ma frnd it depends on ur ppa.. some people ppa is a skul and its their right to go on vacation with there various skuls or u expect them to do gate keeper for d skul while everyone is on break, its notin new dah corpers also go on long vacation break.. some people r serving in hospitals and they even work night shift so it depends.. i believe urz is a private firm sooo.. i've called my c.l.o and he confirmed we've already done clearance with our documentation. they will send us a msg for feb clearance.. its not a general tin, everyone should find out their position from there LGI

My friend registed first day and was given her fourth choice. This thing is random abeg. People will pass fake info.

Fourth choice was Calabar. I'm really hoping for Lagos though .
I think calabar is a good state . I've heard several good reviews about it. They treat their corpers right, cost and standard of living is okay and its an interesting place.
I'm crossing my fingers sha and you're right, you may not necessarily be posted to any of the states you selected. This was even posted on their website.

What are the other states you picked?
There are a lot of rumours about the state selction process by NYSC.
A very close friend chose Osun as her last state and was sent there. Another did not pick the state she is serving in, they ended up sending her there.
I hear NYSC will release call up letters on the 21st Nove. I hope it is 14th instead.
I chose Calabar as third choice, I don't know what the state is like. I hope I don't fall in the third state. It is too far but I guess a review of the state will help me feel better or even worse.

I will advise you reach out to the right authorities. Get NYSC number and call them.

The thing is full of northern States.
My friend that registered before me still saw ondo and OSUN and she picked Ondo by the time it was my turn, only OSUN was left.

Kwara, Kaduna, abuja, kebbi all gone.

I was left with ebonyi, abia, katsina, borno, Adamawa, jos, Benue, sokoto, niger and those "end of Nigeria" states

Wait! Are all the South-South states exhausted....

Finally registered today after all the helter - skelter

The only sw state left - OSUN
Only 2 SE states left - Abia and Ebonyi
All others were northern States. I eventually picked

OSUN
ADAMAWA
PLATEAU
ABIA.

It is not true. If you like have above First class. My friend is teaching in a Primary school with a first class result, so I don't know where you got your information from.

I have heard good things about Kwara. And you were smart with Enugu.
Enugu was given to me on the same option as Lagos, and stupidly I went for Lagos. Now, I am hearing that the competition is mad for Lagos.
People pay big money to be posted there, where will I get that kind of money to give an official because I want to serve in Lag? Me, I just leave my faith to God.

My choice wasn't really based on any criteria or logic. Actually I really wanted lag but considering d fact dat m based dere was making me feel less advantaged of bin given lag so dat was y I decided to go for Ogun atleast is kinda close too. Den Enugu, Uhmmm dat was bcus av neva bin dere nd I kno it more like,one of d biggest states in d eastern part wen it comes to economic activities same with kano too,so I wouldn't mind exploiting any of the 2 states. Kwara is my least preferred choice sha,I just av dis mixed feeling abt d state.

Look, my friend got sent to a state she did not select. Not assumptions. She is a Batch A 2016 member, same story she has withmany of them sent to Benue. Only few of those sent to Benue selected the state. The other half a re product of forced posting.
This was also confirmed by an official, it is no assumptions.

Abuja, Kaduna, Akwa Ibom and Lagos in that order.
Even though I feel like I should have chosen Enugu and Oyo OR kwara, instead of hotspots such as Abj and Lag.
What I am hearing from an official is that if these states are filled and our names fall under them they will send us to a near by state even if we did not choose it. The worse part is that they don't give states based on first come, first take.
For example if I fall in ABJ but the spots are filled, they will push me to a different Northern State, even if It was not part of my choice.
That is why I think your States are really great, you chose States that people were not rushing to, so you know where you might go.

You all are just funny. Be rest assured if you are from the East or West and you schooled there and chose Kaduna, that is where you will go.
Stop scaring yourselves. I am in Kaduna. It is not bad at all. If your PPA is one of the buoyant refinery, you have hammered.
Kaduna is made up of solo rich people minding their business. Things are cheap. The only thing tou should pray for is if your name ends up Kaduna, you should be sent to Southern Kaduna, where Christains are, nothing bad is happening there.

There is something so unusually great about your choice of states. It is probably the best combination I've seen here. Where do you want to go? I am guessing Ogun?

You can actually use your ATM to pay. Online banking or not. I used mine yesterday and it was faster than going to the bank to pay. Just make sure you have your phone to access the code they will send.

Your observations are wrong in number 5, mr observer.

Kaduna is as competitive as Lagos and ABJ. The state is bouyant and very few people that have selected it will go there. Corpers enjoy life there and they even work it out to go to Kaduna. Many people from the North want to serve there. Your 70 percent is so wrong. Let us put it at 30 percent. Wait and seeeee......

My little observations

1Your year of graduation is most likely the year your result was approved, don't be too quick to swear an affidavit!

2. Bank payment takes same or lesser time than payment with ATM. Most people don't understand the process and tend to believe otherwise

3.The thumb printing aspect of the registration is the most time consuming, but many others get the entire process done in few minutes.

4. Your details disappear From the senate checking portal the moment you finish the registration process

5. 90% of those who already registered for this process had KADUNA as a major state of choice and 70% will actually serve there.
