I got admitted on merit into Lagos state university during the administration of Professor Lateef Hussain without knowing anyone, its a pity, that can no longer be said of the present administration who gave merit and excellence no chance in the just concluded admission exercise.
During the tenure of Professor Lateef Hussain, after the post ume as it were then, the aggregate results of each students were release on the school website on the order of merit (from the highest score to the lowest score). Each applicants knows his position on the list and by the time the cut off marks were released, no one feels jilted nor cheated because everything was visibly to the blind and even the deaf could hear.
The administration of Professor Fagbohun promised us a New Dawn, he gave LASU a new tagged - we are lasu, we are proud. But seems, its pride is embedded in corruption.
This present administration gave no cut off marks, the admission merit list is yet to be released only for the management to release a statement that the admission exercise for the 2017/2018 session is closed just few weeks after conducting the screening exercise. This is because the admission exercise was full of unscrupulous act.
it's a pity that excellence, intelligence, merit, outstanding performance, brilliancy are sacrificed on the altar of nepotism, sentiments, ethnicity et al..
I hereby call on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board and its Registrar to look into the Lagos state University Admission exercise so that those without Long Legs do not suffer injustice.

I do think jamb want to minimize the expoitation of candidate by CBT centres....the non-standardization of the charges imposed by this ferocious CBT centres owners, has drawn the attention of JAMB price legislation board to fragmentate this manace!...

On the other hand of the plane, Jamb insufficient and undeveloped Offices across the federation makes life even more tougher for this Despirate university aspirants!....

So Jamb should extend its wings, and let this students have a greater surface area to their large volume, by Allowing the Cbt centres to assist in the process!

I do not think all this uproar and brouhaha caused by jamb ineptitude-ness should be allowed in our society, people can do all this in the comfort of their homes. make all payments and registration/correction solely online... why must we continue to live in the 14th century?
we need young and sound minds in power....
