Yes if Dangote go bribe some other Africa heads of state come sell cement at double the international price dem go b successful.
And also pay 1% effective tax over 10 years.
The monkeys from the north go jump upandan and occupy Biafra too
In other countries they get sense pass our northern monkee wey go vote to pay double price for bag of ordinary cement
einsteine: Yes, in the absence of global competitors, Dangote Cement may dominate certain foreign markets but Nigeria would always be their most profitable market.
If not for government full support this your so called Dangote group it cannot survive this recession.
If not for government to buy at special rates from Dangote, give huge tax breaks for making one ordinary road, no pressure from authorities that your dang group go collapse face first
Oyinbo ppl know dis na that’s y dem no dey smell that stock...
If you no believe me look at Wapco wey make cement better past Dangote ...no government contract nothin for them oo.
All those other Africa countries u dey mention do u tink them be crazy to come buy mumu cement from dang when wapco get cement better past your cement at cheaper price.
We dey inside one chance now
Buy you bag of cement before dem to raise price inside your local government
maishai: ALL Dangote Pan African Operations are still in loss mode.........Their operations seem to me to be like Normal companies that make losses for a while before breaking even and making profits as compared to their Nigerian operations that immediately start making profit on the commissioning of the plant... How long can this go on, It looks to me like they are not making significant sales unlike their Nigerian operations,,,If Dangote can pull it off and start making Good sales in just 2 foreign countries, I believe he can pay a dividend of #40 in 5 years time......... Do you see this likely happening
We go do training for next 4 yrs which will next level of economic disaster....when Naira is hitting 1000 to the dollar u will know d nex level don complete

pluto09: So you are still looking for what to buy when CP has bought all the good stocks at bargain price.
The problem with that diamond is that the price of access might crash at the initial stage of the consolidation. However if you will not be in a hurry to sell you might take a plunge.......
GonFreecss1: When people say Bonanza, that's not a cue for you to sell.
Peter Lynch said it best, "Know what you own, and know why you own it."
That is why you have to always buy stocks below their intrinsic value for a margin of safety. Apparently it seems you bought around the all time high's which is sad. No matter how the stock market is behaving, the only thing you should be looking at is how much a company is worth in liquidation value and not Market value and how much they are making for investors per share, year on year. Then compare that with inflation rates, Treasury bill rates and bond rates to see if the company is keeping up. From here you can have an estimate if it is undervalued or overvalued. This is not a one size fits all, it is just another way of analyzing.
Buying on impulse due to price swings and increase in price is a recipe for disaster. If anyone recommends a stock here, ask them why before you take their advice and buy. For selling that should be up to you when you feel a company is overvalued. Trust me, I am a very patient guy, I do not buy stocks or any other assets during upswings, it has helped me a lot. Wish you all the best though, and better tidings.
It’s better u stay out of it because you b a full time mumu if u go follow use your money to buy shares on advice of criminals on this forum who use 100 monikers to make u buy wetin dey wan sell....

nofundforme: I am out of stock trade for now. I lost a huge amount of money after hearing bonaza gospel. I sold at lost even though I bought very high last yr February. I held all my stocks until I started hearing bonaza. I wanted to play safe and smart, but I missed it. I have learnt my lesson in a hard way. I need to recover before delving into stock trading again. Thanks for your recommendation.
And since I am here I must tell this fool to stop going against the word of god.

I am particular about you because of what you stand for except you are pretending.
Karma, do unto others what you want them to do unto you. If you curse people, people will curse you. If you cheat people, people will cheat you. No matter how many times you wash your hands, it cannot change your finger print.

Mpeace: Zenith good oh. But I don't see any stock paying as much as Diamond bank. N1 per share. If you have 10million and invest same in diamond today, you get close to N5million. Invest same in zenith you get N1,000,000 that's it If also you are in this game for dividends, then you better stare clear of fcmb and fidelity cos na 10 kobo them sabi pay.
yok: NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT/MSCI NIGERIA PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT - AS AT 21 NOVEMBER 2018
MSCI portfolio is on long tern holiday. There has been no movement on the portfolio since 2nd October 2018.
Our main business for today is how to quantify opportunities in the market using best indicators available and keeping it simple as much as possible. I respect Jim Dalton (market profile indicator) so much when he confirmed that the retail investor are the losers in the market and will continue to be losers for the fact that many of them don't have the expertise to make it in the market. The market is so much tilted against them that before they even drop any money in the market their probability of making any gain is about 30% only (do you now see why you are losing money). One of the reason is that the retail investors has failed to master what is essential for winning in the market, we like sweet stories (did I hear Fugger, Buffet, Value investing, News etc!!! continue).
An essential element of what we need knowing is how to quantify our tools for the market and be totally methodical in our approach. We run away from this, as it is too much work. The holidays afforded me the opportunity to do what I have not been able to do for decades, scanned all the major stocks in the market to see those worth looking at and then quantify my result. To my surprise I was only able to come out with few equities, for this week that I can see good opportunities in “May and Baker, Fidelity and Nacho”. One of these days I may show our worksheet for this type of scan.
For Wednesday 21 October 2018 expected High is 32,290.59 low at 32,090.03
I am still relaxing with my Nahco trade, loss position as at Monday was 5.2%.
Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan).
N:B
1. Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.
2. The fund will still hold some equity, the terms of service states this. Thus no matter the condition of the market, it will not liquidate to Zero. This is an equity fund investing in the Nigeria market.
3. You cannot bear losses like the fund. The pocket of the fund is too deep. Therefore, as an individual you are not suppose to be in the market during the stock market crash. Before or during the crash, reduce your holding.
If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts (https://www.nairaland.com/yok/posts), you will see the various sources where the data can be verified.
