Exactly, we plead for his unconditional and safe release |
THE GROUP, ADVOCACY FOR THE ACTUALIZATION OF OGONI FREEDOM (AAOF) CONDEMN THE ABDUCTION OF A FATHER OF ALL (MR. PATRICK BIENWI) WHO WAS ABDUCTED THIS EVENING (29/06/2016) BY UNKNOWN GUN MEN FROM HIS RESIDENCE IN BORI. The group, Advocacy for the Actualization of Ogoni freedom (AAOF) condemn in strong terms the abduction of one MR. PATRICK BIENWI from his residence in Bori. Mr. Patrick Bienwi is not medically strong to face such inhuman treatment, neither is he holding any political office... Hence, we call for his immediate and unconditional release. We also appeal to MOSOP, Freedom minded organizations as well as the good people of Ogoni to rise and speak against this evil wind taken over Ogoni Land. We as well call on the Khana LGA Chairman, the State Government and all Security Agencies to swing into action in ensuring the safe release of Mr. PARTRICK BIENWI. In view of the unfortunate incidence, the group, Advocacy for the Actualization of Ogoni Freedom (AAOF), employed all Ogoni youth to think positively and engage in what will bring meaningful development to Ogoni, and avoid acts capable of bringing doom to our land. The Ogoni people say no to kidnapping, cultism and other social vices as such display can only bring Ogoni to developmental retrogression. Sign....... Comrd Deezia Burabari Sunday (Coordinator, AAOF)

That story is fake, The Ogoni indigenous people are not Biafrans and can never be part of Biafra... however, the Ogoni people wishes Biafra well in their freedom struggle. |
NIGER DELTA: THE SMOKED HOPE Here you go again with several vein, You keep cutting them again and again, My hope caught in mockery, My change chain in surgery, I perceive danger, Is there an avenger? Where is the Eagles legacy? Why celebrate evil intentions, And skillful deception? My hope is smoked in fantasy, The world is boil, With the curse of oil. Is oil a blessing or a curse? Anger strike pouts, Looking for birds of the sky, Fishes that swim with style, Frogs that croak in spry. Ah! The sun rays in fade, Should I avenge and perish in bade? Greed! The legacy of fools, With their fallow field of hope, With deception my wealth escape, They stomp on my fame, In doom I gloom, With chorus in avengers. LONG LIVE NIGER DELTA BY DEEZIA BURABARI SUNDAY

VENI VIDI VICI::::WE CAME WE SAW WE CONQUERED; HAPPY POP We came as young people with the yearning and desire to serve our father's land. We came as innocent children knowing nothing about the tradition, customs and beliefs of where we were posted to. We came as a representative of each institutions, families, state, zones and tribe as one Nigeria. We came as ourselves. We saw ourselves scared of new experiences, and other challenges of NYSC. We saw ourselves being maltreated by some communities and Landlords/Ladies. We saw ourselves living regimented, with new skills, with what to, and what not do. We saw ourselves worried over CDS, CLEARANCE, PPA ASSIGNMENT and HEAD COUNT. We saw ourselves adjusting, managing, squatting, and hopefully expecting this great day (April 14, 2016) to come. We conquered ourselves with guidance from many people, and NYSC. We conquered minds to learn and to grow. we conquered our souls to walk with God. We conquered our hearts so we can face our tomorrows. We conquered ourselves by being part of today's celebration. The very day, we have all being waiting for.... Indeed, We Came; We Saw; We Conquered MAY GOD BE PRAISED..... FROM COMRD, DEEZIA BURABARI SUNDAY

