Reflect deeply: the Prophet ﷺ never celebrated his own birthday. Neither did his noble companions (RA), nor the righteous generations after them. If it was truly part of Islam, then those closest to him, who loved him most, would have been the first to do it.

Unfortunately, today in places like Nigeria and elsewhere, some people use Mawlid as a means to raise money, gain popularity, or show off. But regardless of intentions or the form it takes, there is no doubt that it is an innovation (bid‘ah) and the Prophet ﷺ clearly warned against innovations in religion.

He ﷺ said:

“The most evil of affairs are the newly invented matters, and every innovation is misguidance.”
— (Abū Dāwūd, Tirmidhī)

My dear brothers and sisters, if we truly claim to love the Prophet ﷺ, then our love must be shown through following his Sunnah, adhering to his teachings, reviving his way, and avoiding what he did not do.

Let us prove our love for him by:

- Perfecting our five daily prayers.

- Increasing our salāt upon him ﷺ.

- Living by his character of mercy, honesty, and humility.

- Avoiding all innovations that he himself never practiced.

May Allah guide us to the straight path, increase us in true love for His Messenger ﷺ, and protect us from innovations that corrupt our religion. Āmīn.

PS: Don't forget to recite Suratul Khaf today.

I have realized long ago that statistics doesn't always portray the real practical truth,for instance,the Japanese or Chinese can deliberately makes their currency to be low in value against other top world currencies but in practical term this doesn't mean that the Japanese are leaving at lower standard the other countries,in fact they are actually living much better,the idea is simple,the Japanese imports very little but produces almost all their needs n they also need to make their goods cheap n attractive in the international market to keep their production on,I have never ever read a report anywhere were
the US or UK uses the higher cost of goods in other countries to justify price increase in their own country,you only hearn see such in the voodoo economics of Nigeria n Africa.

For clarification purposes, dangote has no problem with whatever the government is making from his products, he's just stating one of the ways the government makes money without directly involving in business. He pushing for government building a more conducive environment so local investors can thrive and encourage foreign investors to come in thereby increasing how much the government makes.

Frankly speaking I can't understand the noise about this crude in naira deal,if dangote is paying for the crude in naira equivalent of its price in dollars,it means in practical terms that dangote is still basically buying the crude at the same price,so if dangote is to buy the crude from NNPC in real dollars there shouldn't be any significant change in the prices of their products if the price of the crude doesn't increase significantly,the question now is,is it that NNPC don't have crude to sell to dangote due to upfront sales agreements or they are just denying dangote crude for a hidden agenda?,or is it that dangote don't have the dollars (which is highly unlikely) to buy crude from NNPC?,I don't really see the big deal about this crude for naira scheme, something keep telling me ab initio it was all a crookish design for a dubious purpose,since dangote successfullycame on stream it has always been one story to the other from NNPC,where is the results from the lab tests from the US? please anyone with relevant knowledge should clear my doubts with detail explanation because the present APC government are deceitful n completely untrustworthy.

The exact reason why such critics or struggle leaders change after attaining power is the lack principles convictions or sincerity ab initio,a lot of the supporters of such characters just fails to see through them early enough or are simply blinded by sentiments n propaganda,Mandela was a very good example of a very principled, strongly convicted n sincere struggle leader that never changed after ascending to power,to the decerning minds the case of Tinubu is never a surprise, it's only hopeful that these events amongst others should serve as the pointers for the need for a change come 2027 if Nigerians are wise enough.
