[b]Police Report Request : Good Morning all, I have received a request from IRCC to provide updated police clearance for my husband and I. Our application was submitted in July 2020. I lived in the USA at the time and was able to present this police report. I have since relocated back to Nigeria in December 2020 and want to ask if I go ahead to remind them that I raised a case note notifying of my change in address. Or, do I simply go ahead and provide the clearance for Nigeria and the USA? Please help. Thanks |
Hello, Is there a peculiarity or reason for applicants whose files get transferred to Etobicoke Visa office? I ordered my GCMS note and discovered my application was moved there. Prior to this, I have never heard of this visa office before( not common among EE applicants) It is giving me anxieties as the last time any activity occurred around my application was September 2020, shortly after biometrics. Researched the internet and noticed same trend in handling applications. Please are there people who have had PR approvals with this office and wondered if they also experienced long wait durations? Thank you! |

Dear Seniors , I have an ongoing application and my POF for a family of 4 currently sits at 6,689,161. We submitted in July and at the time we had very little overage compared to the required minimum. The rates are so high now and this has an impact on our submitted POF. Please my questions are: 1. Is the POF rate locked after submission? If not 2. Can we deposit funds into it to bring it to the required minimum? And if we do, 3. Do we have to explain why there is a lump sum inflow? Please help answer and if this has been asked and answered before I beg you to help paste the link so I can check it out biko. Thanks again all and God bless you all. |
uche13:Congratulations! Your testimony is inspiring. God is the crowning strength in our preparations. No matter how prepared we say we are, we are inadequate. His hand of Mercy will take us through. Congratulations. |
uche13:Wow!!! Congratulations!!!! |
God bless you more for your labor of love. I appreciate your response and perspectives that come with it. Yes, I was resident there and I thought to change the address and do the needful when I got back here. I’ve been called for biometrics and may just wait it out since it’s really not a problem as you have explained. Thank you Cheers! Mamaroon: |
Hello, May I please get a clearer perspective on this PCC matter. I submitted my application in July in the US and I recently moved back to Nigeria in August. I informed IRCC of the new address and was just reading up when I saw this on page 1 For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country. Please does this apply to me in anyway? Is there something else I need to do Inorder to ensure compliance? Such as requesting for another PCC and uploading same as CSE? Thank you for your help. |
Oh sure I can disclose. So Back in the 90s, his elder brother wanted him to leave for greener pastures and sponsored a visa through a visa agent that got him as far as the entry border and he was turned back to Nigeria. ( fake visa). Later on, he visited the embassy and was granted a visa via an interview and went to the US. Then it was a three month period validity and he over stayed that by one month. Returned to the country and visited again for a month. Went in to renew his visa and was scolded during his interview that he overstayed a visit but he was granted. He used it once. Stayed 8 days and returned. Went back to renew in 2007 and was denied . Reason was that he overstayed . Thought nothing much to it since he was always visiting the UK and thought he’d try again. In 2019 he wanted to attend a conference so he went for a renewal. That was when he found out after the denial that he was banned in 2007. We got married in 2010 So he was devastated knowing that he was banned more so, now that he wants us to relocate. It’s painful but I don’t know how this plays out. No crime was committed within the country during his stay neither were any issues with authorities. This is all that happened. SunshineD1: |

Good day Elders, Please I am a new member here and I’ve been reading up a lot. I have a strong concern about my intention to relocate with my family. It is that my husband has one rejection and a life ban from the US and I don’t know if this will clog or affect our being able to sail through with a Canadian PR. We have all and every intention of disclosing all but I am not sure of how it plays out with Canada. Please how do I address this situation in the application? Has this affected anyone positively or negatively? Thank you all. |
