Nairaland GeneralTechnology In Banking, Should It Be A Thing Of Force? by demmah08(op): 11:56am On Nov 17, 2016
Good day everyone, I realy don't know if anyone has found him/herself in this situation but its kind of embarrassing.
I was at GTBank yesterday to try and do some small transactions for my sister that is in law school and a brother, upon taking my time to queue (and una know how queue for that bank dey be nah) and filling the transfer forms to send 30,000 each to them, I made my way to the front patiently and still enjoying the chilly air-condition (The sun these days badt) then all of a sudden, the lady at the counter said the money is small that i should either go and use the ATM or *737*, (management policyb that money that is under #200,000 should use technology means )then the question stuck to me, why is everything made for the conviniency of the rich? how many of the #180 million are above average class? don't I have a right to choose my own means of banking? should making use of technology be a thing of force or option because GTBank don turn themselves to Nigeria Police.
I believe that as Nigerians we should try as much as possible to understand that we have rights and somebody somewhere should make sure that those rights are not abused, everybody should not just use their power to ride the other.
I now asked the dumb teller who is making shakara like I am an illiterate to technology that if we all start using this process that your management wants to force on us, don't you know that you wouldn't have a job no longer and you would add to the large numbers of youth who are unemployed, then i think that ringed a bell and she was now more aware of the situation and became friendly and all.
Please GTB, technology should not be by force, if i want to queue let me queue and make my transaction(s).

cry angry :-people should be very careful with this scammers o. Can you imagine i was called and asked to send six referees to a certain number. But before then, I should send recharge cards of MTN 1500 x 4 so that my application could be processed. Something I was not shortlisted for even though I got to the interview stage and have since moved on to other things. just how they got my number and knew that I applied for NIS recruitment is baffling.

when more than a million people applied for an opening of just 4650 which was later reduced officially or not to 2000 or less, then there is an element of everything for people to be selected, Luck, Favour, Godfatherism, merit and the rest, yes its true that i also applied due to one reason or the other but i only made it to the parking lot (final verification stage) but never selected, though its disappointing but am not jealous of those that got their success letter... to those that has been selected on merit or the rest, congrats and to the rest hoping and praying for a miracles, well there still are miracles but pls love ur brother as yourself, if u were the ones shortlisted would u be praying for cancellation? lets face it, while some are fortunate to get every FG vacancy job published, some might not get even one.... all fingers are not equal and its not that the fortunate ones are better than the rest, my advise is this, if in the prisons dpt. could bring in more than 700 new recruits either by replacement or backdoor, without upgrading or promoting those that were due for those openings in the service, then there might still be hope, the new recruits are in their various training schools now (information from a friend in the service), even their documentation was done at night at their different training schools as against the state command documentation for levels 03-07 and FCT command for level 08 and above which usually is the norm, the reason why? i do not know.... replacement are never being advertise but they happen, and weather its an illegal or genuine form of recruitment, i do not know... and the permanent secretary is always a part of the decision makers in each ministry so they are a part of the minister team and should know better......... i really do not think this NIS recruitment can be cancelled but they could fill the remaining vacancies if there still exist with new recruitment.... so for those that are still hopeful, it might come but pls stop all this wicked, and jealous comments against your fellow brother and keep focus on whatever u believe in.. thanks Onehouse

i like the way u put this write up, yes its board that recruits graduate ... in the prisons service as at yesterday, the people they replaced over a moth ago has just been documented, back door sote that the people from the Hqt and bored worked from 8pm till 1am like they have something to cover, anyways u just have to keep believing, we hope justic would b done.. and not delayed... if the board do not produce APL then compass08 cant get, anythng below is done by the department, that is compass 03-07,
lanzo:
People hate to hear the truth but it must be said. There cnt be replacement until BOARD regularise the purported appointment by THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE who clearly went beyond their mandate which is just to ASSIST and nothing more, and particularly Comp 8. The various State Command find it difficult to ask those that came with posting letters to go, but decided to allow any one that wish to keep coming until he gets tired of coming. The Board will still review the list of those purportedly given appointment by the BOARD, and am sure that a lot of them will be disqualified because they dont have the requisite credentials. Its only the Board that has the right to recruit and no other person including the over zealous PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE. They were only to assist the BOARD and not to recruit and they very much know about it little wonder they have no APL to give COMP 8 as they cant give any without the BOARD producing it. Long and short is that the original recruitment has not been concluded because of this tussle which the BOARD as I was told yesterday has won and has taken control of the recruitment. I hope no body is disappointed, but that is the truth. If you are waiting for replacement, you need to wait a little longer because the original recruitment should be concluded first by the lawful body. Abba Moro and cable around the former President hijacked the exercise but now they are no more, and a lot will be disappointed. GOD BLESS NIGERIA YOUTHS. DONT ABUSE ME. Prove me wrong if you think that am not right.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigeria Immigration Service 2015 Recruitment Invitation For Aptitude Test by demmah08: 10:08am On May 08, 2015
you do not buy the so called replacement form, you buy the slot and it ranges from 500-700 for level 8 and 300--500 or level 7 and below, Prisons just concluded their replacement and they are allready in their respective training school now, anyways replacement na back door things and if u do not have a strong link then b careful of where u r spending ur money...

Guys for people who did not get to their center early I'll advise u go again the next day as i over-heard some officials telling someone who missed his paper yesterday to go for accreditation today... and for people who are yet to do, ur maths is more of pie-chart but trust me, 1 min per question is never enough for it so b prepared, the logical reasoning is the selling point, u can get all the marks there, for the English, today's own was two answers to a question and the Current Affairs was okay, everything from 2013 till date no much history there.. for u all i wish you'all the best of luck...
