I have trills I bought in March worth 700,000. Do I have to show the statement of the account with the tbills? Please I’m confused

joo2018:
N3,300,000 + N130,000 gives N3,430,000.

I will however advise you to increase the figure by like 5-10% as no one really knows the exchange rate your visa officer will use.

Thank you very much!

I also have T.bills certificate from another account that i bought in March. Can i add that as POF .
Would i need to show a bank statement for that account or the Treasury bills certificate is ok?

Ifeoma77:

Add like 100k to that amount just to be on the safe side

iaatmguy:
you could just add it as your money, it's not necessary it stays for six months prior to your application.
BTW you should increase it, as suggested earlier

From todays rates single applicants need N3,397,810 as proof of funds. My mum gifted me N3,300,000 today and i'm doing a gift deed. I already have N130,000 in my account but it hasnt been sitting for 6 months.I hope to enter the pool before the next draw. Can i present my statement like that or i have to get my mum to gift me the remaining 100,000?

Please how do i go about a 10% gift deed?

YOU ASKED FOR IT:

FULL GIST

We are exceedingly grateful to God. I have tasted and known that He makes all things beautiful in His time.

I first heard about Express Entry in the 2nd week of April 2018, and decided to give it a try. After simulating scores with all possible IELTS score, I registered for IELTS. Although I’m not 47 as my moniker might suggest, I recently discovered I’m not getting any younger.
IELTS May 12th: LRWS 9,7,7,7.5
Spouse IELTS: LRWS 7,8,7,8
ECA processing for spouse and myself started just before my IELTS. Within 2 months, everything was out.
CRS- 444
ITA- 25th July (cut-off was 441)

At this point, I must state that there’s an unwritten rule that people who find it easy pre-ITA have a difficult ride afterwards. But we said 'it’s not our portion.' It was amazing that within 3 months and a few days of hearing about EE, we had gotten ITA. IELTS one-touch for both of us. ECA also was fast. My spouse got hers out within one month, mine was slightly delayed but still came out within 6 weeks.

Medicals, PCC, Reference were smooth too. In fact for our PR application photo, we all wore the same fabric, thinking that the VOs will be happy and will give us PPR quickly because we were a happy family…..lol. For where?
POF was via (notarized) gift deed.

AOR: 9/11 (September 11th).

BIL/MEP came October 5th and we captured in Abuja on the 10th. So smooth too. Everything was done within 30 mins or so (I shared it in an earlier thread). We live outside Abuja and had to fly to Abuja and return same day. We had ample time in between as the biometrics finished far earlier than we anticipated, so we just moved to the movie theatre on another floor of the same building and saw one dry movie- the real Yoruba demons.

Then the wait began. Now, I must let you know that you have never seen someone who worries and is as anxious as my spouse, I can bet wink. We saw @Kwadoo testify within 3 weeks (the fastest we had seen at that time); also @mepconsultant and how he was accused of fabricating his story. We tapped into his testimony that our miracle will be such that people would doubt its validity.

Me oh, I just knew that it would come within 6 months, and since I was not ready to travel until after mid-2019, I wasn’t worried at all. It was argued here that the job mail was for those who were sent to London and everybody was praying against London VO. Every 10 mins (an exaggeration), my wife would ask if I had gotten that mail. I said ‘na wah oh’. Until October 23rd, true true that mail came and our status changed to IP1. (That was exactly 6 months to our PPR). I was scared to tell her. Well, after telling her we did a little research and made some calls and found that the mail was not only for London. We heard Accra people got it too, and someone whose VO was Ottawa also said he got it, so we debunked the relevance of the mail. Then the prayer point changed to let it not be Accra. I said I thought it was London we were praying against. She said the problem with London is that they stayed up to the full 6 months, but Accra may not get for like 1 year. What? That means we were praying wrongly all along.

To cut the long story short, after one of those long calls to CIC, we found out that we were in Accra visa office. Depression set in. The mood in the house changed for days to weeks, and alternated with some episodes of normal mood. I ordered for GCMS notes exactly a month to our completed 6 months. My thought was that nothing had been done on our application. I knew it had not been touched, and there was nothing the GCMS note would tell us. I wanted to do it close to the 6 months mark, so when preparing the note, the VO will see that everything is okay and possibly send us a PPR.

Well, the note arrived on March 9th, and while we just finished going through the notes, we saw from the AVO group that people were getting ADRs. About 2 hours later, our ADR arrived. We were overjoyed. Submitted them on the 12th of March. More ups and downs until we saw many people in AVO getting PPRs. We were so happy. Later the mood changed, when we saw November AORs getting PPR from AVO while many August and September were untouched. ‘They have forgotten us. We may have to wait till January-April 2020’…..lol. shocked

I emailed Ralph about a week after the 6 months mark, and he responded that Eligibility Pass was recommended. It seemed like a breakthrough.

When we moved to IP2 on the 18th of April, that was when we celebrated the PPR, because Accra is pretty predictable at this stage. IP2 today and PPR tomorrow. The IP2 took away the PPR excitement when it finally came. So unfortunately for us, Friday and Monday were public holidays and so we had to wait till Tuesday. Lo and behold, before 9am Nigerian time, I saw an email of donotreply and knew it was PPR.
Behold, PPR: April 23rd (yesterday)

I am exceedingly grateful to God for this. I dedicate this PPR to the God I serve. My second dedication goes to my wife, who is now a proud owner of PPR…lol. At a time she was worried that I was not worried, but all her efforts especially her contacts and information were vital and invaluable. She can push anybody to succeed. And to everyone who has contributed here, and those who make this group lively.

For those who are still waiting for theirs or are at different stages, don’t worry, it will be fine. Trust me.

Finally, I no dey worry, I no dey worry but every morning for the past 6 months, I woke up with a voice telling me that ‘today’ was my day….. grin. Nothing dey happen for Accra, nothing dey happen for Accra, but I checked my profile a minimum of 5 times per day all these months, thinking my case would be different and I didn’t want to hear that PPR was sent to my spam 10 days ago without me knowing. I checked as often as possible; call it being meticulous, call it being anxious, but yesterday PPR came…… Signs out.
