You are getting it wrong. The long tenure of any military government in power only means that, the people, who had no say when the military take over was executed, are fearful of the unconstitutional martial rule under which they now exist.

That means they are being forcefully ruled by the order of guns which condone no opposition.

We all know military use martial law, but I am telling you if democracy is sweet, the people will be out there fighting for it to be reestablished, even military junta will back down when millions or 80% of the population is against it.

My point is, make democracy about the people and not a few enrichening themselves...make the people feel dividends of democracy, through welfare packages, good economic policies that ensures food is cheap, affordable housing, availability of water, security...it's not enough to say we have democracy, democracy without benefits for the people is useless...am not an advocate of military, am only saying we should do democracy right in Africa. This democracy where a few politicians put the nation in their pockets have no benefit for the people. Life is about interest and benefits.

I think you are from southeast or north...we in South South and south west, share a progressive ideology and nature, we reason like civilised men in south south and southwest, that is why we attract investors and visitors.
