Politics / Re: Why Nigeria Will Never Let BIAFRA Go. by Deebwebb: 5:44pm On Jun 14, 2020
Cjrane2:

You are right that Nigeria hopes to fight to keep Biafra.

The good thing is that Biafrans know it and unlike in the past when they stepped into a war unprepared, very meticulous preparation going on how to wage the coming war. The outcome of this war will be totally different as all the factors identified in the 1966 - 1970 civil war are being meticulously addressed. Also, It will not be a war of world powers or unfair arms advantage on one side. You can be sure about that.

When the time comes, even Nigeria will sue for peaceful separation. But, let us just continue with the chest-beating and hoping to use military force as if nothing is happening.
exactly,we will never make the same mistake twice..

You must be living in on planet 'lost'

How do you think Dangote became the richest man in Nigeria? By hardwork alone? No, he became what he is because of the undue advantage his fellow Northerners gave him in the 70's, 80's and much of the 90's when the North held sway under military rule

You are talking about insecurity and politics of hatred? Fulani herdsmen have been killing thousands Nigerians every year in the last couple of years, but a Fulani man is president of Nigeria

Northern elements like Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen and various armed bandits are armed and killing Nigerians daily but a Northerner is in power. And you are talking about politics of hatred from a South East that has no single armed group killing anyone? What can be worst than killing people? You are talking about national politics while the region that has produced boko haram, herdsmen and the most number of armed bandits are the one's who are in charge?

But in your own reasoning, the SE is the problem. How can anyone be this stupid?
that boy must be from the wasteland,no Igbo man can reason like that, even me in delta understands the politics against the igbos

undecided Only a fool will still think Buhari is alive, ask any old man about the kind of man buhari was. a military dictator,a former head of state,do you know how brutal you have to be to become a head of state then..a man who said Aisha belongs in his bedroom..the same aisha is now calling executive orders, the same Aisha fighting the personal assistant from coming into villa which should be buhari's job,and also asking IGP directly to release her aides, the same igp that answer to buhari her husband..most news is now issued by the presidency not the president...a lot of appointments were also canceled immediately abbari kyari died an ordinary chief of staff..while many Nigerians never knew the previous president's chief of staff...

Eeyah, see what frustrations has caused in the life of this boy.

It's obvious you aren't well educated and well brought up.

So anything written on a map denote a Nation?

Biafra was a REGION (Just like saying Middle East or Niger Delta) in the Maps of Portuguese Sailors and Explorers trying to explore the Western Coast of Africa in the 16th century.

The ways you guys scream 'Parasites' is most laughable. Who are you feeding and who is feeding from your table?

Your Region contribute little to the federation account and take much, yet you scream 'Parasites' every now and then.

Even the Ijaws, Ibibios and Ogonis never scream 'Parasites' like this!

I support the disintegration of Nigeria 100% .

Better start improving yourself and be useful to your generation instead of waiting for an elusive Utopian country where all evils will cease to exist.

you support disintegration grin audio support....I have never seen a region that dread staying alone like the Yorubas, with the so called development and Lagos you clowns have, you all should want disintegration, but reverse is the case...or are you guys really parasite that need us as host to survive..even some northerners want disintegration, but you clowns still believe in Nigeria, when even the blind knows Nigeria will never work out angry believe one thing niger area you ewedus call Nigeria will crumble before your very eyes...

The problem with guys like you is that you don't read wide.

1) Eritrea was an existing 'country' before being formally annexed by Ethiopia in 1962 leading to a 30 year civil war with Ethiopia. The referendum was a Politically agreed solution following series of negotions to end the armed insurection.

2) There was no Kingdom/Empire or Country known as Biafra before 1914.

If you believe the IPOB naked lie that Biafra had existed before Nigeria, then State the Capital and past Presidents/Kings or Emperors of Biafra, their currency, boundaries and treaties signed with British, Franch or German Colonial agents or other Nations.

3) Nobody failed you or your generation. You only have yourselves to blame for your shortcomings and inadequacies.

4) The questions are part of the reality check to wake you up from your utopian dreams.

5) There's nothing sacrosanct about Nigerian unity.
Unity just like love can NOT be enforced. If the people of Nigeria don't want to leave together, their LEADERS will come together to separate the country.

