LofP:
The op has taken a one-sided narrative that is not current.

As at the time you posted this long epistle, the representative of the family has asked that he be brought back to the village to be buried beside his mother.

They have also laid curses on any of their family members who intends to drag property with their son's widow.

Also they made it clear that he must NOT be buried in a public mortuary. This is the wish.
Mortuary or Cemetery lol

What is the difference between a 3/4 HP and that of 1.5 HP?

1.What does it mean by dpc casting? There is nothing like that.
2. 250k for lintel and pillar is reasonable but you can negotiate it down to 200.
3. Employ decking caster for decking and not bricklayer.
4. Block setting for ground floor should be max 500k while upper floor you can still agree 500k with him.
DPC casting means casting the beam round the foundation before the German due to the soil type in that area.

Is the price for the decking okay at 470k?

He knows and that’s why he’s seeking for help here. This is not the time to start making people feel bad the more. We all know what it means to get an ITA this days
I think/feel he has even being banned because he never came here to announce the outcome. If it resulted in PPR, he would have been happy to announce it on NL. Lot of PR applicants have being getting banned due to NOC Mismatch or false work experience. I learnt there is now an automatic rejection for those claiming cash salary payments from their employers.

Hi guys, thanks for all you do here. I've been a long time follower of this thread.

I just received a message from IRCC questioning two major things on my family application..
First: asked to address my wife(primary applicant) to clarify the profession on our marriage certificate, the profession doesn't correlate with her NOC, and it didn't cross our eyes since we had been married for a while now.

Secondly: we were asked to clarify the NOC of our previous profile. We'd opened a profile for trade briefly last year and deleted then re-entered for healthcare this year. The VO asked why we never mention this new foreign experience in the previous interest

Please, how can we carefully address these concerns
This NOC issue can lead to a 5 year ban if not addressed properly!!

Mario Jardel was a lethal scorer. Even with lower goals coefficient, was European Top Scorer twice or so.

Unfortunately for him, Brazil had too many potent No 9s when he reigned.

He and Giovane Elber, Edmundo and Nicolas Amoruso just rotted on National Team bench.

Kampack:
Exactly! I was completely ignorant of the process. On the other hand, I kept hoping things would get better soon. Sadly, as the years progressed, things only got worse! Age was also another factor (40+) and not having a sibling in Canada meant I was disadvantaged in aggregate scores required for the cut off (ITA) - I had wasted too much time on the wrong track! Nevertheless I relentlessly kept seeking for a way out. Thankfully with my PhD + good IELTS score, I explored the PNP pathway - the saving grace! Friends I helped with their dissertation, home and away, during their postgraduate and even some I served with, during NYSC, and kept in touch with, were more than happy to help with the required funds! It's ALWAYS good to be nice to people, and to endeavor to periodically keep in touch with goods friends once in a while - you never know when you'll need them or vice versa! Be willing to assist if their request is within your capacity or at least offer some advice if it's out of your powers. It might just be your turn someday! Many of those who came through (especially the ones in diaspora) told me not to pay back the funds - it was a gift! I was shocked beyond words, even till date! I moved with family and it's been my best decision. Canada is welcoming to families with PR! I deeply regret the wasted years but I thank God !
Glad you were able to pull through! Congratulations

Kampack:
You're not alone bro!
Yeah! I traveled to study. MSc & PhD. My PhD Supervisor and friends begged me to stay back. A friend from India (my MSc classmate in UK) particularly encouraged me to move to Canada as he was equally planning to move to Canada at the time. He successfully relocated to Canada afterwards and kept in touch with me via Facebook calls and occasional phone calls - encouraging me to do Express entry. I didn't understand the process at that time (2017), and even if I did, affording the cost of IELTS (50k) was a herculean task, as my take home pay was nothing to write home about. I had less than 40k left to saddle all home front expenditure after deducting my car loan then. Things were HARD! I bitterly regretted the move! I couldn't run anywhere for help. I couldn't even extend any money to my poor parents every month. Bills accumulated and debts soon spiralled almost out of control. Inflation didn't help matters! I suffer no be small!
You would have gotten the PR easily with your PhD back then in 2017 because the cut off scores were damn low.
Career › Re: What's Your Greatest Mistake In Life? Share Your Experience by Deeegbee: 5:21am On May 11, 2025
Kampack:
No! I went for PR. The process isn't as difficult as I thought it were. With some concerned friends who saw my sufferings and knew I've done myself a disservice by turning back after my PhD, and was also aware of the unending imbroglio between ASUU and FG, I was able to pull through. A few friends raised funds for me. I'll encourage you to move out as quickly as you can. It's not rossy abroad, but not as bad as it is in 9ja! Experiences differ though, but from my experience on both sides, I can tell you confidently that the odds are stashed more against you in 9ja - especially if you are a low income earner - in such an unproductive and unfavorable economy!
I read your story and laughed. I’m not trying to mock you pls. A lot of ppl made the same mistake and they have been unable to correct it. I’m glad you understand you made the wrong choice of going back home after your studies and now you have gotten another golden opportunity to leave. Luckily, you got PR at a period when it is very competitive.

Wow your wife is a Nurse, you are as good as been in Canada already. Tell her to evaluate her credentials with WES and she should go write the IELTS exam asap and join the pool. So many provinces are sending nominations to Nurses because it’s a high demand profession here. I hope you also know this journey is capital intensive compared to the pre-COVID era? Hit me up if you need more information or better go through page 1, all information you need is there.

You can withdraw your PR application and apply again when you can only use experience outside the one you didn't mention initially. You need to stay consistent. I think you will be fine as long as they haven't acted on your current application and flag it. But if they flag it before your withdrawal then it could be a big problem so I think
Please, the OP can take this advice. Better be save than a 5 year ban!!

Guys im in a serious pickle and scared at the moment.

So when i was 20 i applied for study permit. At the time i was doing nysc and working in tech (entry level) but in my SOP. I inly said that i was doing NYSC. I didnt mention that i worked as i didnt want them to know i was doing nysc and working because i was supposed to be working in my PPA but was running it as i needed tech experience.

In my work permit i also didnt declare this work experience as i had work lined up in canada so i just used that and didnt bother using anything else as i thought it didnt matter.

Now in my pr application i declared the experience i did in nigeria. I added reference letter, offer letter and a picture of me and my colleagues at work. Im now seeing that people are getting misrepresentation ban for what i did and i dont know what to do.

Im in canada and all my experience shows progress and i have the documents for them. I make a good living here now and have a son on the way. How could i make such a silly mistake that can ruin my life. Has anyone else gone through this successfully? Should I submit an LOE or just wait from word from IRCC?

Funny thing is I received my study permit at the work place. I have proof from VFS canada that my passport was sent to the work address im claiming for work experience. this all is just making me super paranoid.
Lot of PR applicants have caught for Job / NOC misrepresentation especially when they have previously applied to IRCC before their PR applications, just pray your own case turns out good. Better still, you can hire an immigration lawyer and just for you to know their service doesn’t come cheap!
