Same here.. Its applicable to me here in Ibadan. You will need vital information online infront of clients. And what the clients see u do is on and off ur data up to 10times before getting connected. Its really embarrassing @ this age and time where data sevices should work smoothly hitch free... Na wa ooo

I have the same experience with Glo. Very slow internet connection and very annoying. I wonder why, with all their submarine cable advert their browsing network is rubbish. I browse with Airtel and it's very fast and reliable. I know Etisalat is also fast because I browse with it also. So I wonder why GLO keeps making noises about their fibre optics as if it gives them an advantage

Since I started using GLO i stopped watching YOU TUBE even though I have an over abundance of MB. It is so erratic and unreliable that you will have to wait forever.

Presently I'm in computer village IKEJA. 3G is always like gsm. I don't always browse when I'm in the office. But the worst of it all is ibadan. When I'm in ibadan I stay at apete. My ibadan office is at poly road sango. The network is too poor at the office. There's a glo office very close to me. I've been there several times to complain. They'll tell me it's general problem. For months no solution. The only time i browse very well in apete is midnight. Sometimes I'll have to put my phone on the window.
MY house na upstairs ooooo. And i stay up. So I'm surprised that I stay up and put my phone on the window. Yet, it browses at snail speed. I bought spectranet last week. But man can not live on WiFi alone na.

Bought their sim three days ago because of their cheap data plans, but i must say the service is really poor.

Switching back to etisalat soon... Quality is better than quantity.

[size=13pt]@ OP, I've been using GLO data service for quite a long time and it connects like lightning here in Port Harcourt, I think it depends on your location, take note some remote locations only get GPRS/EDGE which is slow, while in the city you can get HSPA...thats really fast!
Also check your system and browser if using a computer to browse....
I use goggle chrome on my system and the speed is superb, one other thing i like about GLO data is that your data gets rolled over to the next month if you didnt exhaust it after your validity period expires unlike others, but you must have the required credit on your line for auto roll-over ....

I dumped glo service since August 2015, It was the only sim I do subscribe to for browsing and downloading (2.5k fo 4.5gig) in Ile-Ife and I've always enjoyed it, sometimes I do finish the data before the end of the month. I started noticing the fluctuation in service june last year but managed to use it wasting like 650mb. The last subscription I did was the worst of all, I traveled from Ife to Osogbo and even went for a wedding in Lagos, it was the same in all these locations, I wasted 1.5gig of that at the end of that month. So many of my friends had the same complain about the network. I still use the sim though, for calls only.

In osogbo glo network is now the best .You can ask anyone in OSOGBO

Guy which one be this 'which area are u staying' that u keep posting. What do u want to reslove? Are u Mike Adenuga? Don't tell me it is configuration because configuration is ok, if it is not ok it will not even browse at all. The problem is the H signal can dissapear and reappear at will and most of the times it disappears when u need it the most. We use other networks and they just work without having to restart phone. Or are u trying to tell us we need some 'skills' to be able to get glo internet to work? If it is so then that confirms it is the worst network.

Please , sir where in ogba do you stay , that would make me able to narrow down to the site serving u .or better still if u can download g-net track u will be able to tell me the cell ID u are latched on that will make it easier to check through the problem. just give a precise location

Bro, nobody is disputing the speed of glo, it is fast when it works. The problem is lots of times the data signal dissapears for no reason. I live I the heart of Lagos where every network provider in Nigeria have their best service. Yes, Lagos.... Because Lagos is the business centre in Nigeria, the population of Lagos alone is more than 7-8 states put together. If they can't get their sh*t to work in Lagos then where would they get it to work? The main purpose of business is to make profit, to make profit u need people to buy ur product, to get peoe u need a place with high population. I know another major city, port Harcourt and glo is also nothing to write home about there. So in what major city is glo really good, I wanna know.

Be specific where in lagos area u staying let check it out with you

Using a glo line to download a file of 2.6gig, it's like using razor blade to cut down a tree. .. Glo will claim they give u bonus credit, which is invisible.. I can't even play ordinary candy crush with my Glo data. It has never and it will never sync with my facebook .. so surprising that NCC gave them d best network recently...

In my area Glo EDGE is faster than 3G. From 5pm to midnight glo becomes worst. When u switch to 3G at these times the network just disappears completely.

In portharcourt, its worst. Sometimes there data signal will disappear for close to 30mins. It's worst. I just remove the sim card though I hv some megabytes on it. Bye bye glo

Before u port ,which area are u staying in PH , let work on it to rectify the problem
