BeeBeeOoh:There is something sinister about the involvement of NNPC with the dangote refinery operations, come to think of it,why can't NNPC sell the crude to dangote in naira n let dangote fix his own price n sell directly to his customers?,there was a story yesterday on another media that nnpcl will be selling to marketers at #765 while the marketers are expected to sell to Nigerians at between #850-#900 but no mention was made of how much nnpc would be buying from Dangote!,now assuming dangote is selling at #700,if marketers we're to buy directly at this rate then the pump price shouldn't be more than #800 or #850 at most which would be fair enough n going forward if the operations of the refinery can help to improve the rate of the naira the price could even decreased. Its now clear that all the noise all along was to create an avenue for the oil cabals to continue to feed off helpless Nigerians, most painful enough the government is undoubtedly not unaware or not part of it,I have a feeling dangote is not happy with this whole scenario but his hands are tied, someday in the future the whole truth would be exposed, why should something produced here in Nigeria has to go round so many entities before getting to the buyers?,why is this so particular with petrol n not other products? |
dre11:The government through the NNPC are never sincere, they are the cause of the high cost, now they have reach an agreement with dangote for only the NNPC to offtake dangote's fuel then resell to other marketers who would then sell to Nigerians, what sort of evil arrangements is that for a product producted in Nigeria?,why can every customer buy n load directly from Dangote including nnpc retail?,they have craftly created a system that would guarantees their continuos exploitation of poor Nigerians n people are here justifying it with nonsense Gramma,,It was clear at least to me long ago that this was the ultimate plan behind all the hurdles n delays,at this point I don't know if dangote is helpless in this unholy arrangements or he willfully agreed to it,but someday the truth will emerge. |
farady:Thank you so so much for your very detailed answer, now please are there,1. passenger planes that are capable of VTOL(vertical takeoff and landing)?,2.passenger helicopters that can carry up to twenty persons at a time? |
Racoon:please just out of curiosity, can plane fly at slow speed like at 40km/hr? |
Omooba77:Between Dangote, nnpc, oil marketers n the federal government, there's a hidden fact that would surely emerge someday. |
iwaeda:Now I think this is the real situation, because dangote imported his crude abroad n transported it to Nigeria couple with other expenses,it total cost was high,so the cost of pms from this production is high n not sustainable so dangote want the government to come in pending when he can get crude locally to beat down cost or the cabal are carefully executing schemes behind forcing dangote to work along with them to key in their interest before dangote hits the market, come to think of it,what would be the fate of the numerous large tank farms in Lagos and else where when dangote finally get fully functional?, will the owners of these investment just give them up like that without some manoeuvring?what about other entities with vested interest in the petroleum import business?,if Nigeria don't get a descent leader to lead her,we shall continue to lament indefinitely. |
Sheuns:Be sincere with yourself, considering that dangote imported his crude as NNPC has failed or refuse to sell crude to him,how does anyone expect dangote's petrol to be cheaper?,these people are only out to frustrate dangote but las las dangote will laugh at Nigeria |
adenigga:The NNPC n APC government are out to frustrate dangote n systematically continue to rip Nigerians, how on earth do you sincerely expect dangote's fuel to be cheaper than the foreign one with imported crude?,why can't NNPC guarantees dangote enough local crude n make this condition?, eventually dangote will find enough market for his products n Nigeria would be shamed,I hope than the federal government wouldn't use their authority to clamp down on his business?,what sort of a country is ours?. |
Rubyjade:Hahahaaaah,I lie? |
nairalanda1:Let dangote speak for himself, but what I know is this,if dangote buys crude from abroad the refined pms would certainly be higher but if dangote can get crude from nnpc which is very doubtful, the refined pms would be lower in price, the government n nnpc are never sincere n transparent in this matter at all, it's such a shame. |
nairalanda1:No, rather what I believe about all these is that,if dangote is allowed to freely fix his price it may be between #700-#800 per litre n majorly, dangote functioning fully will render all the numerous tank farms built for import business useless, cut out the massive corrupt benefits of the oil cabal n other looses,so they are all trying to ensure that dangote agreed to a price regime to cater for their continuos interests too. |
