Those men that put us in this mess that we call a country. Instead we should all organise ourselves and stone our oppressors but people prefer hailing them.
Now two prominent oppressors are contesting for president, but I am surprised at the number of people supporting them. As at yesterday someone told me that a 3kg cylinder now cost 6k without corresponding increase in salary to offset the inflation threatening the little funds in our pocket.

Ok let protest with our PVC , No!

Nigerians are the most gullible people on earth . I want them to prove me wrong.

With the way we keep cheering this criminals up is never a surprise.

A calculation was made how much a president will earn legitimately around 54million Naira for four years and APC sold her form for 100m.

Now, no one knows how much the eventual winner of the APC primary election would have spent in buying the delegates.

Tell me if the winner God forbid becomes the president, do you think he is going there not to recoup his investment?

Same goes to Atiku.

People should rise up and shock this guys

Speak to the people directly using trump method. Highlights the issues in the north and practical way you hope to help them solve it using Hausa language.

Economy
Health etc.

Constantly engage them the youth leaders in discussions on importance of choosing right and consequences of doing otherwise which they are currently suffering from.

Make videos to explain your points and share it through WhatsApp platforms to capture those in the city centre and use radio to transmit other parts where WhatsApp isn’t used

It pains me so much that our so called elders keep making the same mistakes. I honestly want to see a United south. I have several Igbo friends and business partners, a friend of mine who is Yoruba is getting married to an Igbo lady. We share so much similarities but we still choose to follow the Hausas on political matters, still they use and dump our so called political gladiators. It’s really sad.
I was born and bred in Lagos .
I am in obodo oyibo today because of my yoruba friend.
I am married to a yoruba
Igbos and yoruba live side by side.

Igbos and yoruba marry one another.

I see no reason why we can’t support ourselves.

No shock anywhere.

What we want is a fair primaries, if they win us, we will go back home to Lagos.

—When Buhari lost multiple times and failed, who did he look up to for help? Jagaban

Jagaban need him to reciprocate the effort now, we are not saying Buhari must support Jagaban but at least allow fair primaries and let the party delegates decide their man.

If Buhari cannot do that simple thing, then he is a big BETRAYER!

Asiwaju should rise up, he is a lion, he is Jagaban and a fighter, he fought OBJ and won, he fought the machinery of the PDP through the court and election ground; He should rise up and live up to the hype; We need his leadership and we need him to roar like the LION OF BOURDILLON!
Buhari did not betray anyone . He has compensated Yorubas efforts by making one of their son Vice President. What else do you want?

The betrayal is the coalition of other components of the south who igbos have supported with votes not social media but can throw in the support now.

Mind you, no entity in the south can confront the north without zoning arrangements. We are simply asking what every other past president from the south benefitted too.

Some people made it possible for you to be governor in 1999 too. You didn’t do it alone. Baba leave story.

You played a role no doubt but do not take credits of members of the nPDP that collapsed PDP structure then. The total votes from the south west for APC was less than 2.7M, Kaduna and Kano had more than the entire votes of the South west for the APC.

I just hope we the younger generations are learning from our elders mistakes. The closest neighbors to Yorubas are the Igbos, most of us born here have known Igbos all our lives because we’ve lived in harmony, but when it comes to political alignments Yorubas and Igbos suddenly hate each other. Our elders planted these seeds of enmity in us for I don’t know why. If you ask them, they’ll say “Igbo o da” without giving any concrete reason why they said so. The same thing goes to Igbos they don’t like Yorubas for reasons I still do not understand.

The Hausa/Fulani that we keep aligning with keep playing us and we still continue running back to them. A United South will send shivers down the spines of the entire North; they know that and pray it never happens. I just hope the new generations abolish all these bullshit hate and come together as one. Maybe we should be called Yoruba/Igbo
It is the spirit that reveals this to you not a man.

You have spoken well.
if everyone in the south had cued at the back of Igbos in the name of southern unity that we would not be getting the president .After-all the other components that made up the south were supported with votes to make them president.

My Yoruba brother support igbo presidency we Live together in the south we are not going anywhere.

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo To Meet APC Governors Today by dejol88: 1:55pm On Apr 10, 2022
Amerengues2:
To start with, I am wondering why politicians deploy the tactics of a coach sometimes where you will wait on the opponent's coach to make a substitution before making yours just to know what next to do.

However, I am hopeful that Osinbajo is taking his time to make the correct decision. It appears he doesn't want to be left in the mix.

Perhaps, the rumour between Osinbajo and Amaechi might be real- finding each other a threatening opponents considering they are both close to Buhari.

Also, in saner climes, if you have spent 7 years as a VP in a failed administration, you might just be booed of you want to contest as the president. However, it's different here!

It appears Osinbajo' fan base keeps increasing and this might lend credence to the fact that he is indeed a good and perspicacious leader we need.

Then I ask the question, which is the problem of this country, the POSITION or INDIVIDUAL?
The situation in Nigeria defies sound reasoning.

For me , it translates into how we make choices.

Could it be we are special breed of humans?

Because if we think differently from other people around the world and that translates in producing things that works ,I am sure people will marvel at level of creativity and will be keen to learn from us.

Or
Maybe we have highest concentration of people with the lowest IQ.Though some research points to the fact that Blacks have the lowest IQ and Nigeria being the largest population of blacks means we have a problem.

Little wonder why whoever criticizes Buhari's glaring incompetence is met with grievous sanctions, especially the northerners. The earlier the south and other regions realized that the north are determined to remain in power to milk this country dry, the better for the rest of us. We need to renegotiate our coexistence. You guys are either mischievous or bluntly ignorant.
There are factors or indices you need to consider when tolling a highway, and one of it is traffic.
The denser the vehicular traffic on the road the more the pressure on same road, and the more susceptible it is for maintenance.
Again cost of construction per kilometer and availability of alternative roads.

The second Niger bridge even have an alternative road which is the existing road at the moment. You mustn't pass through the second Niger bridge.

Anyway we can not cure you guys of ceaseless victim mentality and unfounded conspiracy theory, so you are free to conjure any thought.

Fashola promised that they'll only toll when the roads are comfortably motorable. So, if you think the 2nd Niger bridge is a vendetta against SEners, which among the roads listed is motorable and yet to be tolled?
According to the report, if I am travelling from Lagos to owerri a distance of 538km , I will pay toll in Benin to asaba, asaba to onitsha via the new constructed bridge and finally pay toll from onitsha to owerri.

But my good friend shehu will leave same Lagos to Kano about 987km but will only pay toll between lokoja to Abuja.

Absolutely stupid article. Everything is now about nepotism and tribalism. grin grin grin What if the bridge is tolled? And so what? Tolled roads are easier to maintain, and commuters can easily

Do you even know what the terms and agreement in the construction and maintenance of the bridge is? Do you know if a concession agreement was made with the construction company to toll AND maintain the road for Bleep number of years, after which the maintenance of the road reverts to the FG? How do you know if that was that the FG agreed on since it was private public partnership, and they couldn't afford to fund all 100% of the project?

cheesy grin grin I hate it when people just write intelligence nonsense without facts. Even as an Igbo person (I'm from Imo State), in my various travels, I've realized that the best highways around the world are roads that are tolled and concessioned to a private company to maintain.
Why are they not concessioning other roads in Nigeria? Why used tax payers money to fund road construction in other regions and come to south east to play this card of concession?

Are you not here when FG release data tha south east is the poorest in southern Nigeria?

Why further put burden on the poorest people?