6) The agitations of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB is based on preaching hatred for other Nigerians especially the Yorubas and Fulanis and it can not achieve any results.

oboy you are wasting your time,I can see you are one of the parasites that dread staying alone..imagine saying Biafra never existed, something on many maps even before Nigeria..you are obviously an illiterate who don't read but rather talk like you know anything but you don't,anyway keep daydreaming Biafra will come and they you can go and die...boasting with a failed country like Nigeria..

You are mostly one of these Indomie generation kids on Nairaland, usually surplus on emotion but deficit in logic.

All these your 'parasites' stuff is stale and doesn't reflect deep understanding of how Nations work.

ALL parts of Nigeria are blessed and have existed before Nigeria and we continue to exist after Nigeria if this country disintegrate.

REALITY CHECK;

1) Who exactly will order the conduct of the referendum?

(a) President
(b) National Assembly
(c) IPOB
(d) United Nations
(e) Donald Trump + Jews

2) Who are eligible to vote in the referendum?

(a) Any adult living in the S/East
(b) Only members of defined tribes- who is an Igbo man? Who is not an Igboman?
(c) All Peoples from willing States whereever they may be in Nigeria whether Zamfara, Lagos or Abuja.

3) On which UNAMBIGUOUS Geographic territories will the referendum be conducted?

(a) Old Eastern Region
(b) Any territory demanded by Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB
(c) Igboland
(d) The present five States in the S/East

4) What will be the options on the referendum ballots?

(a) One Nigieria

(b) Biafran

(c) A totally different Independent country

what type of nonsense question are these angry go and ask Ethiopia that gave Eritrea referendum how they did it undecided.we had Biafra before the British came. all igboid will join plus any ally that wants in and existed inside old Biafra..but i prefer pure igboid biafra, but with the number of non-Igbo's calling mazi KANU and ekpa Simeon in Facebook during live show i will reserve my thought.. Nigeria will never work out..the fulanis own nigeria and will never restructure it, they rather die than restructure, not even a south president can do it.. I think we should blame you failures since you are one of the old people that failed the new generation..anybody against Biafra is a parasite that can't stay without others...all the men that made Nigeria history were all young guys.so step aside old man and watch us write our own history too...

Why are you crying?

Yorubas are too much far ahead of the Igbos, sir.

Look at these timelines and be guided and humble.
YORUBA TIMELINE:

Yorubas had Empire around 1300.

Yorubas were collecting tributaries from their vassal nations which extended from Dahomey to Ewe in Ghana.

Yorubas fought war home and abroad for 100 years.

Yorubas won the civil war for Nigeria by defeating battalions of biafrans with only less than 200 soldiers.

During regionalism,Yorubas lent money to Nigeria and the Igbos twice so that they can survive from their laziness.

Yorubas were the first to build a skyscraper in the entire sub Saharan Africa.

Yorubas were the first to have a television in Africa even before some European countries.

Yorubas played opposition in politics until 2015 but still became the richest and most developed region in Nigeria.

Yorubas remain the most educated by producing 8 Youngest phd holders in the world.7 geniuses with perfect scores of 5.0 cgp, highest number of documented young scientists, highest number of higher institutions, best public and private universities, highest number of professors, the best doctors, best lawyers etc.

Yorubas are the largest and best real business Nigerians at home and abroad.

Yorubas are the richest in Nigeria according to World bank,UNDP and NBS

IGBO TIMELINE:

Igbos were practising can.....lism.

Igbos were learning how to wear clothes in 1921.

Igbos were colonised by Igala,a very small tribe and Igbos were brainwashed by Igalas to believe that NRI is their root. They still do till this day. grin

Igbos were taken as slaves by Ijaws, another very small ethnic group.

During Regionalisn,Igbos were running in droves to Ibadan in Yorubaland for greener pastures.

Igbos joyfully received the money Yorubas lent them so they can survive during regionalism.

Igbos killed Yoruba,Hausa and Midwest leaders and left their own leaders untouched.

Igbos are running in droves to Lagos in Yorubaland for greener pastures.

Igbos are the largest and best petty traders in Nigeria.

Igbos are the poorest people in the South of Nigeria according to World bank, UNDP and NBS.

How does referendum comes into this?

Bros ,if you are one of the people that still truly believe that any Biafran referendum will hold, it's better you know the truth;

Nobody is conducting any referendum!

Neither the president, the National Assembly or the Judiciary has the power to conduct any referendum.
The Nigerian people have to sit down and insert a seccession clause by a way of referendum in the Constitution as suggested by Awolowo in the constitutional conferences in the 1950s.

. . . and the UN don't creat any Country.
