.
Rantie anticipated Awaziem may miss which he did. And someone here is shouting all night that 'the ball was close to Akpeyi so he should save it'.

But he's been declining wver since. I doubt Iwobi has had more than an average game since after d Zambia game. Boy is playing nonsense imho. I would not even think of starting him against CMR

TheGoodJoe:
Go back and watch Iwobi's debut where he came in against Egypt. Watch his brilliant through passes that created multiple scoring chances.

The problem was midfield balance. When we get it right, the team will perform. Just a little tweaking. No hype, these guys are good.
