Hello everyone. Could someone please advise me on walk in at the VI visa office. All the dates Im finding are too far and priority is not even available anymore. |

mescanayo:Thanks! My father is the sponsor. Im going for commercial law. What about you? |
Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing well. I would like to seek some advise. I recently accepted an offer to the University of Aberdeen. I would like to know if I can use my sponsor's account for my proof of funds to obtain my CAS and also for the visa application. I look forward to your responses. Thank you. |
Good day everyone. I would really appreciate your advice. When I was having trouble sending the additional documents that IRCC requested from me, I found out through the Lagos visa office that my file was with the Nairobi office, but I've emailed Nairobi twice now and I have still not gotten any response from them even though my issue was time sensitive. Luckily I sent the documents via email and through webform to Nairobi and the main IRCC webform. I only got a response from the main webform reiterating that Nairobi has my file and they also let me know that the appropriate department has received my documents. But till today nothing from Nairobi. Is this how they are? I really thought they were more efficient than this. I submitted my application since April 16th and my eligibility review hasn't even started not to talk of medicals and I sent all the NSE documents. This entire process is just frustrating. I pray it will end in praise for all of us on this journey. |
lolathegenie:Yes @lawfree638 answered my question. Thank you so much both of you. Sadly, when I click on view submitted application or upload documents there is no row for me to submit the additional documents request. All i see are the documents I have already uploaded and submitted. I noticed that where it says "Details about your application status" , under review of additional documents, mine says not applicable. It is like they havent updated my application at all. I applied since April 16th and there is not review of eligibility or of medicals even though i uploaded upfront medicals. I uploaded all NSE documents. I feel like something else is happening and I dont know what it is. |
lawfree638:Unfortunately there are no new columns there. I check everyday multiple times and nothing changes. It is really frustrating |
lolathegenie:When you were asked to upload additional documents, was there a link that appeared in your account/portal after you got the request letter for the additional document or did it come later. Im asking because I got a request letter to upload additional documents since last week monday but I havent been able to upload the documents because my account isnt showing where i can upload it to. |
Hello everyone. I got a request letter last week Monday for me to provide additional documents (specifically an updated study place and proof of income and funds of my sponsor in the past 6 months). I have been given 30 days to submit but i have gathered the documents now. The request letter specifically stated that I should upload the documents on the IRCC portal not via webform or email which makes sense cos I'm including my sponsor's financial documents. The issue is that there is no link for me to upload additional documents in the portal. I sent a webform requesting for a method for me to send the documents and I also reported it as a technical issue on the portal but i still have not heard anything and Im beginning to worry. Has anyone ever had this experience and does anyone have any advice on how i can proceed. Thank you in advance for you help. |
That is true. I am trying to see how I can upload the documents but there is no link in my account. The request letter I got specifically stated that I should not send any documents via email or webform but they have not provided any link in the portal. Is there anyway that I can contact them to bring this to their attention? lawfree638: |
Thank you I'll do that. My school was suppose to resume in July but i deferred my admission to October. Leyemoshood: |
Good day everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I would greatly appreciate some advice. On Monday, I received a Request Letter and they want documentation on the following: - Updated study plan outlining the purpose of your studies; - Confirmation of who is funding your studies in Canada and their relationship to you, and proof of their income and funds for the last 6 months - Confirmation of whether you are or have been represented either by a designated individual or paid representative, and if so have you submitted a completed form (designated individual IMM5475/ paid representative IMM5476) I am wondering if anyone else got such request. I have gotten proof of my sponsors income and funds for the last 6 months but with regards to my updated study plan, I am not sure what more I can include that was not in my original study plan. I would really appreciate if any of the gurus in the house could advise me because it seems like this is what is standing in the way of me getting my study visa. |
My eligibility review hasn't started. I think I'll just defer my program. Thank you so much buckyfof: |
Thank you Mobi22: |
Good day everyone. I submitted my application on the 16th of April with all the NSE documents and the only update on my application is my biometrics. I even included my upfront medicals to my application and there is still no update on regarding that on my application. I understand that the claims that by providing all the documents required for the Nigeria Student Express does not guarantee that your application will be processed within 20 days or even a month but I was hoping that there would at least be some updates on my application by now. Due to the fact that my academic session is meant to start in June, I ensured I got all my NSE documents together so my application could be processed quickly but at this point I think I would have to defer my admission. I don't know what to do now. I feel so helpless. I am not sure if I should bother ordering for GCMS notes as I hear that in itself takes over 30 days. Please I would greatly appreciate any advice. The stress is too much. Thank you all and God bless. |
