All they do is to repaint those 1965 trains and put them back on track.
Iam assuring you that those trains will not last more than 6 months.
When sambo was kaduna state gov he did some thing like this and after 6 months they all collapsed. |

ok.. didnt read the other post LRNZH: Read this.
Gov't has failed nigerians woefully too many times it makes promises. So Nigerians dont trust Gov't.
Ok look, after the January, 2012 subsidy riots, GEJ promised that two refineries will be functional with the partial subsidy removal money. Where are the functional refineries? Nowhere to be found. You now expect Nigerians to agree to total subsidy removal aka deregulation meanwhile they're yet to see the promise from the last time.
It is give and take. If the Gov't can get say two refineries working as promised then it is easier to preach total deregulation.
No body trusts the kleptomaniac Gov't. |

Naa ony Bungee jumping on top of fence dey fit do... Feraz: Oh... You can imagine. There's been something like this since when again? 2004... Yet, they haven't done anything. And from what I can read there, it also said any other body apart from the Nigerian railway cooperation. Sitting on a law that will change something positively and usher in private investors for ten years. That shows the kinda leaders we have. Yet, Nigerians never bothered checking. They blame the president for everything including the ones that is supposed to be handled by the state and local governments. Let us not even go into the PIB which I heard is still pending in the NASS.
Where's anonimi? Can you throw more light on the above act? |

nope....the only way is deregulation or selling it let the gov keep some shares......Let demand and supply determine the price, that is the only way u can have accountability. But everybody protested against it LRNZH: If GEJ had taken a concrete action on the refineries, he would have dismantled the cabal without a single committee, lawsuit or tribunal.
It is a missed opportunity. |

15. The procurement of new Air Buses by Nigeria Airways in 1985 to boost air transportation.
Note that all these were achieved in less than 3 years, and his outstanding achievements as PTF chairman have not been mentioned.

Hmnn Apc........Sept salary why didnt Fayemi pay the poor workers before he left abi na bomb lalasticlala: A statement by the APC Publicity Secretary in Ekiti State, Taiwo Olatubosun, said it is ungodly for a leader to enjoy all the bliss that goes with Christmas while denying the people he leads their entitlements at the time members of their families look up to them for the yearly pleasure of Christmas
The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has slammed Governor Ayodele Fayose for refusal to pay workers their September and December salaries, saying such is a deliberate insensitivity to the yearnings of workers to enjoy the end-of-year festivities with their families.
A statement by the APC Publicity Secretary in Ekiti State, Taiwo Olatubosun, said it is ungodly for a leader to enjoy all the bliss that goes with Christmas while denying the people he leads their entitlements at the time members of their families look up to them for the yearly pleasure of Christmas.
Olatubosun said that by December 18 last year, all workers had received their salaries and Christmas bonus in addition to their leave bonus, while pensioners were also paid.
He said Fayose grudgingly asked the banks to pay workers half of their salary in the night of December 24 after bitter complaints from workers.
He said: “It is evil for a leader to deduct N2,000 from the salary of each worker for the purpose of buying them Christmas gifts only to give not up to half of the workers a chicken smaller than a pigeon worth less than N800.
“It is callous to take convention funds for the delegates of your party members on the guise that you are spending it for Christmas gift only for you to keep more than half of that money in your private pocket while your party members go hungry during this festive period.”
Olatunbosun added that Fayose had made avoidable suffering part of his policy to make life unbearable for Ekiti State people, citing shutting down the state capital every night by cutting off streetlights at nights with its attendant insecurity of life and property.
He added: “On Christmas eve when our people were supposed to be in celebration mood, Ekiti frustrated workers were on queues at ATM points waiting for the salary alerts.
“Today, night life is gone in the state capital because there is no streetlights again.
“Armed robbers and pick-pockets are back in the state capital terrorising residents at nights. “The governor promised Ekiti people rice and chickens for Christmas but only gave one and half “congos” of rice and one “oromodiye” (chicken) that costs less than N600 and not fit for consumption.”
Olatubosun urged NAFDAC to conduct investigation into the suitability of the chickens the governor gave out to workers for consumption, noting that rearing seven-month-old chickens for consumption is cruelty against animals.
The APC spokesman said instead of giving Ekiti State youths promising future, Fayose had turned them to an army of beggars and hangers-on.
He added that while the governor did not have any youth empowerment scheme to create jobs for Ekiti State youths, he had been using his personal mechanics from his Ibadan. Oyo State base to work on government serviceable vehicles in the Government House vehicles pool.

LRNZH...i dont pay a kobo for SIM card now and i get better service because after reform things dont get better immediately ....but after sometimes the infrastructure get better and the sector grows....There are new employments going on right now because we need technicians and engneers to power the reform, my brother na patience we need and continuity LRNZH: You bought sim card for 14k but you got the service you paid for immediately. People were already getting employed by these telecoms coys and banks at that time. That's the impact right there.
Compare with GEJs paying higher tariff but worsening electricity supply, removing part of fuel subsidy but not a single refinery turn around to show for it. No new employment in the power sector, no improved service or living conditions. Power workers are threatening strike while oil workers just finished their own strike.

Human memory is short...OBJ's banking and telecom reform didnt bring immediate result...i remember cost of the 1st sim card i bought (14K) and how much they cost now....using newspaper as source of corruption is outdated, the late Tai Solarin comes to my mind......about the donation maybe PDP as party is being too honest about the source of their fund, i wish APC can honest about the souurce of their donations LRNZH: OBJ's banking and Telecom reforms brought results immediately even before his second term in 2003. My point is the power situation has even got worse after the claimed power reforms of GEJ. Evidence for siphoned funds? They sacked Prof Birth Nnaji, NNPC could not account for $20Billion, now Jerry Gana (a career public servant and former Geography lecturer at ABU Zaria) and undisclosed 'friends' are donating N21Billion to GEJ for 2015 elections. Abeg leave matter. All these things can't be fabricated lies na... See below |
