Woyo mama..... Cars don suffer for nija. That doesn't solve the problems Bros, it just resets ur ecu, and as long as the issue is not fixed, the light will come back on after several driving cycles. Oga, scan that car and have d issue fixed before it turns into a big problem

Soon after buying my Toyota Sienna 2001 model the 'check engine' light came on. But after asking so many mechanics, I keep getting 'it is not important' response but I ve decided to run a diagnostic. However one of the mechanics I spoke to taught me something. He said to remove one terminal of the battery for a few minutes and put it back! I have a 2004 lexus RX 330(4WD) with loud GRINDING noise from the back of the car. The noise is very loud when the car is in reverse even on a smooth road. It is also very loud on rough bumpy road. it seems to disappear when I am speeding on smooth road.

The noise sounds like metals rubbing against each other. I have changed the two rear shock absorbers but the problem persists.

Can someone with similar problem which has been resolved help me out ?

Well, my scanner arrived today and i scanned the car. Got the following error codes;
P0401
P2803: P2803 - Transmission Range Sensor 'B' Circuit High. Not much i can find online for this. Could it be that when the transmission fluid drain was carried out, the mechanic didnt fix the sensor back properly?

I opened a thread for this earlier but didn't really get any useful info (https://www.nairaland.com/1964693/toyota-camry-2007-v6-se) and the transmission seems to be worse than it was before I did the transmission fluid change. it is still flaring, but worse now, as even when the car is warm, I still have the flare on the 3rd n 4th gear. The transmission was really smooth before this, but now feels a like it jolts a little when it engages. Before the transmission fluid drain n refill, I didn't get the error code P2803, but now I have it, please help!!!!!

Here's what I found from other lexus es350 users on clublexus.com. The transmission flare can be resolved by running your transmission through all the gears before moving every morning. It takes about 10 seconds. With the engine running shift through P to R,N,D then 4,5,6 then return to P.I assume your transmission is Manumatic. I've tried it for 3 days and it works.
