Quite troubling. I believe it's always been ongoing and happens in most developing countries with high poverty rates and Nigeria is a classic case. I would think that some of the harvested parts could even end up overseas especially the Arab or Asian corners. May everyone find their way. |
What is it with the kidnapping of young girls? Parents and guardians need to be more watchful, something is not adding up. |
The fee increment for a session is not much to be realistic, even if they didn't have to pay anything, some people won't still be able to afford being in that level of schooling with other expected expenses. How much do most of these students spend on buying phones , hair, approaching lecturers for sorting and other stuff etc? I attended a federal university and I can tell you that u university education in Nigeria is about the cheapest in the world. The truth is education is almost free in federal universities in Nigeria, I believe the protest is very unnecessary. The student leadership should dialouge with the school authority and vice versa. |
LilMissFavvy:Do you or her father have any evidence that the guy gave her an incurable STD? Or is it her word against the guy? The problem with most people is that "they no dey hear word" |
At this point,I'm forced to believe that Nigeria is under a mysterious curse. The level of fraud, greed and wickedness that Nigerians are capable of is Unimaginable and the truth is no one is really innocent until proven otherwise. Shall we ever be able to come out of this type of conundrum? I sincerely doubt. However if the national roof comes crashing down,I won't be surprised. |
Absolute bullcrap. Why should a reasonable man put himself in such a situation. This plea is nonsensical, what grounds does the wife have to forcefully take his children from him? He should report to appropriate authorities and if the marriage is to be dissolved, I believe there's a legitimate and legal process to be followed. Again,a real man should never put his fate in the hands of a woman no matter the circumstances. If you were foolish enough to put all your investment on a woman with the hope that she will return the favor then you should be smart enough to get the Bleep out of that place and sort your self out rather than cry for help like a lost puppy. |
This is what wike has caused because of his foolishness, greed, inordinate quest for relevance and power. He doesn't care if the state is burnt down provided he can control whoever is in charge of the purse of the government. I urge the people of Rivers state to rise up and take their destiny in their own hands and break away from this shackle and tyranny of a mad man. |

Why wasn't she rushed to another hospital if they experienced rejection on arrival. I was once a victim of an attack on the road some years ago and my father rushed me to a private hospital(I consider that she was assisted by some strangers) I can recall the doctor was making some demands before he could commence treatment while I was losing blood. I was quickly rushed to another facility and from there an emergency doctor was summoned and the hospital services were activated to attend to me. I survived that experience because we did not allow the system to decide my fate. I believe if she was immediately rushed to a private facility, she possibly could have survived. May her soul rest in Peace, several people failed her. |
I sympathize with the deceased and her close humans. It's unfortunate that this kind of situation keeps happening in our clime but couldn't the people who helped her to the Maitama hospital have found another hospital around the very moment they realized the hospital wasn't ready to administer emergency care on her?? |
In other words Ondo no be Lagos. |

Where is nwamaikpe? |
That information and picture is patently false. Symptomatic of how many things in the nation's history remain false, twisted and deliberately manipulated to serve narrow interests. This is why the so called amalgamation has failed to yield tangible success one hundred and nine years after. After more than a century, the country cannot refine it's own energy resources and imports tooth pick fish, pampers etc. Because we live in outright false hood and denial. The amalgamation deed was signed at present day Ikot Abasi, somewhere in Akwa Ibom State. You may want to find the pictures of the place,if necessary. Below is the picture of where the error was enacted. https://dailytrust.com/amalgamation-house-neglected-despite-tourism-potential/

These folks are plain stupid No other explanation suffices. They were claiming to know, now look at where the exchange rate is just in less than two months. How can people sincerely survive under these kind of conditions ![]() Tinubu should better wake up before it's too late |
The third term nigga |
Desperate mofo and wannabe. Sibling of invictus and maybe we can crosscheck to know who his victims of false claims really are. Cutting corners, trying to build a false reputation never pays. |
When Akpabio was Governor of Akwa Ibom state, we cannot give an accurate account of how many ACN members were killed in gangster manners, framed up and incarcerated between 2010-2012 Under his watch because he could not fairly face the then opposition when he was seeking reelection. I dare say that the souls of those murdered for holding alternative political views are yet to find rest due to the violent way they were murdered, some who escaped lost their family members including mothers. In fact, some of their souls may be roaming in sokoto or Gabon seeking rest. Same goes for 2015 against APC when he against the wishes of Akwa Ibom people desperately did the unthinkable to foist his then stooge on the people We don't have a count for those kidnapped, maimed, raped, killed and intimidated for holding contrary political views while he held sway as Governor of Akwa ibom. It is unthinkable and stupid that the same character that never wanted to see ACN or APC survive in Akwa ibom now wants to use APC and Akwa ibom to become senate president. I hope Tinubu and co should better take issues of antecedent seriously and not some deceptive emergency loyalty. |
What's he feeling like? |

