jesustheissue:
Ordinary life jackets could not be provided by boat operators. Ahh, what kind of people are we? Unfortunately too, when life jackets are available, some Nigerians refuse to make use of them. What avoidable loss of life. May God comfort the families that have lost their loved ones.
Guy, Almost all boats have life jackets just that some passengers choose not wear them. Saying they are not comfortable with it. And life jackets alone don't give the maximum safety u need.. Sometimes the nature of the accident is also a factor. If you have used water transportation u will know. By the way am from Bayelsa state and that route is one I ply when going to my village.

PastorFire:
They are not allowed to send it. The process is that, the account number is created for you and sent to Lagos. Lagos then credit your account and notify you via bank alert.
You will go there, collect a cheque from them and cash out through the counter. No USSD, no internet banking.
Guy do you know how long it takes for an account to be created.
