Not a good recommendation for our government

Sharing the link won’t help matters either.. abi you no know say foreign investors dey here ? grin grin grin

Anyway, all this her ranting is about P&ID gas contract wey Buhari cancel ? she just cme acros like someone who lost something in that P&ID contract. She took it too personal..

“ Let us not forget that Nigeria is the only member of OPEC that is dependent upon petrol imports to keep the country going. Nigeria is ranked 145th in the world for its ease of doing business, which demonstrates the risks of investment into Nigeria. Despite the President’s public anti-corruption platform, Transparency International has not seen any reduction in corruption since Buhari took office. In fact, the precise opposite has happened, with Nigeria falling 12 places between the 2016 and 2017 rankings. President Buhari currently faces serious allegations, which include staging show trials of opponents of a regime that is accused of corruption and graft, while simultaneously shielding his own party members and inner circle.”
how is this ^ her business?
Why the thing dey pain her so much like that?
Thieves.. Buhari left no one out.. all the neighboring countries even Ghana got its own share..
Both those that are already benefiting and those planning to come and benefit when Goodluck was President, Buhari shut the door on them all..

Early this year, NSE was leading the whole world positively, so we should not be surprised now when it is leading other index negatively.

Dear Esteemed Client,

We write to inform you that Securities and Exchange Commission (”The Commission”) has set a deadline of 31 December 2018 for regularization of the following:

1. Shares purchased through multiple subscriptions during public offers

2. Shares purchased through stockbrokers, registrars, banks or other capital market operators in any combinations of names

3. Unclaimed dividends arising from the above multiple subscriptions and combinations of names

The Commission has set this deadline as part of its commitments to eliminate incidences of multiple accounts and unclaimed dividends in the Nigeria Capital Market. Please find attached the Commission’s Frequently Asked Questions for more information on multiple subscriptions.

If you are affected by any of the above stated issues, please contact FSDH Securities at fsdhsecurities@fsdhgroup.com for more information on the process and guidance on how to regularise.

NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT/MSCI NIGERIA PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT - AS AT 21 NOVEMBER 2018

MSCI portfolio is on long tern holiday. There has been no movement on the portfolio since 2nd October 2018.

Our main business for today is how to quantify opportunities in the market using best indicators available and keeping it simple as much as possible. I respect Jim Dalton (market profile indicator) so much when he confirmed that the retail investor are the losers in the market and will continue to be losers for the fact that many of them don't have the expertise to make it in the market. The market is so much tilted against them that before they even drop any money in the market their probability of making any gain is about 30% only (do you now see why you are losing money). One of the reason is that the retail investors has failed to master what is essential for winning in the market, we like sweet stories (did I hear Fugger, Buffet, Value investing, News etc!!! continue).

An essential element of what we need knowing is how to quantify our tools for the market and be totally methodical in our approach. We run away from this, as it is too much work. The holidays afforded me the opportunity to do what I have not been able to do for decades, scanned all the major stocks in the market to see those worth looking at and then quantify my result. To my surprise I was only able to come out with few equities, for this week that I can see good opportunities in “May and Baker, Fidelity and Nacho”. One of these days I may show our worksheet for this type of scan.

For Wednesday 21 October 2018 expected High is 32,290.59 low at 32,090.03

I am still relaxing with my Nahco trade, loss position as at Monday was 5.2%.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan).

N:B

1. Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

2. The fund will still hold some equity, the terms of service states this. Thus no matter the condition of the market, it will not liquidate to Zero. This is an equity fund investing in the Nigeria market.

3. You cannot bear losses like the fund. The pocket of the fund is too deep. Therefore, as an individual you are not suppose to be in the market during the stock market crash. Before or during the crash, reduce your holding.

If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts (https://www.nairaland.com/yok/posts), you will see the various sources where the data can be verified.