Interesting Some men become carried away at the sight of commercialized kpekus and I believe it's a sign of grave mental insanity. May the Almighty forbid bad thing. I once used to frequent that Ehi guest house during my Nysc days in lagos in 2010. |
May God forbid bad thing. Against natural order in my opinion. I cannot endorse it, but is not in my power to judge or condemn them as my judgment will not change the damage done. |
Idiotic story |
A lady I was interested in subtly wanted me to part fund her expenses to pursue a PhD in the UK. I quietly walked away because I understand how fickle these characters can be and she went mad but I didn't budge. Today we no longer communicate and I'm not bothered because I didn't fall for her tricks. Guys should be more resolute when confronted with these kind of issues. |
Tinubu's attempt to foist a willing and conniving set of puppets on the national assembly will fall woefully now and later. Akpabio succeeded in looting 1.4 trillion of nddc funds even without budgetary approval as revelations have shown. This is the money he is currently using to bribe those dishonorable folks around Tinubu and the NWC to push his luck. In any case, we watch as events unfold. |

Senator Godswill Akpabio Bid Faces Fresh Hurdle After Lawan Orders Probe Of NDDC ‘Missing’ N1.4trn The Senate Presidency bid of ex-Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio, is facing fresh hurdles after the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, ordered a probe into how a whopping N1.4 trillion was allegedly Akpabio was not Lawan’s preferred choice for the position with sources saying the Senate President prefers either the Northwest or Southeast for the number three position in the land. Although Akpabio was Minister of Niger Delta, the NDDC has its board with independent operational guidelines. During his stint as Minister, there was frequent friction between him and the commission with several reports of Illegal approval and expenses executed by orders from the Minister. Akpabio also faced serious inquest from the parliament when the budget of the commission was under consideration. While the upper legislative chamber went silent over certain grey areas regarding the Commission’s expenditure almost a year after Akpabio resigned as Minister, the red chamber commenced immediate investigation into what it called questionable expenditures. The upper house is accusing NDDC of lack of transparency and accountability amounting to N1.4 trillion, tasking its committee on Wednesday to investigate and report back within one week. The probe followed a motion by Senator Adamu Aliero (PDP, Kebbi) during consideration of a report by the Committee on Niger Delta on NDDC’s 2021, 2022 and 2023 budgets. Various speakers alleged that the money may have disappeared which was why the lawmakers were not asked to consider an appropriation before it was used. The committee, chaired by Senator Bulus Amos (APC, Gombe), had submitted its report on Tuesday and urged the Senate to approve the budget estimates of 2021 and 2022 financial years, amounting to N1.4 trillion. This was after the President, Muhammadu Buhari had requested the Senate to approve the Commission’s budgets for 2021, 2022 and 2023. The president explained that a total budget of N485.7 billion was proposed for the NDDC in 2021, N928.2 billion for 2022, and N876 billion for 2023. Following the submission of the report by the Amos Committee, the red chamber discovered that N1.4 trillion could not be accounted for with no justification. |

Femisol:Says Nicolo Machiaveli in his best seller book "the Prince" The experience of power is sweeter than sex |
This gutter- man no dey tire? His so called FOI FBI- request can now be found in the muddy gutters and blocked drainages of Awka which Soludo is trying to de-silt. There should be a limit to stupidity and senility especially when dealing with matters of law and nationalistic independence. If it is true that the gutter- man had technically received some financial donation in search of his father's missing left shoe, it's time to get him arrested by the nearest law enforcement to refund what he took from members of the headless mob. Meanwhile, long live the Federal Republic of Naija! |
Reports from the UK court has it that Senator Ike Ekweremadu has been sentenced to serve a jail term of nine years and eight months while his wife is to serve four years and six months. Also the, doctor who facilitated the attempted harvesting of the the kidney of the igbo young man has been sentenced to ten years in prison. This judgment comes as a surprise to many as several efforts were made by several eminent individuals and institutions pleading for leniency on the behalf of the Ekweremadu's. This is definitely a difficult time for those involved in this dramatic incident. |
