That wouldn't be of any help to the OP. Look at all the prayers and pastors in Nigeria and the country is still a mess.
That's your personal, warped opinion.

But trust me, THE ALMIGHTY GOD always delights in putting people like you to shame by doing the miraculous and inconceivable.

You've just challenged HIM, and HE'LL definitely rise to the occasion, and make you eat your words.

In my opinion, this guy has been as calm and civil as anyone, especially with that antagonistic woman that has been on his trail from the get go, considering the type of pressure he's been under, all this while.

In fact, I like his demeanor so far, cos some other person would have lost their cool or withdrawn into their shell, cus of the intimidation, accusations and counter-accusations from some people on this forum, you inclusive.

You know why I am optimistic about this case that he is innocent?

If I had followed the facts at my disposal from the internet, I could have thought otherwise...but after studying timestamps and his evidences, I felt otherwise.

And that's because I patiently listened to him, and patiently examined his facts.

We cannot say they are doctored since they are part of the case.

I also studied the parts of his three attorneys! Permit me to say, with due respect, they were racist lawyers.

This was why I urged everyone to be patient.

Abeg, they do this to black men all the time. My cousin; was locked for 9 months on the same false rape case.

Only after heavy pressure and investigation by resourceful Nigerian's did the Oyinbo come out to confess. He was not the guy who raped her. wink

The truth is a lot of black men are incarcerated because it was convenient. A white man could never have gotten such an ugly sentence innocent or otherwise.

I want to use this opportunity to appeal to Nigerians in the diaspora to connect powerhouse with black pressure groups and lawyers as it stands they are the only group with experience in cases like this.
GOD in HIS infinite Mercy that helped your cousin to regain his freedom will help this guy too.

Let me explain sth to you.

He was in jail when those lawyers were suggested to him. I mean his lawyers. He wanted a fair trial..and he couldn't go out. He had to work with them. The first three were same White people from Georgia.

After the long run, he wasn't satisfied with their processes...since he was limited. Remember, he is still in jail footing all the bills..some very exorbitant...and it seemed they were only interested in extorting him (my words).

He sacked them and was standing for himself alone. When the judgement was passed, he was standing alone. He couldn't interrupt when the judge was saying all the things to the jury. He was standing alone. The jury never heard his DNA expert results because he would have been acquitted then. Yes, he would. The judge never gave a room for that tho.

The judge got flared up of his incessant legal fightback and translated it to being not remorseful, hence the gory and long sentences!. Who is remorseful about what they didn't do?

The whole world knows Georgia to be a very tight place for Blacks. Those dudes discriminate a lot.

Also it is ideal to note that it was the Police who provided every thing used to label him a criminal. The same police who stopped him and questioned him of his SUV ..which they later didn't talk about again but brought in the rape case. Initially, they questioned him about the SUV..then diverted to the rape case. He didn't want to respond to them because he wanted his lawyer to speak for him since he didn't know what they were up to. They resorted to saying they shall put the whole charges on him (his words).

Think: who rapes sb in the park of all places when he has a lodge he was staying close there with a room?

What he was wearing was different from what the footage showed. Can sb be at two places the same time? They arrested him cos he was closest to the scene.

Why is the police refusing to accept the DNA expert's results...a professional with over 43 years of experience? Is the police hiding sth?

His DNA with that of the results for the vaginal and the cum didn't match! His contained 20, that was 10...and 10 was the rapist! But the police rather termed it inconclusive...and you and I know what being inconclusive meant! Why were they standing on the fence? Science is rather yes or no.

Then this brings another question. What or who is being protected here? Why is this partial? Because he is black? Why is the judge so enveloped with bitterness to serve him such sentence? That meant if humans lived 1000 years, she was ready to give him it to restrict him for life!

This case is since 2017! Do you know what it feels to be behind bars since then...and most painful when you are innocent?

This could happen to anyone.
Imagine...!

Kindly shut up and get off your high horse.
The issue on ground is if he really committed the crime or not and if there’s any miscarriage of justice. No one is interested in your useless stories and sanctimonious grandstanding.

