dandollaz:Tinubu did not promise cheap fuel. He promised to remove subsidy and every reasonable person knows what that means. The discussion now should center around alternative to fuel, mode of transport that will guarantee less reliance on petrol and diesel. Nigerians need well paying jobs, security, justice, rule of law , good and reliable infrastructure that will guarantee better quality of life and not cheap fuel. We must get our priorities right. Our orientation need to change from analogue to digital and from 1980 to the 21st century. If we want to develop like the west, then our thinking, expectations and ways of doing things must change. |
Tinubu delivering on all that he promised in his manifesto and campaign. Reforms are not fun or easy at the initial stage but the end justify the means. |
Boniface actually tried today. Hitting the post once. The goals just refused to come. We played well but creative attacking midfielder is still lacking. We must also not forget that the Rwandans were playing in front of home crowd which includes their President and the fact that Nigeria had to travel for this game after our last home game in Nigeria on Saturday. Obviously, the boys were fatigued and for a team that is still struggling on their on the field chemistry, it is tough. Overall, good effort from the team. Something the coaches can go back and make some corrections that will help in a situation like we found ourselves today. |

robosky02:There is nothing wrong with that Goal. |
We have Dangote producing enough fuel to supply to Nigeria and neighbouring countries. But suddenly it appears nobody knows what to do. It appears Nigeria is not ready to buy and distribute Dangote products. And the business man has mentioned that he is prepared to export its product. Dangote is not a charity organisation. The man has borrowed to set up it's business and it is not different from other refineries where Nigeria is importing from. |
Petrol is a commodity which price is determined by global factors. Unless Govt is subsidizing the price of the product, the price will be at cost with a little margin for producers and marketers. If it cost Dangote N800 to refine a liter of fuel, the selling price will be close to N1,000. If NNPC can source cheaper through other local refiners or marketers, then they should provide the product. Alternative is to really work hard at other options to petrol products for our energy needs. Like Rail, Electricity etc. We can't eat our cake and still have it at the same time. This is the reality. |
When human wants and greed were few . |
robosky02:Finidi need to apologize to Nigerians for his poor performance as a Coach and need to stop deflecting on his failure to the poor boy Osimhen. In fact, due to his poor showings, it will be almost a miracle for Nigeria to still qualify for the next world cup. |
Gadafii:That thing is a scam. Acted to swing votes for Trump. The truth might come out one day. |
It's going to be hard from dissuading people from patronising scammers like this. Religion is a personal thing and people can believe whatever they want to believe in. |
WhizdomXX:Exactly. We are better than this as a people |
ShoeGetSize:Yes, we have it all except Obi.dense ![]() |

Nigeria 3: Benin 0 This is how you separate boys from the men. |
No be today. The guy dey look for attention. |
lexy2014:Don't make the mistake to think I owe you any answer. That being said, if you don't understand what I wrote, that is fine too. Have a nice life. |
OLAADEGBU:Yes, let's blame Tinubu for this Governor failure! |
lexy2014:Your issue is understandable. This is in reference to those bellyaching because their candidate lost the last election. You don't necessarily have to personalize it but some.people just don't wish the country well nor interested in admitting progress . The country is going through a phase of economic resetting so there will be initial pain then things will start taking better shape. The issue now is about fuel price , availability and transport cost. As it is today, what will make fuel price cheaper and readily available is subsidy. Many Nigerians agreed that subsidy payment on fuel is not sustainable if we are hoping to develop. Alternatives are being put in place and it may not go round immediately. For example, Lagos which is the most populated state in Nigeria has introduced train which is meant to reduce our fuel demand and affordable transit system for people. BRT is subsidized. The problem is that many states are just irresponsible and there is not much the President can do ( no matter who that President is). So blaming Tinubu or FG will not solve the problem. There are other things that are being introduced like the conversion of vehicles to use compressed natural gas instead of petrol. These among many other initiatives is not something that the impact nor its distribution will be felt or go round immediately. |
lexy2014:You have no hope because your favourite lost the election and you don't wish the country well. You issue is understandable |
What happened to conversion to gas? |
Racoon:Where is the source? |
Viz75Trader:But that tribe has been governing themselves and we can't see the success there. You guys need to learn democracy. Minority will have their say while majority will have their ways. You can't force your candidate on others. If majority of Nigerian voters rejects Obi, he can't be President. It's as simple as that. |
Akinpresident:And how did you arrive at the N300? Have you ever done any business or produce anything before? How much should Nigeria sell crude to Dangote in Naira / Dollar equivalency? Talk is cheap. |
Tinubuofemmanu:So far Obi is their candidate and the so called Obidients are the majority, it is still Eboe party. Any other ethnic group is just there as spectator. |
sukar886:What is the cost of production? Do you just fix price arbitrarily? |
Osimhen will do what's best for him. Wishing the young lad all the best in life. |
papyjaypaul:Nobody is talking again about Finidi's failure as a coach. Loosing a very important march to Benin Republic among others. But the focus is now on Osimhen who could not play due to injury and the comments he made. Black and sentiment that will not allow them to focus on the important things. |
DeathToRiggers:Na wa oh. See as you open your mouth waaah. Talk like who no get sense at all. Person born you think say him get pikin? Osimhen is good and made. He will play soccer and live his life at his own terms and not according to yours. |
