Dear ADE, We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected by the World Bank to receive the 2017 Pan African Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship was established to recognise registered full‐time students enrolled in Nigeria institutions and was made possible by the World Bank. We are sure that this scholarship will support you in the completion of your educational goals. NYSC / Re: This Is What Really Happened To The Corper Who Died In Zamfara State by deedrizzie: 9:04am On Dec 15, 2016 |
butanep: Now sir, i agree with you completely... and you could hit the nail on the head more... i opine that each camp should have a consultant GP (general practitioner) on ground... assisted by the many corper doctors present. However, i still feel qualification and what is what is secondary, FACILITIES need to be improved... i mean, bro... see those toilets! I've since lost count of the various bacteria that can give rise to countless pathological conditions from looking at those photos. God Bless Nigeria! |

butanep: Now... "experience" is not a word I'd use lightly in medicine... but baba, really.. do u have an idea how hard it is to graduate from Medical school??...mediocrity can't survive.... I'm not saying mistakes can't be made oo... but imagine, you go to school... longer than the average person, and someone comes to tell u that u know nothing about yr job?... Haba! |
NYSC / Re: This Is What Really Happened To The Corper Who Died In Zamfara State by deedrizzie: 1:47pm On Dec 14, 2016 |
@OP....i sense the passion, and i share it too. However, I'd like to correct the statement that corper doctors are "FRESH GRADUATES"... THIS IS 100% WRONG. As they have already gone through the compulsory 1 YR HOUSEMANSHIP/INTERNSHIP TRAINING at a TEACHING HOSPITAL, after induction. So that's 7yrs of medical training BEFORE NYSC, so please, we may blame the system and facilities...but definitely not we doctors. Thank You 1 Like |

Health / Man Sues Hospital $5m For Turning His Son Gay by deedrizzie: 10:33am On Oct 08, 2016 |
This story seems iffy but interesting, lol. A 42-year-old Army Vet Curtis McPullout said he would rather have his 3 year old son have the flu than be twerking in the mirror. McPullout made this statement after taking his 3-year-old son to an East Atlanta Medical unit. He said his son was a regular child before he got the shot.He said:'You could find him laughing, playing outside and beatingoff to The Jet Beauty Of The Week. Then the boy gets the shot becomes a cowboys fan and starts taking duck lip selfies'.The McPullout’s sued the hospital for $5m and surprisingly, he won.He said they were happy with the decision the courts made and that he will be taking his son to Brazil for a three-month rehabilitation program geared to bring boys back to the other side, which seems to be working out well.