Wether powerhouse5050 bought six or six hundred suvs in two months isn't why he’s in jail but for rape, those cars didn’t play any role in his case as far as I can see but trust most Nigerians, their jealousy attitude and stupid logic; he bought six suvs in two months therefore he must be guilty of anything he’s accused of. Listen, anyone not giving the op the benefit of doubt with the evidence he’s posted so far is a sadist! Especially that lady mouthing off that she’s a JD or whatever, this is how most Nigerians in America behave, siding the system even if their own is being wronged.

The last one I'd like to share happened more than 15 years ago.

It happened that I was praying one night in my room, around 11:30pm-12 midnight.
I'd not even started praying yet, just singing praise and worship songs, when suddenly, I saw an all-white image come into my room and the big chains on my wrists and ankles broke loose..!! All by themselves.

That DIVINE BEING that walked into my room did not touch me, neither did he come near me, just stood by the door of my room for a short while, and after the chains got broken, HE left.

It's worthy to note that prior to that time, I never knew I had spiritual chains that bound me, and could have prevented me from moving forward in life, or achieving my divine destiny.
But I thank the ALMIGHTY GOD, WHO, in HIS infinite Mercy broke my chains and set me free.

It's also worthy to note here that praise and worship, especially done from a sincere and pure heart yields results, at times better than just praying alone.

One of my pastors once said if, as a child of GOD, you've prayed, fasted, given, restituted and done all you need to do for a particular situation and you've not gotten answers to your prayer requests, then try PRAISES... they work wonders!

They can break both known and unknown chains and curses, and set the captives free from all forms of bondage and oppression.

Reason I laugh at times, when I hear some say there's no GOD, no powers of darkness or no evil.

Dem no sabi anything...this world is deeper than we think, and wickedness takes place in high places, and it's only by GOD'S Mercy and Grace that we're not consumed..
HALLELUJAH...!!!!!

Another one I want to share happened when I was in my final year in Uni.

That evening, I came back from lectures and was in my room with my other roommates and I just slept off on the bed..

It was a deep and dreamless sleep, and all of a sudden I just felt a hand press my right thigh deeply, and I woke up, thinking it was one of my roommates that was trying to wake me up, but lo and behold..! No one was in the room with me!

I was the only one, and immediately I woke up and turned (cus I was facing the wall when I slept) I saw something like a white apparition disappear right through the door!
There was light that night and everywhere was illuminated, so I just looked round, saw no one but I wasn't afraid.

Cos a divine voice told me I had just experienced a divine visitation from an Angel of the LORD while asleep, and he just wanted me to know, that's why he touched me and I woke up.
I was very happy, and even as I type, I still feel glad about that particular experience.

Immediately I woke up, not too long after, my roommates starting coming in one after the other, and I never mentioned my experience to anyone of them.

Now, I guess the reason they were all out as at that time, was so that I wouldn't think it was one of them that touched me.

GOD wanted me to know that I had had a divine visitation!

The second one I wanna share also happened when I was very very young.. around maybe 10 or 11.

Now....in my area then, there was a woman who used to fry and sell Akara and fried yams, and I'm a fan of these two snacks, especially Akara crumbs.
So, one night, I just felt like eating fried yams, and I went to this woman's place, cus it wasn't far from my house, and told her I wanted to buy it.
She now sold the amount I wanted, and dashed me one small piece of Akara ( the only one remaining in her tray that night). I thanked her and left, but immediately I started walking back home, one voice kept on ringing in my head "Don't eat that Akara...don't eat that Akara..!

That voice kept on saying that till I got home. If I'd known, I would have heeded to that voice and thrown the Akara away, but I guess greed overcame my reasoning and I was like "shebi it's this small Akara, let me eat it jare".

I ate it, and hmmm...! Wetin my eyes see for night, no be here ooo...
I couldn't sleep throughout the night, and it was as if I was in a battle....like my soul was being dragged out of my body... in fact, I can't even accurately describe it now, but it was scary...!
But thanks be to GOD, morning came and I woke up disoriented.

It was later I had the understanding that the bean cake was a bewitched one, and by eating it, I would have been initiated into witchcraft that night ( cus later the whole neighborhood later got to know that, that woman and her mother that were both selling the fried Akara were ogbonge witches.)
And that was the reason that divine voice was warning me, but greed no let me hear word.

