To be honest, i still wonder how they aim to run the Biafra. Majority of Igbo people are into the same business, and have businesses scattered all across the country bar Igbo land. Would the succesful ones abandon their investments(houses, lands) and move back home? Lets assume they do, supply would trump demand and nobody wants that. The ones on nairaland are advanced bots, because the igbo people i see on Lagos and Ibadan streets are not in anyway interested in Biafra. who con need the Biafra? |
How buhari ear no go dey infected. Everybody dey talk hin own.Dem go still turn am to war among themselves. Because their actions are motivated by greed, there will always be issues like this. I expect another group to spring up in the next few days. Negotiation is never going to end militancy in Niger Delta. Some people will always arrange themselves and form a new group. All the monies allocated to them since Yar'adua has not been put to positive use. Their demands are also outrageous. Anyway, we go dey siddon dey look till every household in the Niger Delta is a militant group. |
Haba na. Dont be naive. You cant compare the two. They did not include Omo onile and Akiolu in the budget for Ethiopia's light rail na. That can add quite a lot to the budget. Nigeria is known to use better quality materials for construction. This is evident in our hospitals, schools and world class roads. 27km in Nigeria is quite longer than 34 in Ethiopia. Basis for measurement is different. Chief Amaechi himself will corner some of the money.Na where person dey work, hin dey chop. |
Why lie that you don't lie in the first place? Answer is simple! Question -Do you lie? Answer- Lying is the last resort for me, but I'd lie to avert problems. Even the interviewer lies, saying otherwise loses you the "job" |
Nigerians and comprehension!!! |
I am shocked as to how some people are so in support of evil acts, as long as it affects the buhari government .Anyway, continue, the almighty avengers and the people supporting them. When there is no production at all, all of us will enjoy the outcome. I trust the West, they will place visa ban on Nigerians. |
rokiatu:A good woman won't have another reason to taste another. Would you rather he married someone like you(no offense) who knows the difference between a carrot and a cucumber? |
Lol. Pardon the "lol". Young man, there is nothing really safe and inexpensive that you can do to it. Just accept your fate. Life is not fair. Some people are ugly, some are fine, tall/short, big cohones/ small cohones. It is part of life. Just look for a girl that hasn't tasted another penis and marry her. Plus, learn some other means of satisfaction that don't require penetration. The Lord is your strength |
When i read people supporting these guys and their insane vandalism, i just smile. They are, in the long run, going to pay for it. Just like Asari and Tompolo, these ones are fighting for their pockets as well. Nigerians are sick people generally. I can't stand to imagine someone defending Tinubu, when it is obvious he is a corrupt man. Other people supporting Jonathan and claming that he was not part of the siphoning of public wealth. All this just because we are from the same parts of the country. This explains why nothing was blown up in the Jonathan era. Until something is done about tribalism, Nigeria is going nowhere. |
Hipsofagoddess:Lol. Angry and frustrated thing, take your conditions elsewhere. Sha make sure you google racism and learn. Don't let gossip be the only reason you use the internet. |
Hipsofagoddess:Lol. Racist? Do you even know what racism is? Check a dictionary. I am black and a dark one at that, so i can't be racist towards a fellow black person. It is not because she is dark skinned, it is because she is not pretty enough to win a standard beauty contest. Compare her to Agbani Darego. |
vague:Young man, Genevieve is dark. Niyola is dark Kate Henshaw is dark Ini Edo is dark You get it now? |
Did she contest with herself only? She's pretty alright, but not enough to win a supposed competition of beauty. Humble opinion |
Poor people!!! Some of them are yet to eat o, they are spotting simple mistake up and down. |
I listened to an interview on Splash Fm, Ibadan, and I almost wept. They keep drugs till they expire or are about to, and then start to give them out to the patients who are in need. Some of them divert these drugs to their private clinics, and sell at high prices to the people. It is alarming and heartbreaking how wicked we are in this country. I don't understand how a normal person would be okay to feed on blood money, and be happy. There was a report about how 3.8 million dollars drugs fund vanished and no drug was seen. How low people can go in this country makes me sad. |
Nonsense show. I cringe at the sight of this (wo)man. It is annoying how American media is forcing the nonsense on people.*spits* |
