the question is simple but very trickish and confusing especially the colours. The reason I'm able to solve it in less than 30 minutes is that I've solved a similar riddle like that in the past.

Let Susan's numbers of stones rep. S,
Amina's number of stones rep. A, and
Jumoke's number of stones J

Eqn 1: 2(S - 6 + 1) = A + 6 - 1

Eqn 2: 3(J - 14 + 1) = S + 14 - 1

Eqn 3: 6(A - 4 + 1) = J + 4 - 1

Solving these individually, the eqns become;
Eqn 1: 2S - A = 15,
Eqn 2: 3J - S = 52, and
Eqn 3: 6A - J = 21


Now solving together; we have;
A = 7, S = 11 and J = 21.

Therefore, Amina must have taken 7 stones to jewelry store, Susan must have taken 11, and Jumoke must have taken 21. There were thus 39 stones altogether.

This is the direction of float of the liquid..
From tank A to B to C to J (it can't go to D because pipe leading to it is blocked).
Then from J to L (it can't easily get to pipe I because the liquid will need a high pressure to move up against gravity).
While it is struggling to gather enough pressure, the water level in tank J will be rising and the liquid will easily go through to tank L, then straight to F (since pipe leading to H is blocked).


Therefore, tank F will be filled first

Well, if you have any practical suggestions, you can forward it and I will see how feasible it will be to implement. I have tried on my own to figure out the loopholes some people were using to view questions before they are released and I have tried to block all the ones I discovered. If I am able to discover any other means people may be using to see questions before release, I will still block it. But this is a case where nobody is physically watching people as they are taking the quiz, so you can't really tell what people are doing or not doing without some form of evidence.

let me suggest something..
for next week, display all the 23questions once. let all test-takers supply the answers directly to your email, you may give a time frame to that.
Mark and score the responses accordingly. those with highest points and submit early should be declare winners.
