It is not compulsory to celebrate and if and when you do, the child must be allowed to enjoy his day with his peers. Adults come to eat, gossip and that is it. There is little or nothing they can do to make the day of the celebrant special. The child camnnot understand the purpose of being there. However an adult who is getting married is capable to understand things like that. It is merely another excuse to prove what is not.

I am sure you know that the other kids can't use Harry Potter style broom to get to the party. The parents would drive them there. When you start to have kids, you'll understand. Or would you not attend your friend's( a good friend) child's birthday?

i sure don't know Islam as much as you do. However, I know common sense, and i am liberal enough to apply it wisely. American attacks on the countries you mentioned above, are they political or religious? So, why are muslims from these countries retaliating with religious intentions.

Do you think that if every affected person from that horrendous attack were to retaliate, you'll still be able to praise that guy. It is sad.The first thing i did when i heard the news and that of the woman that was killed, was to curse the people that attacked him. It was a silly thing to do. The problem is just in the North, you don't ever hear things like that come from the south.

The problem is deep in the way they are brought up in those parts, the teachings and what they are exposed to. A lot has to be done to wash Islam off this dirt it has been dug into.

Where i am, christians join muslims to break their fast. In fact, some Christians join in the fasting. Muslims here are not taught the way the ones over there are.
