@poster. My brother its called competition. thats the WORD. everybody in the US is sending car home, what do you expect? prices will drop. |
I really dont understand the rationale behind my country people buying scrap cars and selling thesame @ high price to unsuspecting Nigerians. I think there should be a general campaign against selling/buying accidented cars. Believe me, in my quest on getting a new car, i've come across alot of accidented cars. Does anything actually work in this country?. You see, even those outside the country are not making it better. Even if the whole country drop their money on such cars, i surely wouldnt add/drop my hard earned money on that. And i believe any sane person shouldnt. Maybe if we stop buying their scrap, they may be forced/pushed to start sending good cars down here. N1.5m-N2.0m is equivalent to $10,000-$13,500, which is alot of money by any standard in the world. That kind of money shouldnt go into buying scrap. |
i dont think these buyers are serious. You really cant put a price on a car you've not seen. The seller is also reluctant about dropping the vin. Meaning, something big is wrong. Guess a whole lot of people are wasting their time on here. |
never painted. Good condition. Location:akure. Note: the car is too clean & reliable to be sold below #700. Selling to buy a new car. |
very clean with all features, keyless start, a/c, alloys, etc 170 mileage. fabrics 2-air bags
|
most cars look clean from the pictures, but physical inspection often reveal other things not mentioned by seller. Dont say "very clean" until you inspect. |

@posters, these cars wont sell in nigeria @ these rates, too expensive. i wish you luck in finding buyers |
my jellow country people. Donot be deceived. A brand new kia/hyundai is better than a clean pre-owned eod. Only if i was willing to spend more, i would have settled for 2009 cerato |
yes, i know these cars are pretty different. No doubt, benz is the father of all. Believe me, if i come across awoof money i'll go for the 2008 C-class(buying that car is a dream).i personally once used the '99 c-class & the drive was wonderful, but the maintenance almost drained my account. After which i changed to the 01 altima, although the altima has been loyal, no mechanical fault but itsnt just the car(i got it when the benz was becoming a pain, courtesy of the mechanics who always compound the situation). Although i got some offers for the 04 c-class, but my maintenance history with the older version is scaring me off. And i've always liked the new cerato, that car is sweet. Although i've not driven it, but its sleek on the outside.& i honestly cant tell about the durability, also my friends who drive brandnew hyundai have never complained about mechanical issues (with most of the cars running to 2years). Really confused here. Please can anybody help me out. I just dont wanna spend too much on car for now. I dont think its worth. This is my conclusion; 1.6m is ok for tokunbo. 2.0m above is a good starting point for a new car. PLEASE MY KUNLE & FHEMMY, WHAT IS YOUR LAST PRICE FOR ACCORD 2006 |
Thanks for the message, but if a 2005 accord goes for 2.2million, then i will rather add little more to buy a hyundai tucson or 2009/2010 kia cerato. I am sorry, i am not one of those who spend a fortune on used car. if 1.6million isnt enough, then sellers can go for buyers who have millions to spend on tokunbo car, but i feel 1.6m is good for the mentioned cars. I am sure people who deal in brand new cars dont make as much gain as the tokunbo sellers make. anyway, instead of spending 2million on 2003-2005 accord, i'll rather settle for a brand new car btw 2.2-3.0million range. Thanks for all suggestions & contributions. |