I really don't see sense in most yoruba movies(Nigerian movies to be precise). I watch some of the comic ones and that's it. But we have to be honest with ourselves. Is the yoruba culture that rich, such that every movie released should be made to appraise the culture? There are over 1000 yoruba movies released annually, wouldn't people be bored if they are all about the same thing? Scriptwriters own movies. If i am writing a script about a situation that happened in the university, are we supposed to turn its head, make everybody speak ancient yoruba and dress in ofi, without shoes? Most of these stories are written with modern mindsets. Would Jenifa be making grammatical blunders in Yoruba? Would a story written about a well-educated, modern yoruba family not involve some foreign vibe to it? Things evolve and people adapt. Even Indian movies dont do all that running around and dancing in the middle of the road that often anymore. If they find scriptwriters to write stories about the culture, they will and people will enjoy it. The problem is beyond movies, it is with the people. People are more interested in foreign culture. Most people prefer that their kids speak english first, local language later. They dress them in jeans and foreign gowns. Things have changed and we have to live with it. |
Brother, it is very poor here. In the whole of a week, we had less than 7 hours supply of electricity. My Fridge is more of a Kitchen design, than it is a Fridge. |
Both songs were really big, but African queen takes the hat on this. It was an international hit, took over the whole of Africa. It was big in other parts of the world too. Gongo aso on the other hand was a national hit. Maybe it was big in some countries in Africa. The impact of both songs is evident in the careers of both artistes. |
Dumping Buhari is not hard. To be honest, myself and a lot of people i know, didn't support him in previous elections, prior to the one he won. The corruption under Jonathan was just too hard to deal with for a lot of people. Hence, his removal and the election of Buhari. There is no appealing candidate in the strongest opposition. Is it Sheriff, Fayose, FFK, Jonathan.e.t.c. Until there is a credible candidate, Buhari will remain president till 2023. |
chuckdelis:None of the above. Are you an ipob campaigner? If you are, go and do the same. There will be a public holiday in your honour. I still do not understand all ye "smart" ones defending his action. As it is now, the realisation of biafra seems to whither away by the tick of each second. Why not put the world at the edge of their seats, be a martyr, draw their attention to your cause. Are you too smart to not do what he did, or he his he too dumb to have done what he did? I believe many of you should have followed suit, you defenders of his action. Put your mum, dad, siblings and friends in eternal agony, to prove a point that could be proven in more sensible ways? That's dumb to me and many other sensible people. I don't know about you. |
pchukwudi:Mr Passion... How many of your passions would you die for? Him and Ojukwu obviously had the same passion, why didnt Ojukwu set himself ablaze? Nnamdi Kanu never set himself ablaze. As an Igbo man, would you be as passionate as he was and do like he did? |
SonOfEl:You are an example of the statement you just made. Please, tell me the difference his death made. We all have beliefs, opinions and responsibilities. Would you kill yourself for any of yours? |
SonOfEl:Will you sit down somewhere and look for something better to defend. Killing yourself over something like that is useless. That is suicide, suicide is nonsense. You know how many lives his organs would have saved. If he did that, he would have saved some lives. If you ask me, that humanitarianism!! |
More like Biafran Idiot. Instead of him to donate his organs to save lives, if he wanted to die, he chose to let everything burn. Mumu |
Everybody is envious of successful people, sex regardless. It is just human, and how we can deal with it is different. As for the example you gave, it doesn't seem quite accurate. This is Nigeria, the average man/ woman is frustrated. What you witnessed was a rage induced by extreme frustration, borne by the situation of this country. I believe it would have been worse, if the person driving had been a man. |
Lol. Some people have it worse than naija sha. Good to know. Make them jump-start am. |
Amen to that. To fill up the car tank these days no be moi moi. Even generator sef. |
Not an atheist, but this is not enough proof. Convince an atheist with facts not faith. There is no proof that the bible was written over 2000 years ago, you only believe because of your belief. Even without matchsticks, they made fire, and would have known that it had no shadow at the time. That could have formed as inspiration to whoever was "writing". Plus, i dont think in that Bible verse, they meant fire as light. so, the picture is irrelevant. Humble opinion |
The bus i was in had to turn. I saw a police van speedily heading in the opposite direction, wonder if it was going to the office to get guns. The police in this country are useless. |
it is understandable if you dont mind that she can't cook. What about your kids, your daughters most especially. Who cooks for them? Who teaches them how to cook? |
I am happy being a Nigerian, not proud to be. Yet to find anything to be proud of. I hope that changes soon |