THE NEED FOR VALUES EDUCATION School is the product of the society, just as the society is a reflection of the school. The larger Nigeria society is a manifestation of unbridled corruption and large-scale indiscipline starting from the family to other agents of socialization. The tragedy of absence of values education in Nigeria is enormous because the child feeds back whatever he learns from the school to the larger society. Everywhere in Nigeria is a mountain of dirtiness, every politician you meet is a personification of greed, fraud and corruption, every young man you meet is intoxicated with dreams of materialism through quick money (Wait and take Solutions), every executive leader you encounter is a despotic tingod with megalomaniac potentials... Hence, Sole Soyinka asserted that, the hottest zone in hell will be reserved for those who in the face of adversaries and wicked government, remain silent. There is no magic in education, except as we give it magic. Education can kill, bind up or tear apart, lift or deprave. Learn to use it well. Values like fair-play, justice, self-reliance, truth, courage, love, morals, selflessness, sacrifice, patriotism, endurance, discipline and host of others has been traded upon. Teachers are the main determinant of quality in education; if they are apathetic, uncommitted, uninspired, lazy, unmotivated, immoral, antisocial, the whole nation is doomed; if they are ignorant, they are not only useless but also dangerous. It is only in Nigeria that a local government councillor earns more than a professor that impacts knowledge... That tells a lot about Nigeria. If a medical doctor makes a mistake the patient may die, if an accountant makes a mistake, some money may be lost, if an engineer makes a mistake, the bridge may collapse, but if a teacher makes a mistake, the effects may be ever lasting..... The man behind the machine is more important than the machine... Hence, let's join hands in adding value to our educational system. Its still Comrd Deezia Burabari Sunday, Sharing his philosophical view.... — burabarisunday@gmail.com |
THE COST OF FREEDOM: WHAT HAS THE OGONI STRUGGLE COST YOU? JOHN LAR-WISA YOUR GOODNESS SHALL SPEAK FOR YOU===== The pen is mightier than sword, But the tongue is mightier than them both. l am for truth, no matter who tells it. I am for justice, No matter who is for or against. No body can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you are a MAN you take it. To struggle is my life, I will continue fighting for freedom until the end of my days. Oh! JOHN LAR-WISA, you told me that "Together we shall win" It pains to say goodbye. Man's goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished. What counts in life is not the mere facts that we have lived,it is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we had lived. JOHN LAR-WISA! You denied yourself freedom for the freedom of the Ogoni Nation. Your goodness shall speak for you. RIP Comrd. DEEZIA, BURABARI SUNDAY Admin. Advocacy for Ken Saro-Wiwa as a National Figure.

Am not here make gues of anybody, if biafran cannont go on with their struggle without Ogoni People let them come for negotiation. For as long as l know Ogoni is not biafra and can never be. All we want is freedom. |
THEY ARE ALL IMPIRTANT TO OUR HISTORY BASE ON THEIR ROLE, BUT WE CAN'T TALK ABOUT ALL AT THE SAME TIME. |
OGONI MUST SURVIVE |
This picture is gotten from South African 'Virginity Test Festival' During this festival, those that claimed to be virgin are expected to come out and prove their virginity, after wish a certificate is being giving to those confirmed as virgins. However, so many has written against such practice, considering the way and manner of which such test are being carried out. Ogoni People are not this myopic in reasoning. |
The Ogoni People are not Biafrans and can never be part of Biafra.
Hence, we wish Biafrans goodluck in their plight for freedom. |
The Ogoni People are not Biafrans and cannever be part of Biafra. Hence, we wish Biafrans goodluck in their plight for freedom... |
OGONI PEOPLE WHERE ARE WE? How long shall they kill our prophet, while we stand aside and look? How fair is it for your father to recommend that a stranger should take the whole of your shirt and spare one or two bottons? After the 24 years of oil 'exploitation' in Ogoni, Ken Saro-Wiwa emerged in 1993.He had quietly done his homework as someone who was intellectually sound, occassionally involved in politics and an international businessman who lived in London. He pressented the Ogoni Bill of Rights to the Federal Government of Ibrahim Babangida. After much campaign Ken Saro-Wiwa with eight of his Kinsmen was killed. After the dead of Ken Saro-Wiwa,apart from #UNEP_REPORT MOSOP has no other story to tell the Ogoni People. Dr.Diigbo came up that he cant be alife and watch Ken's vission being truncated, with UNDRIP backup he Declared the Ogoni Self Government, but many doubted the reality of that declaration. To know the true position of Ogoni, join COP USA and others on 4/1/2016 at Bane Kens burial ground.

A HOUSE DEVIDED AGAINST ITSELF CANNOT STAND. After the unjustful murder of KEN SARO-WIWA and his kins-men (The Ogoni Nine).People have been saying, working and doing what they like in the name of Ogoni and Ken Saro-Wiwa,which has left the following questions unanswered. =Where was the level of the Ogoni freedom struggle before the execution of Ken Saro-Wiwa and others? =Where is the level of Ogoni freedom sruggle today? =Where are we heading to? =And what's the hope of getting there? We observe that people now use the Ogoni struggle to score cheap political points, empower themselves and family. Some individuals now run the struggle like their personal estate with bias mind. One began to wounder, If we all work towards the actualization of Ken's vision, why the division.Hence the Councile of Ogoni Professional (COP)USA, is calling on all Ogoni sons and daughters not minding your affiliation and belif to gather at Ken's burial ground (Bane) come 4/01/2016,for spiritual rejuvenation,UNITY,Love and 1 voice

