I was excited of course as I was enjoying it's sweet camera and installed all d installables. I snapped as many pax as possible and it was so sweet. But than, the unthinkable happened. As I was replying a whatsapp message that same night, na so d thing hang o. After hanging for about 5mins, I forced it off. It was taking too long to shut down, so I forced it off further again. No so the phone no on again o. U can imagine how I was feeling after spending #49900 on this Gold coloured device. I couldn't share with family or friends that the phone I spent approximately 50k on could not power on after about 11hrs of purchase. But then, thank God say I go school o. I remember reading the d warranty booklet which states that if the phone should develop any technical issues within 15 days, it will be replaced with another new device. Monday morning, I visited d carlcare centre at Ikeja. The babe attending to me told me to come back for my device in about a week after repair. I told her about d warranty issue, she asked where heard about that and I gave her d small white booklets. She took the phone and warranty booklet to her bosses and returned to register my device. After Waiting for about an hour more, I was given a brand new Techno C9 device which is what am using to post on nairaland for the first time in over six years. Now, u can choose to c this post in a negative light, but I am very grateful to the Tecno team for this awesome device and keeping their word. This device in my opinion (of which I am entitled to) is a great device considering the low budget in comparison with other high end device.

For me,the fone is cool. The fact that I could move my pics and video right from my gallery into anoda folder without goin thru my file manager trips me a lot,lol! Its light and also d screen size is ok tho I've nevver been a fan of fone that u can't hold in ur hands well. Battery also last maybe bcoos I dnt game like someone complained here. Dsnt hang and all. Camera quality is cool too. Only tin I dnt like is d ear piece,nnever been a fan of such an ear piece. Dsnt fit into my ear and sometimes painful sef wen adjusting lol!
Will explre more features but for now I'm glad I got the fone,amount was worth it tho left a small hole in my pocket,lol

I'm using Gionee M5 and I can boldly tell you dat you shouldn't go for Gionee M5 if you are a gammer, M5 lagging a bit while playing some high end games, not too lag though, but lagging is lagging,
Its very smooth in operating and battery backup is incomparable to any other devices,
So if you aren't a gammer and you are a fan of stronger battery, Gionee M5 is ur phone, but if u are a gammer and light weight phone fan, Gionee S plus is ur phone
Note dat S plus also has good battery backup despite d fact of 3150mah, but u can't compare it to M5 of 6020mah

if u AR an oridinary internet user that jst lov to stay online den d visa is OK but if u ar a heavy downloader,dis is nt 4 u though d data cap is like an unlimited plan but d downloading speed is realy to slow....bu some say their internet speed depends on ur area if visa network is gud in ur area,u will enjoy it bu 4me ,it is just OK 4my day to day runnings.............

That is a biggest lie, I bought my Gionee M2 on August 2014 and we are now in July 2016, so my phone is nearly 2 years, and I'm still using it till today, as a matter of fact, my M2 is neat so if I tell you I bought it in a month to dis time, you won't be ague,
Gionee phones are durable, has good battery backup even if it is 1500mah, you'll enjoying it.

D phone is generally okay.
Battery is it's main issue(though that might be because i was using gionee m3 b4 this phone).
Aside that, i think all is well with d phone.
No lagging
No app force closing
Doesn't get very hot while playing games.
And yes, I've played fifa16 on this phone without a single lag. I don't like nova3 so i didn't download it to play. Though I've played mc5 and it's playing very smoothly.

D main diff with this phone n M5 is that M5 has a 6020mah ba3, while this phone comes with just 3150mah ba3.
M5 comes with infra red blaster (for remote control) while this phone doesn't have that.
M5 uses quad(4) cores whole this phone has octa( cores.

Gionee S plus is a great device and Gaming machine, I mean it good for gaming due to its excellent speed, play high end game flowless, no single lagging and heating, octa-core processor really do d great job,
Gionee S plus is d one I wanna buy before, but I don't buy again cuz of the following reason,
1, USB type C problem
2, battery backup, S plus has good battery backup though, but I need more than enough battery backup which I know that M5 can do the work.
Aside above mentioned, Gionee S plus is good buy
But I must tell u the truth, u can never compare S plus battery to M5
