Faith111: Then President Buhari is Not a Politician and can't rule a complex nation like Nigeria. Now he knows we hate him, let him let us be... We wanna be all by ourself... He should rule those who Love him (North and SW) and leave Us to control our resources. You can't Hate us and want our Crude...No way! I understand the Yorubas are pained because they have no resource to control... Remember you have lands for Cocoa farming. You must be primary 4 student to spew the trash above. Did you just say Yoruba have no resources to control? Seun should do something about these ignorant kids polluting this forum. This is serious. |

[s] Firefire: Fayose thou open to all, including the labour leaders of the state, both on when the fed. allocation is received and its disbursement. I expect him to know that certain utterances that could aggravate bitterness and annoyance and further trouble the already troubled water should have been avoided.
These are part of the 'unguided utterance' Nigerians are castigating the president on, the 5% / 95%.
Dear Ayodele Fayose,
You have to tender an unreserved apologies to the workers of Ekiti State within the next 24 Hours for that careless statement of yours, admit, your predecessor borrowed into the future of the unborn children of Ekiti, we however expect you to be cautious about your speech and statement as a fearless Hero and Role Model to many.
Thank you for heeding to the 'voice of reason'.
Shalom. Firefire! [/s] Trash. You insult the President for everything and was even denigrating my state governor for donating vehicles to the Police yet you spewing rubbish epistle when its the turn of your paymaster. Dont you have any shame? God will judge you and all hypocrites on this forum. |

This is the kind of thread where you see the Wailing Mournful Jewish Uganda Miscreants scamper to take cover in their dingy burrows.
The slimy molluscs would start wondering if indeed Fowlyose isn't suffering from what I suspect he's suffering from- dementia from a curse placed on him by his parents.
Fayose is the greatest adopted child of the Bolton Wanderers- greater than Ojuikwu himself!

omonnakoda: Anywhere this nonsense is vomited it must be refuted. Nigeria started with Regionalism..
Ironsi Stopped it At the last National conference the SW was firmly for resource control the SS and SE sold out
It was embarrassing to watch that brave woman Aniko Briggs take on the North single handedly as her brothers abandoned her to her fate
This is not about resource control. An Ijaw man was in power supported by the SE for 5 years what did he do? He empowered militants like Tompolo while Dieziani looted the country blind. HE had the highest oil revenue in history .What did he do with it?.He failed to clean up Ogoniland. he failed to develop even his own Otuoke. So stop deceiving yourself that this has anything to do with resource control. |

Why have you turned a blind eye to their demand of resource control, why is the north and west always against anything regionalism or resource control? You come online to mislead people cos of your inborn hatred for the SW. We know those that have always champion the regionalism and resource control cause, do your research instead of disgracing yourself online. |

Dereformer: Thank you so much. I am happy you recognised just like most of your brothers and sisters that you are yoruba first.
Me i am an Igbo man first. An hausa man is hausa man first, ijaw man is ijaw first, itsekiris are itsekiri first.
You see why we are better staying separate.
Believe me, the south west will be a great country if you guy go your separate way. Same for igbos, same for hausa/fulani, same for others.
Now think about this, why are we not encouraging ourselves to go our separate ways or encouraging those who want to if that will bring better development to all concerned?
Let me have your opinion on this. My people have always support the seperation of this country, the likes of FFK, Soyinka, Afenifere groups and many others have always support your cause. Soyinka was even jailed cos of this movement, do it the legal way and not the cursing/insulting other tribes way of Kanu. Everyone will be great when independent, thats certain. |

Dereformer: A worthy soldier knows when to push, when to pull, when to resist, and most importantly when to run away.
Ojukwu, hate him or love him, remains the greatest Igbo man of all times.
He is loved by his people even after death.
To show their love for Ojukwu, his people gave him a worthy burial that no man born of a woman has received on the planet earth.
I was in Nnewi at that time. It was awe inspiring. Even his enemies could not but say that he is in deed a great man.
Now, each time i read about the animosity and the fight between the Igbos and the Yorubas, I always tell myself that the north is indeed playing their cards well.
They (the north) understood that to maintain their hold on power these two tribes must not see eye to eye.
What pains me the most is that Igbos and the Yorubas do not seem to understand this.
My closest friend Seun is a Yoruba man. Each time i visit lagos, I stay in his house. He and his family have been to my house in the east a couple of times.
Each time I bring up the issue of the level of hatred between our people, he always tell me that some persons are a gaining from it. And would do any thing to ensure that their is no peace between the two major tribes.
I believe my friend, but I blame the Igbo and the yoruba the more.
Have you ever wondered why, the Igbos, the yorubas, the itsekiris, the ijaws, the middle belt tribes want resource control but the hausa/fulani will have non of that?
Yet what they(hausa/fulani) want prevails.
Have you ever wondered why the Igbos, the yorubas, the itsekiris, the ijaws, the idomas etc want state police, regional autonomy, a sort of confederal arrangement, yet the hausa/fulani would not have any of that. Yet what they want prevails.
Are we in the south and middle belt cursed? Are we under a spell? Are jinxed?
To be continued. You have a point but i hate the fact that you people blame us for everything. This thread is about Yoruba and Ijaw NDA, see how your brothers storm the thread to denigrate the Yorubas, there was an open Lagos Epe indigene forum of ours on facebook, you wont believe some Ibo people joined the forum and start telling us our land is no mans land bla bla bla. The mod was forced to delete them and private the forum. On this forum, an Ibo guy once said Tinubu is responsible for the rot in Abia, why blame us for everything. There is Abia, Imo and Enugu thread and you cant see any Yoruba on that thread but just check our past SW commonwealth thread and the Ibadan thread, your brothers were all over it trying to derail that thread. I am Yoruba first before a Nigerian ( Nigeria is even my 2nd country by citizenship), we can stand on our own and its the fact. Make everybody bear hin papa name. God bless you. |

manie: Our leaders need to start from somewhere, we need forward thinking leaders in Nigeria.
The Lagos that was the Federal Capital of Nigeria, was just 5% of the current Lagos. The federal capital included Lagos Island, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Ebute metta, Yaba, part of Apapa, and some parts of Surulere.
The boundary of Lagos and Western region toward Ikorodu road was Jibowu, the boundary towards Victoria Island was Maroko, while there was another boundary at Ajegunle Apapa, that area is still known as boundary till date.
Awolowo established Industrial Estates at Ilupeju, Apapa, Matori, Isolo, Ikeja, Ogba, these Industrial estates are still present till date, he established Agricultural settlements at Oko Oba, Lekki, Ajah and some places in present Lagos State which used to be under the Western region.
Western region through Odua Investment, invested heavily in companies like Guiness, Nigeria breweries, Vita foam, WAPCO, Nigeria Bottling corporation, Nestle, Cadbury just to mention a few. Unfortunately subsequent military governors mis-managed the investments of Odua.
Odua governors are current having investments and economic summits, they are also thinking of collaboration, instead of waiting for a FG, i think our governors need to take their destinies into their own hands. God bless you. |
