BiigTee:Good evening sir.. Thanks for your steady engagement. Turkey doors are good. However, subjecting them to weather over a long period of time will actually make dem fade because of too much sun exposure and rain. However, if they are hidden or shielded a bit, this can slow down the process. Wooden door that are made of pure hardwood are good too. Unfortunately we didn't use it on this project because of the cost, but we used it at our Lekki projects because the developer can go for it. One of the ways of maintaining turkey doors is periodic cleaning from time to time not like everyday though. Especially the key point, it's subject to rust over a long period of time too. Again, your property location determines the extent to which you might wanna go for in terms of security of the door to be used... Note - My submission here is not exhaustive at this time because there are so many other factors to be considered as well. |
Dangrace01:Thank you too. God bless you |

Let me share the plan so you can see the extent of what we did. Normally I do not share plan online but I am doing this for you to see the extent of transformation we are bringing in... The first two pictures is the formal ground floor and first floor initially designed by a different person of which the ground floor was built already before we took over. Dennis3D - The picture 3 and 4 is now our own modified ground floor as well as completely redesigned first floor.
We started implementing our completely newly redesigned first floor, note that we were also gonna be making amendments on the already done ground floor but we hope to do so at the Plastering stage. We will open some walls and close some in accordance to the redesigned structure. Which the client was pleased with.
Without wasting much time, we got to site and started our work.
We equally noticed that from the Interior shots of the ground floor, there are just too many windows that are unnecessary in the building so we had to close up some and create more room for TV areas and bed headboard areas. Some of the actual pictures of the interior as as follows In fact some of the form work for the decking were removed by us..
More so, here is the actual picture of the site at decking stage before we started our work..
Now, we came up with our own modification and design but interior and exterior outlook

Good morning Good people of Nairaland... We thank all those who have keenly followed us all through the course of our works on different projects and also different states we have carefully executed our works. This one isn't another one, but first of its kind that we are posting here on Nairaland. We have been a bit reluctant in posting it but we just have to because we have been working on this project once January this year. This project was started by another contractor with a different plan before we were called upon to take up the project from the decking stage which is where the previous contractor stopped. According to the client, he wasn't satisfied with the work and so he needs a new touch with good building design and construction reputation. We were referred to this client through our previous works done at Osapa London project which he saw online, though not on Nairaland. He decided to give us a call. Evidently so, the old plan and 3D of the project was given to us for complete redesign and modifications where we can. We took up this challenge with a pinch of salt with hope to fulfilling to the client the reason why we are "Dennis3D Building Design and Construction Limited" For a reason. Now let's begin, further details of this project will be discussed as your questions come in. Mind you pls, we are posting this from March because we have decided to bring up the post on the work progress so far. So feel free to ask your questions... Note: Client is in diaspora and we haven't met before till date. Below is the initial plan in 3D

More views from the Roof Gutter and water collector installation works. Done by the same company that did the roofing installation
Update on the water collector and drop pipes works on this project... If you noticed, we use black gutters and white drop pipes for a reason.
michlins:Proceed, Following. What's the estimated Budget for it |
michlins:Present |
Stay tuned |
Roofing Carcass coming up soon |
Our work... |
We are installing water collector here for this project now... The client preference is black water collector with white downpipe. This was a strategic decision because the final paint color of the building is going to be predominantly white at the end of the day.
BiigTee:Lol Good morning Sir, True, this is due to the fact I have been in another project location... That's why, however expect more frequent update as soon as am back to this project site. Thanks for your keen observation |
We deployed the use of Biodigester on this project.
olatuns2017:Urw sir |
olatuns2017:Good morning Sir. Thats the stage we are about to do next. When we purchase it. I will update the thread with it actual final budget on that. Meanwhile the estimated cost for the roofing ranges between 1m - 1.2m and all are hardwood. The estimated roofing sheet is going to be Gerrard too. |
The tank stand is rising
BiigTee:Chamberless doesn't block because of the size of pipes used for its construction. We use as much as 6 inches pipes here. All pipes we used here are very thick pipes. Biodigester is cheaper to build than Septic Tank by a wide margin. Biodigester ranges between 350 - 500K. Septic Tank and soakaway can cost between 900K - 1.3m depending on the size