If not for the divine intervention of GOD, I would have been unknowingly initiated, but because GOD loves me, HE made it impossible for them to summon my spirit that night into their coven, and that's why I had that nasty experience, cos they wanted to force me against my will.
Thank GOD!!!

And that's why till date I don't eat anyhow, or anywhere. I hardly eat in people's houses, my friends inclusive, and I'm very selective about the parties I attend as well.

And that's the principle I instilled in my kids when they were growing up... never take anything from anyone to eat, especially their classmates.
In fact, when they were still very young, in nursery and primary school, I used to personally go to their class teachers to warn them never to give my kids anything to eat, especially the birthday party packs some kids take to school in the name of celebrating birthdays.
(Not saying all are bewitched oo..but one can never be too careful)
And till date, my kids still abide by that rule.
We're living in dangerous times, and only GOD'S mercy is keeping us safe from the powers of darkness.

IAMBOSS1990:
Abeg share more.
Lol...ok.
Let me tell you about one or two more.

This one happened when I was still very young, I think maybe in junior secondary school.
That night, we had all slept, and all of a sudden, I just woke up sweating, and feeling so hot.
There was power outage, and there was so much heat in the room, as if there was no ventilation at all and I was covered in sweat, and almost breathless (this is something that had never occurred to me before), and I thought I was going to faint any minute.

At last I got up to go sit near the window and still didn't feel relieved, so I decided to just say a little word of prayer in my heart that GOD should make rain fall, so I could get some fresh air.

Lo and behold! It was as if GOD was waiting for me to say that short prayer and in an instant, a very cold breeze began to blow, and within minutes, rain started falling! And this is a period when rain was not expected to fall... can't remember the month again.
I was dazed..! I couldn't believe it, and in my mind, I like "so GOD is so near and can answer prayers like this?"
It is very interesting to note that, after that night, rain didn't fall again, and that particular rain was not a heavy one, though I don't know how long it lasted cos I'd fallen asleep again.

I wholeheartedly agree with your last sentence, but that your first sentence no enter at all...
That sentencing was waaay too harsh for the crime, if truly he did it.

Did he commit murder? It was not a case of homicide na... and even serial killers don't get slammed with such heavy sentences most times.

So why the harsh sentences? It's not fair in my opinion.
Equity and justice should be the watchword of any criminal justice system, anywhere in the world, especially in advanced countries like the US.

I don't know why...but deep within me I still believe this guy is innocent.
Call it sentiments or whatever, but I believe he was wrongly condemned.
Or maybe cus I know that the American judicial system is not perfect too, and many innocent people have been wrongly convicted in the past, especially Blacks.
That aside, that sentencing was too heavy for his crime.
Heck...! people get lesser sentences for first/ second degree murder, and even get paroled after serving part of their jail time.
But in his case, the judge simply threw the books at him.

In any case, I believe in the power and efficacy of prayers, and i would admonish the guy in question to pray and fast for GOD'S divine intervention, cos that's the only thing remaining for him to do now.
If he has family back home, he can also implore them to join him in prayers.
After all said and done, taking it too the spiritual level na im remain and I believe GOD will answer our prayers (yes... cos I've also prayed for him today and will continue to do so) inasmuch as he's truly innocent, GOD will surely intervene.

It's very possible. It seem you don't know how injustice pervades the United States justice system. Go online and read about people, mostly blacks jailed for crimes they know nothing about, sometimes framed by police or in some cases the victim just pick on the wrong suspect from mug shots. You are likely saying this because you are based in Nigeria, and America seem all rosy and perfect to you. Those of us that live here know how bad things are. If I give Nigeria 10/10 for level of injustice, I will give America 7/10. For example, the father of Jamie Fox, the comedian and singer, was sent to jail on a longterm for possessing a very tiny amount of marijuana. A white suspect would have been let off. Thanks to DNA technology, a lot cases are being revisited. The man in the story below spent 44yrs in jail for a crime he know nothing about.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/ronnie-long-freed-44-years-prison-wrongful-conviction/
You hit the nail on the head, Bro.
To many Nigerians who have never travelled abroad, America is like Heaven to them. But the reality is what you've just penned down now.