A CALL FOR UNITY IN OGONI STRUGGLE Oh! if it where to be now it wouldn't hava happened. ln one of my write up l compair the attrbute of KEN to that of CHRIST. His death was the highest sacrifice in Ogoni, Niger Delta and the world minority at large. He died as ransome for you and l to have a home and a say. I will not leave the visions and struggle of Ken Saro-Wiwa to be truncated with personal interest, nor will l surrender. Only through hardship, sacrifice and militant action can freedom be won. The struggle is my life.I will continue fighting for freedom until the end of my days. Hence, all what the Ogoni people are asking from its leaders is an all-Inclussive Leadership, UNITY, LOVE and ONE VOICE gearing towards achieving Ogoni Political Autonomy, which is the only true Ogoni Mandate. Ignoring all prejudice, beliefs, personal interest, status, degrees, sex and tribe etc. Enough of pro and anti groups/interest in our argitation, for indeed,a devided house cannot stand.Unity brings victory.

This poem is dedicated to the environmental and human rights activist, a writer, business man, politician and a crusader, KEN SARO-WIWA who was unjustly murdered with eight others by Royal Dutch/Shell and the Nigerian government in 1995. LIKE KEN LIKE CHRIST Tree of beauty, tree of light! Tree with royal purple delight! Like Christ like Ken, One who's dear arm so widely flung, The weight of indigenou minority ransom hung, The price of human kind to pay, And spoil the spoiler of his prey. A grief without pang, void, dark and drear, A stifled, drowsy unimpassioned grief, Which finds no natural outlet, nor relief, In word, or sigh or tear. In angry, scheming, restless day and night, They bent on ranging and prowling in our plight, With weapons borne of monster serpent, Sharp with flung unsparing dent. I stand to defend my patrimony, To transform the jinglng into beautiful symphony, Guns of the world, the casuistry of weapons, Casually threat my visions, But upon the Ogoni flag, I pledge my tag.

I want to briefly comment that what Corps members are passing through is terrible, especially when it comes to their welfair, they are being paid #19,800 which is not enough for house rent, talkless of health, feeding, transportation and clothings etc. Hence, i will urge the Federal Government of Nigeria to do something about the increament of their allowance. Secondly, it is too bad that innocent graduates are being spread all over Nigeria, all in the name of 'serving your fathers land' then at the end of this one year service, those graduates still carry files moving from one office to another looking for job. This has propel me to ask the following questions; 1.What is the essence of NYSC? 2.Is the schem really achieving its aim and objective? 3.If yes, whats the place and plan for those who have served their fathers land? 4.Don't you think NYSC is a one year waste of time and resouces. 5.Don't you think the scheme is only putting food on the table of some cabals in Nigeria? burabarisunday@gmail.com

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KEN SARO-WIWA. HBD to the late writer, environmental activist, businessman, politician, and a social crusader, KEN SARO-WIWA,who died as sacrificial lamb for the freedom of the Ogoni People,Niger Delta, and the world minority at large. Royal Dutch/Shell in collaboration with the Nigerian Government began oil exploration in Ogoni land by 1958. From 1976-1991 there were reportedly 2,976 oil spills of over 2.1 million barrels of oil in Ogoniland.Because of the sickness, death, hunger and farmine as a result of the ecological war on Ogoni land.Ken Saro-Wiwa,the President of MOSOP pressented the Ogoni Bill Of Rights, that demanded among others,a fair shair of the proceed of oil extraction, increasing autonomy for the Ogoni People and remediation of environmental damages on the Ogoniland by foreign oil corporation. But they killed him, that his argitation was baseless. Hence, this group aim at ensuring the implementation of the Ogoni Bill Of Rights and to recnsider that #ill_judgemnt Comrd Deezia

Our culture has been sacrificed at the alter of modernization, because of the believe that whatever is indigenous is develish and demeaning, hence rejection and denial of who we truely are which has turn Nigerians and Africans at large to "Indigenous Strangers..." The black skin is not a badge of shame but rather a glorious symbol of national greatness. (Garvey). I am African, not because l was born in Africa but because Africa is born in me (Kwame) l am proud of my colour, I am proud to be black, I am proud to be an Ogoni man.