ogododo:E be like say una neva understand the full meaning n implications of emi lo kan! |
enemyofprogress:The secret is this, most skinny men are endowed with big gbolas that only fat ladies can enjoy with out much pains, skinny ladies finds it difficult n painful having sex with them,If you doubt it just carry out a careful research n see. |
iwaeda:Thanks for this nice piece of write up,the last paragraph really capture it squarely. |
Racoon:Everything Reno the obi avid hater wrote up their is true in this case, but let Tinubu allow dangote refinery itself to fix their pms price like they did for diesel, I'm sure on his own dangote's price would be below #800,the government is surely manipulating the who thing to key in their selfish interests. |
dre11:Is there anything about this administration that clean clear n straight forward at all?,if not fraud n deceit how can the FEC be the one to determine the price of the product of a private company where the raw material for production is not subsidized?, it's now clear that all hurdles placed against dangote n the increase in fuel prices were all planned schemes to force dangote into an unholy cooperation n fix an artificial fuel pump price to factor in their selfish continuous exploitation of Nigerians,I don't blame dangote as he was boxed in n had to make a choice out a terrible situation, now going forward we should expect a government crony to be spokesman for dangote who would always be giving reasons to align with government position on any fuel matter from Dangote refinery where the same government couldn't even pay for there forced shares!, Nigeria don really enter, everybody go hear am |
Olaide1295:There's surely something the government can do,generate revenue massively locally and stop borrowing to strengthen the naira to make our fuel not attractive for smuggling, how can government generate the revenue?, here's how,get a list of the top 20 already registered n public quoted construction companies in Nigeria n other reputable foreign ones, divide the network of Nigerian dilapidated roads into lots of 200km each, contract out the lots to the companies to construct n toll the roads on an agreed sharing formula, talk to Nigerians sincerely to understand your intention, let the companies immediately make the roads usable n build the toll gates immediately n let the revenue rebuild the roads to standard n the excess to be use for other things, establish security camps on the road n eliminate unnecessary check points, you can imagine the millions of jobs this scheme would create n the trillions that would be generated, this is all possible within a year with decent leadership. |
WriterNig:May Trump win the coming elections so that idiots like these would be kept away from the US,bunch of hypocritic extremist, they don't see anything wrong with the activities of HAMAS HOUTHIS N HIZBOLLAH but blames n hate the US for supporting Israel, imagine the Hamas crying victims over a conflict they started n still holding unto hostages n even murdering some yet they want peace!. ![]() |

aminulive:I just don't know what Nigeria wants, whether is to continue importing fuel from outside or for local refineries to work!, Nigeria is really such giant bag of irony. |
essentialone:you be mumu. |
id4sho:Me make i deflate your tummy, which of the wavelength have you attained?, have you even penetrated ordinary paper? abi this science is only for the white man to understand? |
adenigga:There's nothing surprising about this, the CFA is now stronger than the naira so what do we expect with our voodoo economics? |
id4sho:science self no be another juju?,ok see how remote control dey work, dat one no de wonder you? |
ogododo:But I thought it's said that all these traditional rulers posses strong juju abi bandits juju don pass their own?,if na so then, who see way run mek e run ooh! |
Islie:so the dangote products would not be substandard again abi?, useless people. |
Yourprick:This APC government is just too full of deceit n deception n they think everyone is just a fool, imagine this statement by nnpc!, during buhari they came up with "underecovery" now under Tinubu they have come up with "shortfall responsibility" n they expect that everyone would just accept their stupid explanations, what is subsidy n what is the essence of subsidy?,how is the so call underecovery or shortfall responsibility different from subsidy in practical terms?,Apc are just using grammar to dabaru the situation as fela would say, it's simply fraudulent justification of criminality. |
dre11:To solve this problem is so simple, most of the money being recieve by the NASS members is for constituency projects which is an abnormality,so if Tinubu is serious about stopping it,he should simply send an executive bill to the NASS on strict seperatio of powers n activities of the various arms of government barring each arm from playing roles of another arm n let's see how the NASS would react to that. |