I'd advise them to watch ID channel on DSTV or GOTV and see for themselves, how the American Justice system works.
Then they'll know that in their judicial judgements, there's a different sentencing for Whites, Blacks, and foreigners, especially Africans.
So much prejudice goes into their judgements, especially if the crime is committed by a Black on a White, and worse still, if the jury deciding the case is an all-White one.

The only difference between injustice in Naija and America is that they treat their own criminals better in terms of the living conditions in their prison system, and the police also give the alleged criminals the human respect they deserve during interrogation, unlike Naija, where dem go don use beating and torture scatter your head in the process of "interrogation".

For all those saying it's a poor harmless snake, and ought not be killed, what if the guy had been driving and it suddenly bit him or curled around his leg or entered into his trousers?
Don't you think it could have caused an accident that could take the guy's life?
Btw... that's a very deadly snake that was killed.
I know because they've killed one in my house before...in my bathroom... when we packed newly into our house that was in a new neighbourhood and close to the Army Reservation Land... so snakes and scorpions were our regular visitors before they eventually fenced off the land from our area.

It was one of our neighbours that helped me kill the snake that said it's one of the most dangerous snakes in the world and it strikes its victims four times in rapid succession, and the victims hardly survive the venom.

So abeg, let the OP go and do Thanksgiving in church oo...cus I can't imagine what could have happened if he hadn't been fortunate enough to see it first.

The second experience I had was with a friend of mine.
We were course mates at the University, and somewhat became a bit close.

So when we were through at the uni, everyone dispersed, but I later got to know that she was living in the same city I settled in.
So she invited me over for a visit and I went, and decided to spend the night at her house, cus the distance between her house and mine was quite much.

Anyway, we sha gisted into the night and I slept in her room, on the same bed.
Immediately I closed my eyes, I just started having dream attacks...all sorts.. like someone was actually pinching me etc and suddenly I woke up, only to find my so-called friend staring at me with a smile on her face!
And she was like they were attacking you, abi?
I was shocked!

Omo... I just started praying immediately and speaking in tongues, till I overcame my fright and was able to go back to sleep.

That day was the day I discovered that my friend na coded witch oo.
Don't know why she decided to attack me and I didn't ask.
But from that day, I gave her a wide berth, till she travelled out of the country.

This is the first time I would be sharing this too.
Never told anyone before now.
FamilyRe: Something You Saw As A Child, That No One Saw Or Believes You Till This Day. by deewhytee: 9:36pm On Jul 26, 2021
Well, I've had so many experiences like I said earlier, but let me just share one or two.

First one happened one time I was coming back home from church. (This thing happened more than ten years ago).
I was driving home on the expressway to my house in the night, around 7:30-8pm, and suddenly, my car headlights just went off.
I parked somewhere near a petrol station and tried everything I could to bring the lights back on to no avail, and I started panicking cos there was no way I could leave my car there and go home.

So I decided to continue driving, trying to use other vehicles' rear lights to guide me, but I was finding it difficult.
Suddenly, a white salon car just came out of nowhere, and I started following it, and this car actually led me home.
It wasn't moving too fast, and because it was pure white, I could see it in the dark.

To cut the long story short, this car actually made a turn to everywhere I was supposed to pass through to get home, and when I finally got to my neighborhood, it just branched off somewhere, and till date, I never saw that car again.

Someone might say it's coincidental, but my question is.. why did it come out of nowhere..
Why was it going to exactly my direction, without speeding too much that I could follow it safely.
Why did it eventually branch off when I got to my hood where I was able to safely get home?
And why was it WHITE?
No doubt, that was no coincidence but divine help from above.

Never shared this story until now.
GOD IS REAL!

I have so many experiences I would have loved to share too, but let me keep quiet, cus some are quite outrightly unbelievable.
But believe you me, they're real and not imagined and most of them happened to me as an adult.

This world is deeper than the natural eyes can see, and the natural brain can fathom.

May GOD help us all.
